A light mountain trip through Arkhyz. Camping without heavy backpacks

You can go on this hike with a four-legged friend!

Important condition: the dog is socialized, is not afraid of strangers, dogs and is not aggressive. 

We also ask you to evaluate not only your own, but also the dog's strength, and to make everyone feel safe, indicate your previous hiking experience with a dog. There will be loose stones, snowdrifts and rather steep sections on the route, if the dog is not prepared, it may rub its paws or injure itself.

On the mountainous part of the route, you need to have your own tent in which you will live with your pet. There will be no plans for other participants of the hike to move into this tent.

If you do not have your own tent, you can rent a separate tent from us, which will then need to be handed over in exactly the same condition as it was accepted, i.e. to thoroughly clean it from possible wool.

You also need to prepare food, drink and all necessary conditions for the dog yourself.

We are staying at a hotel for the last night. If the dog is less than 5 kg, then no additional payment is required. Upon check-in at the hotel, you will be charged a deposit of 5,000 rubles, which will be refunded after check-out if everything is OK.

If the dog is larger, you can pay extra or stay in a nearby hotel (not the one where the rest of the group will stay).

Write to the consultant the breed and weight of the dog, or better yet, throw off the photos right away — we will admire and coordinate the living conditions for you.

If you have allergies or a fear of animals, be sure to let us know. We will tell you if there is a pet in your group. In any case, accommodation is in separate rooms and tents. 

We are for the comfort of both people and animals — just let's arrange everything in advance.

We will have reliable communication and Internet only in Arkhyz (the last day of the hike). At the beginning of 1 day, the phone connection is picked up.

On day 4, if you walk back and forth across the clearing and wave your phone, perhaps the spirits of the valley will be kind and you will be able to pick up the signal. But that's not accurate :)

The rest of the time, until the evening of the 5th day, we are without communication, which greatly contributes to unity with nature.

We won't find any outlets at all before checking into the hotel, so stock up on personal power banks. Or turn off your phones and let yourself relax.

Every day there will be an opportunity to refresh yourself in springs, lakes or rivers.

A sauna is planned for the second day. 

On the last day at the Arkhyz hotel, there are showers in each room + a sauna again. 

And in the mountains, you can always arrange a "washing day" from pots of warm water, if you are ready to stay in the camp and not go anywhere. 

Yes, we can leave our things at the hotel in Arkhyz, where we will arrive at the end of the hike. But of course, this is not a storage room, and no one gives any guarantees for such storage. Therefore, we recommend that you do not take extra valuables on a hike, especially those that you are not ready to lose.

On the mountainous part of the route, the food is fully provided by the tour club. The menu focuses on local, fresh products: seasonal vegetables, fruits, cheese and other products from farms in the neighborhood.

The participants prepare the food on their own, under the strict guidance of an instructor. For each day, several duty officers are assigned to be responsible for cooking. We will tell you what to cook and how, and you will be ready to join this fascinating process.

We will take into account all your comments on food that you leave in the pre-income questionnaire. We won't leave vegetarians hungry either :) 

In the last 2 days of the hike, we will live in the village of Arkhyz, lunches and dinners are not included in the price, it will be possible to taste the local cuisine in cafes and/or shops (the average receipt in a cafe is 500 rubles). If desired, we can order a Caucasian dinner for the company with kebabs and shurpa from the hotel owner.

The weather in the Caucasus is changeable and unpredictable. The air temperature averages 20-30 degrees during the day, 10 degrees on average at night, and rain is possible in the afternoon.

The higher we go, the lower the temperature and the higher the chance of rain. In the first half of summer, snow can be seen on the passes and lakes. When the sun is shining, you can get sunburned, don't forget sunscreen and lipstick.

During the entire hike, these guys will meet us extremely rarely and in very small numbers and are unlikely to cause inconvenience. But on a horse ride, you'll have to get along with them :)

Gadfly repellents don't help much, clothes save much better, but if you really want to, you can take them on your own, to calm your soul :)
