Itinerary

Day 1 - Olkhon Island. Baikal brands
We will meet you at Irkutsk airport, where you will meet the guide and other members of the group.
Olkhon, the most mystical island of Lake Baikal, awaits us.
The center of shamanic lands, breathtaking locations and unbearably sensual energy.
On the way, the guide will tell you about the history of Siberia, while you watch its picturesque expanses from the window.
We will also stop at a roadside cafe to start a gastronomic tour of Baikal cuisine and taste buuz, a delicious national Buryat dish (not included in the price).
After crossing to the island, we will check you into a hotel in the village of Khuzhir and go for our first walk.
You will be greeted by some of the most famous iconic places in Olkhon: Shamanka Rock (Cape Burkhan), Sarai beach, 13 sacred pillars.
In addition to an exciting tour, you will be told about the life of residents far from the mainland.
And in the evening we will meet the Baikal sunset.
Check out the most spectacular sunset you have ever seen, because you are in one of the sunniest places on the globe!

Day 2 - Cape Khoboy
On the second day, we will reach the northern tip of the island, Cape Khoboy, to take a look at “big Baikal".
That's what they call its widest part.
From here you can enjoy a fascinating panoramic view of 80 km of frozen water, hummocks sparkling in the sun and rocky shores decorated with icy frills.
It is at this point that a feeling of unity with nature appears – you realize how small you are in the face of the elements.
Let's enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the fresh air and set off on our way back to visit some more beautiful and photogenic locations.
The road will be a separate adventure: we will ride on UAZ trucks.
Do not be surprised, this is the most convenient transport, given the passability of the Olkhon roads.
After returning to the hotel, we will share our impressions over a cup of herbal tea and enjoy the atmosphere of the Siberian winter.

Day 3 - Ogoy Island. Stupa of Enlightenment. Sandy Bay. P. Bolshoe Goloustnoe. Listvyanka
Exclusive impressions and unique shots of ice in all its guises are waiting for you today!
And we will move all day exclusively on ice.
To do this, we will choose a suitable transport – Hivus, a hovercraft.
We will drive along the island to its southern part.
It offers a stunning landscape: the water, hitting the coastal cliffs, created ice figures, grottos and caves – a real fairy tale “Frost" to embody.
Our next stop will be Ogoy Island.
Since 2005, it has been home to the eight-meter Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment.
You will take part in an exciting ritual: you need to walk around the building seven times to make your cherished wish come true.
Next, we move to the Sandy Bay.
In summer, the bay welcomes tourists with a paradisiacal golden beach and friendly lapping waves, but in winter there is also something to see here.
“Stilted” trees are a phenomenon that will surprise you.
Their trunks are majestically raised on high roots, swirled by centuries-old winds.
Then we will move to the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye.
In winter, the same ice with myriads of white bubbles appears here, which flaunts in many photographs of Lake Baikal.
We will definitely take a picture of an unusual natural phenomenon and go to the final destination of this day.
It will be the tourist village of Listvyanka, where we will stay at the hotel to relax after a busy trip.

Day 4 - Baikal dawn. Departure
You don't have to spend your last day solely on boring packing, we still have some surprises for you!
To be more precise, we have not shown you another attraction – Baikal dawn.
Bright, mesmerizing, with dozens of iridescences of saturated shades.
This is the one who will greet you this morning.
After that, there will be time for a delicious breakfast and final preparations.
This will be followed by a return to Irkutsk and the end of the program.

The Krestovaya Pad Hotel is located just 50 meters from the shore of Lake Baikal and offers scenic views. It offers a sun terrace and a sauna. Each room is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV.

The chalet-style rooms feature wooden paneling, a work desk, a minibar and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms.

It's important to know

So, clothes: the main rule is to dress in layers, like a pie. This will delay the release of heat and keep the cold out of your body.

A windproof hat, a hat with earflaps, or a combination of a hat + a jacket hood.
Buff or scarf (to protect the neck).
A warm down jacket that protects the lower back and will not blow in the wind.
Fleece jumper.
Thermal underwear designed for low activity at -25.
Warm ski / down pants, or a jumpsuit.
Wool socks + cotton (the principle of layers also works here).
Windproof gloves + mittens.

Footwear:

Boots with natural or artificial insulation, designed for -25 and below.
You can use: felt boots, boots, camus boots, ugg boots, moonwalkers, dutiki

Additionally:

Chemical heating pads / insoles for feet and hands (insoles and other heating elements containing charcoal must not be carried. Neither in the luggage, nor in the hand luggage. They will be seized, because coal is highly flammable).
Ice floats / ice shoes for smooth movement on slippery ice and hummocks.
Sunglasses are a must.
A sunscreen with a high degree of protection is a must.
The lipstick is hygienic.
