Itinerary

Day 1 - Listvyanka, Taltsy Museum, Baikal Museum
Meeting with the guide at 09:30 in the morning at the airport or at the railway station in Irkutsk.
Today we will have our first acquaintance with Lake Baikal.
We will go to the village of Listvyanka, on the way we will visit the museum of wooden architecture "Taltsy".
After a walk in the fresh air, we continue our way to Listvyanka.
Lunch.
Accommodation at the hotel.
After lunch, we will visit the Baikal Museum, where we will be told a lot of interesting things about the origin of the lake and its underwater world.
Here we will get acquainted with the charming Baikal seals.
After a flight and a busy day, we suggest you relax.
And the most active can climb the observation deck on the Chersky stone or walk along Listvyanka and meet the sunset.

Day 2 - Circum-Baikal Railway
Today we will have an exciting trip along the Circum-Baikal railway.
From Listvyanka, we will ferry to the port of Baikal, where we will board an excursion train.
Krugobaikalka is a unique railway, a monument of architecture and engineering, part of the Trans-Siberian Railway and one of the most beautiful places in the Baikal region.
On the way, the train will make several stops from 15 minutes to 1 hour so that we can walk among the tunnels and arches, as well as relax on the shore of Lake Baikal.
Arrival in Irkutsk at about 21 hours, transfer to the hotel, accommodation.
Meals included: breakfast and lunch.

Day 3 - Olkhon Island, Cape Burkhan
We continue our journey and today we are going to Olkhon Island (280 km from Irkutsk).
On the way, we will make a stop at a roadside cafe.
Arrival at the ferry crossing, where we will see the Small Baikal and the island itself for the first time.
After sailing by ferry through the strait, we get to Olkhon.
Accommodation in the village of Khuzhir, the tourist center of the island.
After a short rest, we will take a walk to the Shamanka rock.
This is a unique place that has a special energy and attraction.
After the walk, we return to the hotel for dinner.
Meals included: breakfast and dinner.

Day 4 - Cape Khoboy
We are starting to explore Olkhon and today we will drive through the northern part of the island.
Baikal expanses and breathtaking views await us.
Today we will walk on Cape Three Brothers and Hoboy, have lunch in nature and, of course, take a lot of beautiful photos.
It is on this tour that you can see how diverse the nature of the island is: sandy beaches, steppes and forests are replaced by cliffs and steep shores stretching into the distance.
After lunch, we will visit the Cape of Love.
In the evening (at 17-18 hours) we return to the hotel, have dinner.
Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 5 - Boat trip to Ogoy Island
We continue our journey!
Today we will take a boat trip around Lake Baikal.
First, we will take a ship through the Small Sea and arrive at the island of Ogoy.
A Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment has been installed on the island.
According to legend, you can walk around the stupa and make a wish that will definitely come true.
Then we will arrive on the mainland, in a picturesque bay covered with coniferous forest.
Here you can relax on the shore or take a walk to the spring.
Return to Olkhon in the evening.
Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 6 - Return to Irkutsk
Today we are completing our acquaintance with Lake Baikal.
In 6 days we visited the most popular locations and saw how different the lake is.
After breakfast, we will be transferred to Irkutsk (280 km, travel time about 6 hours).
The end of the program in the center of Irkutsk, arrival approximately from 16 to 19 o'clock (Kirov Square).

The Krestovaya Pad Hotel is located just 50 meters from the shore of Lake Baikal and offers scenic views. It offers a sun terrace and a sauna. Each room is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and a flat-screen TV.

The chalet-style rooms feature wooden paneling, a work desk, a minibar and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available in some rooms.

The colorful bar-restaurant serves European cuisine and a variety of Siberian dishes from the Baikal region. A rich menu is provided for breakfast.

Everything was perfectly organized, and the itinerary was very well planned – from transfers and accommodations to the excursions themselves. I especially enjoyed the trip along the Circum-Baikal Railway, Listvyanka, and the enchanting Olkhon Island. Plus, we were lucky with the weather: we encountered heavy rain only when leaving Irkutsk; the rest of the time was dry and sunny. Our guide Alexander was wonderful and attentive. We learned so many new things and even took a swim in Lake Baikal!
