    It was in Arkhangelsk in 1693 that the very first New Year's fireworks in Russia thundered.

    From the very foundation of the city, the life of the city and its citizens has been intertwined with the history of the country, with the sea and numerous overseas guests.

    The tour introduces the history of the city, the diverse life of modern Arkhangelsk and its New Year traditions.

    The embankment of the Northern Dvina, ancient houses, ice sculptures, and the atmosphere of New Year's Arkhangelsk will not leave anyone indifferent.

    Excursion to the Museum of Folk Crafts and Crafts of Pomerania. 

    The museum is engaged in the study and preservation of traditional crafts, as well as conducts research on customs and rituals associated with the White Sea crafts. 

    The guests will find themed exhibition halls and the living room of the Canopy of Raspberries, the famous hero of northern fairy tales, a story about the history of the development of fish and St. John's wort, objects of Pomeranian life, fishing and hunting tools for sea animals, a story about the traditions of coastal residents, unique photographic materials and documents of the XIX–XX centuries.

    Excursion to the Open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture "Malye Korely", located 25 km from Arkhangelsk on the picturesque shore of the Northern Dvina River.

    This unique museum, opened to the public 50 years ago, has preserved for posterity the unique creations of folk architecture, demonstrating the life and way of life of the Russian northern village for several centuries.

    Chopped huts, six—walled houses, ancient temples and bell towers, grain barns on stilts, chapels and the largest collection of wooden mills surrounded by the ringing silence of the winter forest will give unforgettable impressions and emotions.
