You will make an unforgettable ascent to the highest peak of Eastern Siberia — Munku-Sardyk. The border between Russia and Mongolia runs right along the top: step forward and you are in Mongolia, step back — in Russia.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Walking to the base camp location
Meeting at the railway station in Slyudyanka at 6-00 o'clock. Departure at 6-30 o'clock.
It is recommended to take tea in a thermos and sandwiches with you on the road.
Arrival at the beginning of the route is approximately at 12:00 o'clock.
Walking from the bridge over the Sredny Irkut river to the base camp (about 2 hours).
Lunch (at your own expense).
Setting up camp and setting up tents.
Instruction and training in working with special equipment.
Supper.
Acquaintance.
The pedestrian crossing will take place along the Bely Irkut River (with waterproof shoes), along picturesque canyons and cliffs.
We will spend the night in tents, so we recommend taking a comfort — 20 degree sleeping bag or additionally taking a down or sintepon blanket. Tents are 3-4 local.
Attention! The bus will leave on time, so try not to be late.

Day 2 - Ice Waterfall Climbing Training
After breakfast, we get ready and go to the ice waterfall.
Classes on ice, using cats and ice equipment.
During the lessons, you will learn how to use cats and an ice axe, as well as climb vertical ice obstacles.
Lunch.
We go out to the lake.
We have dinner as a snack.
We spend the night on the lake (at an altitude of 2,700 m).
Spending the night on the lake gives you an advantage when climbing.
Climbing will be more comfortable in terms of physical exertion.
It's especially beautiful on the lake at sunrise!
In addition, you will be able to recuperate at the lake on the way back.
Participants bring a tent (for 4 people), a sleeping bag and a mat to the lake.
And some groceries.
For those who have not made the ascent or just came to relax, there is a hike to Obzornaya Mountain.
Overnight at the base camp.
With good visibility, panoramic views of the Okinsky Plateau and the neighboring peaks of Mount Munku-Sardyk can be seen from Mount Obrazornaya.

Day 3 - Climbing Mount Munku – Sardyk
Breakfast at 6-00.
We start climbing Mount Munku-Sardyk (3491m).
The ascent is carried out in a bundle without things. The band goes all together in one moderate rhythm.
A snack at the top.
Keepsake photo on the background of Lake Khubsugul, which is located on the border with Mongolia.
Descent and rest on the lake.
Return to the base camp.
Supper. Rest.
For those who have not made the ascent, there is a walk to the ice stream, classes on icefalls.

Day 4 - Departure
Breakfast.
Descent to the bridge.
Lunch at a cafe on the way (self-paid).
If desired, we visit the hot springs (bathing is paid for independently).
Departure to Slyudyanka.
Arrival around 19:00 hours.
Self-catering in the city or booking upon prior request.

Accommodation in tents is common, there is no gender separation, when making an application, be sure to clarify to the manager your wishes for accommodation in a tent (for example, if you have a married couple, you want to live alone and other basic wishes for settlement).

It's important to know

Equipment and accessories:
* Backpack for women with a volume of at least 70-80 liters, for men 80-90 liters.;
* Polyurethane mat;
* A plastic bag or a hermetic bag (inserted inside the backpack to protect against moisture) ;
* Headlamp;
* Sunglasses and sunscreen;
* Sleeping bag (comfort — 15, -20);
* Spoon, mug, knife;
* Matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging, a lighter.
* Individual first aid kit (with the necessary set of personal and specific medicines no more than 200 g by weight);
* Camera;
* Thermos or plastic bottle;
* Sunburn products (required in the mountains and traveling by water)
Clothes
* Underwear — at least 2-3 sets;
* Thermal underwear (winter set. Jacket + tights) — 1-2 pcs.;
* Sports trousers, for daily wear depending on the time of the year;
* T-shirt 1-2 pcs.
* Jacket, fleece, etc. for daily wear 1-2 pcs. (preferably made of modern windproof and waterproof materials);
* Down jacket + insulated trousers (As a rule, in the mountains at this time and on Lake Baikal should be mandatory. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture when interacting with snow).
* Socks (or trekking socks) — 2-4 pairs;
* Thermal socks or woolen (trekking, insulated) — at least 2 pairs;
* 2 pairs of shoes (for climbing – mountain climbing boots + trekking boots. Sneakers on request (for crossings, recreation centers, on trains, etc.)
* Shoe covers, flashlights – required (if not on trousers)
Note: The sun is active in the mountains during the day and snowmelt is possible, so shoes should have good water-repellent properties. (Rubber boots (in addition to boots) – at the discretion of the participants)
* Warm sports hat — 2 pcs.
* Personal hygiene products (toothbrush and toothpaste, toilet paper, etc.);
* Gloves -2 pairs. In winter and climbing – insulated gloves – 1 pair and very warm mittens – 1 pair;
Special equipment (on certain routes):
* Cats and an ice axe (usually included in the price);
Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route – a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, a birth certificate for the child, a certificate from a therapist if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy, since besides them you will have to carry food (about 600 —800g. per day per person) for the entire route and group equipment (tents, axes, boilers, etc..
