Itinerary

Day 1 - Olkhon. Cape Burkhan
In the morning at 09:30 we will meet at the railway station or at the Irkutsk airport, then we will take a minibus to Olkhon Island.
After 4 hours, we will reach the village of MRS, where we will board the ferry.
We get to the island through the Olkhon Gate Strait.
Arrival and accommodation in the village of Khuzhir (according to the selected accommodation option).
After a short rest, we will have a walk to the Shamanka rock.
The rock has been considered sacred since ancient times and is one of the places of power on Lake Baikal.
In the evening, return to the base for dinner.
Meals included: dinner.

Day 2 - Cape Khoboy
Today we start exploring the island, we will go on a tour to Cape Khoboy, the northernmost point of Olkhon.
Along the way, we will stop at the most interesting places: the Peschanoe tract, Cape Sagaan-Khushun, Cape Khoboy, and Uzura Falls.
On Khoboy, the endless expanses of Lake Baikal will open up before you, which merge with the horizon.
The amazing beauty and power of these places will not leave you indifferent!
After a picnic at the edge of the forest, we will continue our journey to the peak of Love and the fall of Usura.
In the evening, return to the village of Khuzhir, dinner.
Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 3 - South of Olkhon Island
After breakfast, we set off on a trip to the southeastern part of the island.
This is a trip through the steppe part of the island, with a visit to secluded bays, a turquoise lagoon and a lake called the "Heart".
On hot days in July and August, bring swimsuits with you to swim.
We will also visit the rock complex, which is called the "Trident".
It offers a beautiful panorama of the south of the island and the Small Sea.
In the evening, return to the base for dinner.
Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 4 - Excursion to Ogoy Island
We continue our journey!
Today we will take a boat trip around Lake Baikal.
First, we will sail by ship across the Small Sea and arrive at Ogoy Island.
There is a Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment on the island.
According to legend, you can walk around the stupa and make a wish that will surely come true.
Next, we will arrive on the mainland, in a picturesque bay covered with coniferous forest.
Here you can relax on the shore or take a walk to the spring.
Return to Olkhon in the evening.
Meals included: breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner.

Day 5 - Free day
We have been actively traveling around Olkhon for several days now and getting to know Lake Baikal.
Today we offer you one free day to spend it on your own.
You can rent a bike to explore the island, go horseback riding, kayak or sapa.
Meals included: breakfast and dinner.

Day 6 - Departure
Breakfast.
Transfer to Irkutsk by buses and minibuses, the journey time is about 6 hours.
Stop at a roadside cafe (self-catering).
The program ends in Irkutsk (Kirov Square, estimated arrival 16-19 hours).

The standard tour option includes:

Hotel accommodation on Olkhon: 2-bed comfortable standard room.

It is located on the island of Olkhon in the picturesque area of the village of Khuzhir, 150 m from Lake Baikal. Due to the excellent location of the hotel, the most significant attractions of the island are within walking distance for tourists – Shamanka Rock and Sarai beach, as well as all the necessary infrastructure: cafes, shops, souvenir shops, etc.

The rooms are decorated in a rustic style and offer views of Lake Baikal, the beach and the coniferous forest. It offers a cafe with panoramic lake views and free Wi-Fi. The accommodation offers 2-bed Standard rooms (with shower and toilet in the room) and 2-3-bed Economy rooms (shower and toilet on the floor for 4 rooms).

The rooms are located in wooden buildings and are heated in winter (central heating), furnished with comfortable, cozy furniture.: two single beds or one double bed, desk, chairs, wardrobe, mirror, TV. The 3-bed rooms have an extra single bed.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Denis is an excellent guide—cheerful, sociable, and full of fascinating stories. Our driver was also very engaging, making the journey both informative and enjoyable. Now we’re eager to visit again in winter! The food at the hotel was basic, without any local flair, but I highly recommend the nearby café Barguzin. We walked a lot, so be sure to bring comfortable sneakers—ideally ones you don’t mind getting a bit worn. You don’t need to pack much; there are shops on the island. Towels for swimming in Lake Baikal are provided—just ask—but you’ll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste, as those aren’t available. We stayed in a room with all the necessary amenities, though toothbrushes and toothpaste weren’t included. And don’t miss visiting the deer farm—the deer are simply magical :D

I absolutely loved the tour!!! The organization was excellent—everything ran smoothly, and all the promised locations were visited. Despite the long drives in the UAZ-452 buses, there was no sense of fatigue, as everything was thoughtfully planned with well-timed stops and opportunities to explore on foot. Thank you for the countless unforgettable impressions and vivid emotions!!! The tour price was also very reasonable.
