Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Walking to the base camp location

    Meeting at the railway station in Slyudyanka at 6-00 hours. Departure at 6-30 o'clock. 

    It is recommended to take tea in a thermos and sandwiches with you on the road. 

    Arrival at the beginning of the route is approximately at 12-00 o'clock. 

    Walking from the bridge over the Sredny Irkut river to the location of the base camp (about 2 hours). 

    Lunch (at your own expense).

    Setting up a camp and setting up tents. 

    Instruction and training in working with special equipment. 

    Supper.

    Acquaintance.

    The pedestrian crossing will take place along the Bely Irkut River (to have waterproof shoes), along picturesque canyons and cliffs. 

    Overnight in tents, so we recommend taking a comfort sleeping bag — 20 degrees or additionally take a down or sintepon blanket. Tents are 3-4 local. 

    Attention! The bus will leave exactly on time, so try not to be late.

The tour provides accommodation in three or four-person tents.

The surcharge for double occupancy is 500 rubles per person;

Tent camp 3 nights

Accommodation in tents is common, there is no gender separation, when making an application, be sure to clarify to the manager your wishes for accommodation in a tent (for example, if you have a married couple, you want to live alone and other basic wishes for settlement).

It's important to know

Personal climbing equipment

Equipment and accessories:
* Backpack for women with a volume of at least 70-80 liters, for men 80-90 liters.;
* Polyurethane mat;
* A plastic bag or a hermetic bag (inserted inside the backpack to protect against moisture) ;
* Headlamp;
* Sunglasses and sunscreen;
* Sleeping bag (comfort — 15, -20);
* Spoon, mug, knife;
* Matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging, a lighter.
* Individual first aid kit (with the necessary set of personal and specific medicines no more than 200 g by weight);
* Camera;
* Thermos or plastic bottle;
* Sunburn products (required in the mountains and traveling by water)
Clothes
* Underwear — at least 2-3 sets;
* Thermal underwear (winter set. Jacket + tights) — 1-2 pcs.;
* Sports trousers, for daily wear depending on the time of the year;
* T-shirt 1-2 pcs.
* Jacket, fleece, etc. for daily wear 1-2 pcs. (preferably made of modern windproof and waterproof materials);
* Down jacket + insulated trousers (As a rule, in the mountains at this time and on Lake Baikal should be mandatory. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture when interacting with snow).
* Socks (or trekking socks) — 2-4 pairs;
* Thermal socks or woolen (trekking, insulated) — at least 2 pairs;
* 2 pairs of shoes (for climbing – mountain climbing boots + trekking boots. Sneakers on request (for crossings, recreation centers, on trains, etc.)
* Shoe covers, flashlights – required (if not on trousers)
Note: The sun is active in the mountains during the day and snowmelt is possible, so shoes should have good water-repellent properties. (Rubber boots (in addition to boots) – at the discretion of the participants)
* Warm sports hat — 2 pcs.
* Personal hygiene products (toothbrush and toothpaste, toilet paper, etc.);
* Gloves -2 pairs. In winter and climbing – insulated gloves – 1 pair and very warm mittens – 1 pair;
Special equipment (on certain routes):
* Cats and an ice axe (usually included in the price);
Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route – a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, a birth certificate for the child, a certificate from a therapist if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy, since besides them you will have to carry food (about 600 —800g. per day per person) for the entire route and group equipment (tents, axes, boilers, etc..
