Itinerary

Day 1 - Group meeting. The Baikal Museum in the village of Listvyanka. Departure to the village of Slyudyanka
Meeting at Irkutsk airport at 10 a.m. near the information desk.
A trip to the Listvyanka Village Museum along the picturesque road that runs along the Angara River.
The museum is unique, it will tell you about the uniqueness of the lake and why it is still so clean.
On the ground floor you will visit the aquarium, where you will certainly want to see the Baikal Seal.
Lunch in Listvyanka (at your own expense).
We will visit the market, where people come all year round to buy fish.
You can buy yourself something that you like, whether it's salted or smoked fish.
We advise you to try cold and hot smoked omul.
Transfer to the village of Slyudyanka on the road among the mountains and exit to the observation point.
It offers a panoramic view of the Southern part of Lake Baikal.
Supper.
Overnight at the recreation center, 4-5-bed rooms with outdoor amenities.
Note: in case of delay for any reason, tourists catch up with the group on their own.

Day 2 - The beginning of the campaign. Ascent to the Hamar-Daban weather station
We have breakfast and start walking to the weather station on the Khamar-Daban ridge.
Everyone has personal belongings in their backpacks for 2-3 days (some of them can be left in the storage room at the recreation center), food and equipment.
The first 10 km. you can get there by car (if the group is large in two stages), the cost of renting a car is paid additionally.
The road will pass by a marble quarry (huge pieces of marble lie right on the road), then we will overcome several water crossings.
Lunch is a snack.
Then, on foot and with backpacks, we will go to the weather station along a picturesque trail.
If you want to go without a backpack and cargo, then you should warn us before the route so that we can hire you a horse or a porter for an additional fee (9 km on foot with a climb).
In the evening, we rest, have dinner and spend the night in tents (possibly at the recreation center for an additional fee. payment).
Meals included: breakfast, lunch snack, dinner.
Route duration: on foot ~ 27 km.

Day 3 - Climbing Chersky Peak. Heart Lake. Waterfalls of the Komkarnaya River
We have breakfast, take our jackets and a snack with us and start climbing Chersky Peak, where there will be an overview of Lake Heart.
At the beginning there will be a small serpentine, which we will overcome along the forest road.
At the same time, we will have an amazing panorama of the mountain peaks and the surroundings of the Khamar-Daban ridge, and then our route will go with the lowest climb.
On the saddle leading directly to the Peak, you can see how the transparent lake Heart is located below (after swimming in it, you need to make a wish, and it will come true).
Climbing to the top of Chersky Peak (2090 m), we will see picturesque views of the "Siberian Alps".
The way back lies along the same path, where you will return to the tree with offerings for local spirits with colored ribbons or pennies.
Lush vegetation, an abundance of flowers, makes this place truly beautiful.
Descent.
We have lunch (possibly dry rations) and for those who go to the waterfalls, descent to the Komkarnaya River, for those who are tired, descent to the base camp.
By the decision of the guide, or for those who still have a lot of strength, a walking tour to the waterfalls of the Komkarnaya River.
Amazing cascade of waterfalls — 14 pcs.
Each waterfall is unique and original in its own way.

Day 4 - Descent to the recreation center. Excursion to the Museum of minerals on request
Breakfast.
Descent along the trail (18 km to the recreation center).
Participants have personal belongings, equipment and snacks in their backpacks.
Lunch near the cafe area, which is located by the Slyudyanka River.
The water is clean, transparent and quenches thirst well.
Continuation of the descent (transport can be ordered in advance for an additional fee. payment to the base).
Return to the recreation center.
Sauna on request (payment on site).
Optional excursion to the private museum of minerals.
A unique museum!
It is located nearby, only 200 meters away.
The museum exhibits more than 10,000 samples from many deposits of the former USSR and from abroad.
But, of course, the main value is represented by magnificent samples of the Slyudyansk deposits.

Day 5 - Departure to Olkhon Island. Shamanka Rock Walk
We have breakfast and go on foot to the railway station.
Transfer early in the morning to Irkutsk by train along the scenic highway.
Arrival in Irkutsk.
Obtaining permission from the national park and products for the next part (takes about 1 hour).
Departure to Olkhon Island as part of the national team (MRS stop).
The road goes through the steppe expanses, where the Baikal Mountains can be seen in the distance.
On the way, we will have lunch at a cafe (payment on the spot).
Transfer to Olkhon is carried out by public ferry.
In the case of a huge traffic jam, after moving by ferry, we leave by another transport (usually to the UAZ).
Each participant carries out the ferry crossing with their own and group items on their own.
Accommodation at a recreation center with facilities on the street (bases of such a plan as Olkhon, As Houses, Coast of Hope, etc.).
An additional payment for 2 seats is made in advance.
A walk to the shore of Lake Baikal and Shamanka rock.
Dinner on your own at any cafe.

Day 6 - Sightseeing trip to Cape Hoboy
Breakfast.
Sightseeing tour of Olkhon by UAZ to Cape Khoboy.
Khoboy is a place of power, a holy place and just a "super" picturesque place in the north of Olkhon Island.
From the sea side, the rock looks like a fang and we will see it later, and it also bears a resemblance to the profile of a woman, as in ancient Greek galleys.
Lunch with Baikal fish soup (depends on the season and the availability of fish), it is very tasty and our tourists always talk about it with delight.
Also, if possible, we will visit three rocks — three Brothers, a rock where you can ask for children (they resemble a woman who lies on an island).
There are amazing views of Lake Baikal everywhere.

Day 7 - Free day or additional excursions. Caves in AYA Bay or a trip to Ogoy Island
Breakfast.
Excursions to choose from for an additional fee: caves, Sacred stupa, etc.
The entire list can be found at the database administrator.
Caves are a journey from early morning and for the whole day (waterproof suits, helmets are provided).
The caves are located in AYA Bay, where you will find music halls, mysterious footprints and of course a great mood.
The guides will tell you about the formation of caves and their features.
You will see how our ancestors used to live in ancient times.
You will test yourself in the labyrinths of the AYA-Private cave.
Reviews about visiting the caves are only positive.
After dining and relaxing, you will be able to feel the whole expanse of Lake Baikal, because it is here that the rocks break into the lake from a great height.
Even if you don't like caves, you should still go, as you will be surrounded by picturesque views of Lake Baikal.
It is especially beautiful in AYA Bay, while people descend into the caves, you can take great photos from the rocks.
Return to the recreation center.
Please note: as a rule, the return from the caves is late in the evening, and sometimes at night.
Sacred stupa – an excursion to the island of Ogoy, with a visit to the Buddhist stupa.
A Buddhist Stupa is a structure with a cult significance and means "support for offerings" in translation.
There are several thousand such stupas all over the world, but in our country there are only in Kalmykia.
There you will go through three stages, past, future and present, make one wish that will certainly come true.
In addition, an amazing view of the Small Sea, Olkhon Island, opens from the height of the island.

The tour provides accommodation at camp sites in the village. Slyudyanka and Olkhon Island in Economy rooms for 3-5 people (on-site amenities), as well as overnight stays in tourist tents for 3-4 people:

in the village. Slyudyanka (2 nights: 1st, 4th days) – recreation centers "Silver Spring", "Edelweiss", "Gennady's Place", "Zhigalov's Shelter" or recreation centers of the same category;
at the Khamar-Daban weather station (2 nights: 2nd, 3rd days) – tourist tents;

Double and single accommodation in tents and camp sites is not included in the price of the tour and is paid additionally when booking the tour.

Recreation center "Silver spring"

It is located in the town of Slyudyanka, on the southern shore of Lake Baikal. There is a wonderful forest nearby, the railway station is 4 km away, the bus station is 3.5 km away. There is a parking lot, a Playground, a wood-burning sauna, a solarium, a barbecue, a smokehouse.

Detached houses with a capacity from 2 to 6 people and the main building with apartment-type rooms of the "Junior Suite" and "Suite" classes are offered for accommodation. Economy class cabins operate in the summer. The total capacity is up to 80 people.

The interior of the houses is made in a rustic style, with a predominance of natural wood in the interior, each has a small equipped kitchen area.

In each room: beds, wardrobe, bedside tables, table and chairs, bedding and towels. In semi-comfortable summer houses: washbasin, cold water, toilet and shower on site. In well-maintained houses: washbasin, shower, toilet. In a two-storey 8-bed cottage: bedrooms for 8 beds, equipped kitchen, satellite TV, washbasin, shower, toilet.

Recreation center "Edelweiss"

It is located on the outskirts of Slyudyanka, near the trail to Chersky Peak, so it is convenient for tourists who want to relax and gain strength before hiking. The base has everything you need for recreation: warm rooms for overnight stays, places for tents, a sauna, picnic areas.

2, 3 and 5-bed uncomfortable rooms are offered for accommodation. In the rooms: single beds, table, benches, TV, bed linen for each guest. A rural toilet and a washbasin are located on site. There is no shower – a bathhouse.

To prepare meals on their own, guests can use the rental of barbecue equipment and a shared summer kitchen. There is a barbecue, firewood. The kitchen has a microwave oven, refrigerator, stove, dishes.

It is located in the town of Slyudyanka at the Zhigalov Private Mineralogical Museum. It offers houses of various price categories: a room for 2 people, a room for 5 people, a house for 5 people, two rooms for 14 people (wooden bunks), an attic for 20 people. The toilets are outside.

There is an equipped kitchen-dining room for self-catering. Products can be purchased from local residents (across the street). There is a sauna.

Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route – a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, a birth certificate for the child, a certificate from a therapist if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy, since besides them you will have to carry food (about 600—800g. per day per person) for the entire route and group equipment (tents, axes, boilers, etc.).
