Itinerary

  • Day 1 - A trip to the sturgeon farm and a tour of Astrakhan

12:00 Meeting of the group at the airport and at the railway station.

Departure to the Astrakhan Fish sturgeon farm.

13:00 Arrival at the sturgeon farm.

Delicious fish lunch in the restaurant of the author's cuisine with fish dishes (sturgeon ear, sturgeon steak with potatoes, sliced vegetables, drink).

14:00-16:00 Tour of the sturgeon farm.

This sturgeon farm is one of the four largest enterprises for the cultivation of sturgeon fish in the Astrakhan region.

The farm has 40 pools for growing sturgeon from eggs to fry and 180 cages for growing fish in the river, as well as its own breeding herd of sturgeon, beluga, sterlet and bester!

At the sturgeon farm, you will see the entire process of reproduction and cultivation of sturgeon, sterlet, beluga and bester, and you can also participate in the process of feeding sturgeons.

You will be told about the process of obtaining caviar in vivo, as well as about the intricacies of keeping juveniles in pools.

Free time on the farm. There is an equipped swimming area.

On the territory of the farm there is a company store where you can buy farm products at below-market prices (with a full package of documents): hot and cold smoked sturgeon, balyk and black caviar, hot and cold smoked catfish, dried roach, bream, pike caviar, various canned fish, preserves, fresh fish and more; souvenirs with symbols of the Astrakhan region and the sturgeon farm.

    16:00 Departure to Astrakhan.

    17:00-20:00 Sightseeing tour of Astrakhan.

You will find beautiful central streets of the city and a walk through the White City — this is the oldest district of Russian Astrakhan with the Kremlin, which can be called an open-air museum without exaggeration.

You will walk along Lenin Square, see Swan Lake, the Triumphal Arch and the Alley of glory of the heroes of the Astrakhan land, admire the majestic monument to Emperor Peter I, walk along Petrovskaya Embankment overlooking the Volga and see old houses on one of the oldest Astrakhan streets.

The walk will end in the Astrakhan Kremlin.

The main decoration of the city and the constant object of tourists' visits is a unique architectural ensemble, a monument of military engineering art of the second half of the XVI century — the Astrakhan Kremlin.

In 1947, the Astrakhan Kremlin was included in the list of architectural and historical monuments of national importance and placed under state protection.

We will also definitely stop by the Astrakhan Fish Market, a very colorful place where you can buy fish for every taste and just feel the atmosphere of this port city, where oriental bazaars have been noisy for centuries, and merchants were one of the main strata of the population.

20:00 Dinner at the fish restaurant (complex).

21:00 Transfer to the hotel, check-in, free time.
