We will meet you at Irkutsk airport and head to a restaurant in the city center for breakfast with a panoramic view.
Over breakfast, we'll celebrate our acquaintance and the beginning of our delicious, soulful journey to Lake Baikal with a glass of Prosecco. Hurray!
After a hearty breakfast, we will stroll through the historical part of Irkutsk and explore the city, accompanied by a local guide.
We won't walk for a long time: we alternate hiking with traveling in our minibus.
We will walk along the embankment of the Angara River, look at the 130th block with historical buildings, see the ancient Church of the Savior, the monument to Alexander III and the famous house of Europe.
And after that, let's go to lunch!
It will take place within the walls of a cozy mansion in the center of Irkutsk, where we will be able to plunge into the welcoming atmosphere of a noble house, enjoying the exquisite dishes of local cuisine.
Here, traditional Russian pickles are prepared in special oak barrels, cheeses are brewed in their own cheese factory, and seemingly familiar recipes are executed using elements of molecular cuisine technology.
For an aperitif, we will try an assortment of locally made artisanal cheeses, fragrant Baikal-style forest mushrooms and exquisite duck pate with dried fruits and onion marmalade.
As the main course, we will have juicy lamb baked with beetroot and gremolata, spicy greens with citrus notes.
The perfect match for the dishes will be a velvety, full-bodied red wine, emphasizing the richness of taste.
At the end of lunch, we will try the fabulous dessert "Samovar" — a gastronomic fantasy on the theme of Siberian nature. The delicate creamy mushroom mousse is complemented by blackcurrant ice cream with notes of juniper, elements of "melting moss" and crisp birch bark.
Dessert is accompanied by a tea ceremony — tea from a real samovar, which is 129 years old. All meals and drinks included in the program are already included in the price of the tour.
After lunch, we check into the Marriott Hotel, one of the best in Irkutsk.
It is located in the historical center: it is easy to walk to the Angara embankment, museums, the Irkutsk Drama Theater, old wooden houses and temples of the early 18th century.
According to our tradition, a bottle of sparkling wine with fruit will be waiting for you in the room.
Relax after a busy day and tune in for a vibrant gastronomic vacation!
Let's rest a bit and get ready for dinner! Tonight we will go to the culinary studio, where, under the strict guidance of the chef, we will prepare national dishes of Siberia and Buryatia.
An exciting gastronomic journey awaits us!
The program includes a salad with tender dried bear meat and crunchy pine nuts, fragrant Buryat bouzes and airy Siberian brushwood.
We will finish the meal with a cup of fragrant Altai tea with a distinctive Siberian flavor.
And to make the master class even more vivid and inspiring, we have prepared a special wine accompaniment — it will add to the mood.
After the master class, there will be a long-awaited tasting of cooked dishes.
In addition, an ensemble of national dances will join our evening.
The artists will teach us how to dance the Buryat Yekhor dance.
We have dinner, enjoy the results of our culinary creativity in a friendly atmosphere, exchange impressions, discover new flavor combinations and dance!
After such an eventful evening, we return to our hotel to relax and prepare for the continuation of the trip.
