Itinerary

Day 1 - Astrakhan City Sightseeing Tour
Group meeting at 12:00 at the hotel.
After leaving our belongings at the hotel, we will begin exploring the city with a visit to the Astrakhan Museum.
Here we will see two of the most interesting expositions.
The first one is dedicated to one of the main riches of the Astrakhan region – the fish resources of the Volga-Caspian basin.
The second one contains a unique collection of the Astrakhan Museum-Reserve and is called "Gold of the Nomads".
These are unique examples of ancient art that originate from burials discovered on the territory of the Northern Caspian region.
Most of the exhibits are priceless pieces of jewelry, which are the pride of the museum collection.
After the museum, we will have lunch and a sightseeing walking tour of Astrakhan. We will take a walk around the Kremlin, find out why this particular place was chosen for its construction, and also find out what it looked like 390 years ago.
In the evening, we have dinner together and get acquainted.

Day 2 - Astrakhan Nature Reserve
Today we are going to the Astrakhan Nature Reserve.
Our way lies through two ferries, and after arriving at the cordon, we put on life jackets and take a 30-minute trimaran ride along the channels to the Newfound Delta hiking trail.
After an hour-long walk along the trail, we go out to the observation deck. We are surrounded by blooming lotuses: It's an unforgettable sight!
We take a lot of great shots and once again take trimarans along the channels to Avandelta "Where the Volga and the Caspian meet."
Here, from the observation tower, we will observe birds: white-tailed eagles, herons, swans, pelicans, cormorants.
Upon returning to the cordon, a hot lunch awaits us.
Then we return to Astrakhan.
In the evening, according to the program, free time and dinner.

Day 3 - A tasting tour of the melon field. Sturgeon Farm
There are several interesting excursions waiting for us today.
To begin with, we are going on a tasting tour to the melon field.
Here we will learn how watermelons, melons, pumpkins, zucchini grow, what are the secrets of crop care, what colors of watermelon pulp our breeders have bred and how they turn out to be different from the usual red.
Why shouldn't you grow square, triangular and other non-standard shaped watermelons?
Which is healthier: melon or watermelon, pumpkin or carrot? During the tour we will get answers to all these questions.
Russian Russian sturgeon, Siberian sturgeon, and a hybrid of Russian-Siberian sturgeon, beluga, sevryuga, and bester, will be seen at the sturgeon farm after the melon.
We will learn about the peculiarities of growing these fish and obtaining caviar, after which we will have a royal dinner.
But that's not all! In the evening we will go to the salt lakes and the Big Brother dune.

Day 4 - Sarai-Batu, Bolshoe Bogdo, Baskunchak
Today we will visit the capital of the Golden Horde, Sarai Batu, or rather, the place where the film "The Horde" was shot.
After walking through its streets, we will go to the salt lake, where you can swim if you wish, and Bolshoe Bogdo Mountain, from the top of which you can enjoy beautiful views of one of the most salt–saturated lakes in the world - Baskunchak.
80% of Russian salt is mined here, and scientists estimate that its reserves will last for another 4,000 years.
There are deposits of medicinal clays on the lake shore; it is believed that even the air on the lake is curative, as it has a high content of bromine and phytoncides.
We will return to the hotel late today (around 01:00).

Day 5 - Excursion to the lotus fields in the Volga delta. Master class
In the morning, after breakfast, we take the bus and go on an excursion to the lotus fields in the Volga Delta.
After the tour, we will have a master class on cooking Astrakhan soup and free time at the recreation center.
Return to Astrakhan in the evening.

Meals: breakfast, lunch.
Day 6 - Cancellation of the tour
We're sleeping it off today, and if you want, you can go get souvenirs after breakfast.
Check-out from the hotel at 12:00.
We say goodbye to this hospitable land and to the band!
