Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Meeting in Irkutsk. Transfer to Olkhon Island

    Meeting at Irkutsk railway station (9:50 a.m. local time. Information about suburban trains. The guide's phone number will be sent).

    Departure to Olkhon Island as part of the national team (MRC stop).

    The road runs through the steppe expanses, where the Baikal Mountains are visible in the distance.

    On the way, we will have lunch at a cafe (payment is made on the spot).

    Transfer to Olkhon is carried out by public ferry.

    In case of a huge traffic jam, after moving by ferry, we leave by another means of transport (usually by UAZ).

    Each participant carries out the ferry crossing with their own and group items independently.

    Accommodation at the economy class recreation center (outdoor facilities).

    Today we need to put the necessary things in hermetic bags, and leave the rest at the base.

    Dinner at the base or cafe on your own.

    Meals: self-catering.

The tour provides accommodation at a campsite on Olkhon Island in Economy rooms for 3-5 people (on-site amenities), as well as overnight stays in tourist tents for 3-4 people.

On request, single and double occupancy is possible for an additional fee and subject to availability. Check the availability of camp sites and double tents when booking a tour.

Recreation center "Lada"

It is located on the island of Olkhon, in the forest part of the village. Khuzhir, a 20-minute walk from Cape Burkhan (Shamanka rock).

Two large comfortable two-storey guest houses receive tourists all year round and offer double and triple Economy rooms (facilities in a separate building on the territory).

The total capacity is up to 55 people. The rooms are equipped with everything you need: two single beds or one double bed, bedside table, mirror, carpets. Washbasin, toilet in a separate building on the territory.

In addition to residential buildings, there is a separate dining room on the territory of the base, where guests can taste authentic Siberian cuisine from a professional chef, a Russian sauna, a fireplace room and relaxation areas (gazebos).

Shamanka Recreation Center

It is located in the village of Khuzhir, on the island of Olkhon. There is a beach within walking distance. Sarai Bay and one of the nine shrines of Asia – Shamanka Rock. It offers a terrace, free Wi-Fi and free private parking.

The hotel offers 8 rooms with a capacity of up to 3 people from economy class. In the rooms: two single beds or one double bed, bedside tables, mirror.

On the territory of the recreation center there is a spacious dining room with 30 seats in a panoramic hall overlooking Lake Baikal. A continental breakfast and an a la carte breakfast are served every morning.

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  1. Passport (birth certificate for the child), compulsory medical insurance policy, certificate from a therapist if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).
