Itinerary

Day 1 - Arshan
Meeting in Irkutsk at 10.00, at the airport at the information desk.
Departure to the village of Arshan.
You will drive along the Tunka loaches, which are famous for their pointed peaks.
Lunch on your own at a local cafe.
We recommend you to try Buryat cuisine.
After lunch, we will walk to the Buddhist datsan with stupas-suburgans, to the Arshan springs, climb to the waterfall along the Kyngarga mountain river (1.5 km).
Note: in case of being late for any reason, tourists catch up with the group on their own. We recommend arriving the day before the start of the tour!
Day 2 - Climbing the peak of Love
Today we will climb one of the most famous peaks of the Tunka Loaches – peak of Love 2124 m (takes about 4-6 hours).
We take a snack, tea or water (at least 1 liter per person), a blouse or jacket, a raincoat and hit the road.
Our road will pass through the taiga forest, which is replaced by rocks closer to the top.
At the top we relax, take pictures and admire the breathtaking panorama of mountains and forests.
Then we go down to the village of Arshan.
Day 3 - The village of Mondy
Transfer to the village of Mondy.
From the bridge over the White Irkut, we will go along the ancient trail to the Nuhu-Daban pass (about 2.8 km).
The trail passes through the famous rock with a hole.
This arch is considered a sacred “place of power".
According to tradition, an offering should be made here to the owner of the mountains.
According to legend, the hero Gesar Khan, in pursuit of a magical silver fox, paved the shortest path for himself by punching an arrow through a passage in a mountain wall that became an obstacle on his path.
That's how the sacred gate appeared.
Then a walk along the summer trail towards Munku-Sardyk (we do not climb the peak).
Be sure to take at least 1 liter of water with you.!
Return to Mondy.
Free time.
Day 4 - Baikalsk
We sit down in our seats and go to the hot springs in the village of Zhemchug (bathing is paid for independently).
Lunch at the cafe on your own.
We recommend you to try the famous big chebureks.
Departure to the city of Baikalsk.
We go up to the observation deck of the ski complex (the lift is paid on site).
We take panoramic photos from a bird's-eye view.
We will move to Irkutsk in the evening.
The Baikal ski Complex today consists of a network of certified trails and lifts, qualified instructors and ski patrol, rental of ski snowboard equipment and luggage storage, a sports shop, a guarded parking lot, a network of ski bars and restaurants.
Day 5 - The village of Bolshye Koty
In the morning we move to the pier.
Transfer by boat to the village of Bolshye Koty.
On this day, we already have to ride around the Hangar with access to the open Lake Baikal.
The beauty of the scenery will change very quickly and most spend all their time on a small deck.
Accommodation at an economy class recreation center with amenities on the floor or street.
A walk along the shore along the trail to a very picturesque point of the lake — Mount Skriper (6-7 hours).
The Skriper Rock is a large isolated mountain range composed of a rare rock on Lake Baikal — the Jurassic conglomerate.
At an altitude of 200 meters from the lake level, there is a cave in which an ancient human site has been discovered.
At first, the trail goes right along the shore with a magnificent view of the lake, and then goes into the forest and winding along the serpentine comes to an observation point.
The view from the top is amazing, breathtaking.
We will have lunch on the shore of Lake Baikal (we will throw in groceries), everyone will be able to prove themselves in helping and cooking food.
After lunch, return to the Big Cats.
Day 6 - Listvyanka. Departure
Fees.
In the late afternoon, transfer to the village of Listvyanka (with a large group, it is possible to move earlier).
We will visit the market, where people come all year round to buy fish.
You can buy yourself what you like, whether it's salted or smoked fish.
We recommend you to try cold and hot smoked omul!
Transfer to the foot of the mountain.
A short ascent to the observation point, which offers a picturesque view of Lake Baikal and the Angara River.
Descent and transfer to Irkutsk.
Transfer to the airport or to the railway station on your own.

It's important to know

rain cover — only for routes where the temperature is above zero;

thermos or plastic bottle;
have protective equipment against blood-sucking insect bites on routes (mainly on routes where the temperature does not drop below zero);
sunburn products (required in the mountains and traveling by water);
clothes;
underwear — at least 2-3 sets;
thermal underwear 1 piece;
trousers are lightweight, sporty, for daily wear, depending on the time of year;
jacket, fleece, etc. 1-2 pcs. (preferably made of modern materials);
storm suit – jacket + trousers. Availability is mandatory (In summer — protection from wind and rain. The jacket is better insulated with a hood (according to the time of the year. As a rule, it must be available in the mountains and on Lake Baikal. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture.);
plain socks (or trekking socks) — 2-4 pairs;
shoes (half-boots or sneakers. You can take slippers for the camp sites);
tracking sticks at the discretion of the participants;
personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, etc.);
