The weather in September on Lake Baikal is characterized by sharp contrasts. Periods of very hot weather abruptly change to cold ones, with snow and strong gusty winds, and then good sunny weather returns.

In the first half of September, Indian summer can still stand with a temperature of about +20 degrees and the sun, and at the end of the month it gets colder sharply: up to +10 in the afternoon. In the evenings, cool winds are possible, cooling at night to 0... +3.

Air and railway tickets are not included in the price of the tour. You can purchase them yourself or contact us for help.

Insurance is not included in the tour program. If you wish, you can purchase insurance on the website of a Large Country without commission directly from insurance companies.

It is necessary to have an identity document with you. It is forbidden to transfer your documents confirming the right to travel to other persons.

Every tourist is obliged to:

• comply with the rules of nature protection and fire safety;
• observe your own safety measures and understand what responsibility the manager bears for you;
• take care of property in places of residence, on the bus: in case of breakdown or loss of hotel property (recreation center), rental property, etc., as well as in case of fire due to your fault, you bear all responsibility for the damage caused yourself;
• observe the rules of accommodation at the hotel (at the recreation center), do not break the silence after 23.00 h.;
• promptly inform the travel director or his deputy about the deterioration of health or injury;
• follow the safety rules on ice, avoid hypothermia. Keep in mind the low air temperature during this period.

We remind you:

• Check whether the points of stay under the program are included in the service area of the mobile operator you need at the offices of the relevant companies (MTS, beeline, megafon, etc.) before making the trip;
• It is not recommended to leave the hotel after 24 hours.;
• if you are a vegetarian or have strict restrictions on taking a particular food, you must inform us in advance to be able to coordinate a separate menu;
• There are no banks or ATMs on Olkhon Island, so take cash in advance;
• local time: Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude +5 hours from Moscow.

September is characterized by extremely low tick activity. But no one canceled caution and prudence: properly selected clothes, a set of repellents and timely regular inspection of all group members will help to avoid unpleasant moments.

The ban on industrial fishing of omul on Lake Baikal has been in effect since 2018, the official sale is very strictly controlled. But we have a lot of other delicious local fish – do not worry, the gastronomic component of the tour will definitely please you!

You will go to the island by speedboat, bypassing the ferry crossing. A ferry will take you from the island to the mainland. In order not to waste time in the queue, we have provided a composite transfer. One car takes you to the ferry, and another one already meets you on the mainland.

Depending on the desired level of the bath and its capacity, the cost ranges from 2500-8000 rubles / hour.

All federal mobile operators work on Lake Baikal (MTS, Megafon, Beeline, Tele 2, Iota), they have a slightly different coverage area, but in general you will be in stable communication most of the time (especially outside excursions). Wi-Fi and 3g/4G will be available in Irkutsk and Listvyanka, on Olkhon the mobile Internet does not have high speed, and is not always stable.

Of the mandatory expenses not included in the tour – 4 dinners (900-1600 rubles for a set dinner). The amount for souvenirs is at your discretion. There are ATMs in Listvyanka, but not on Olkhon.

Despite the fact that this is not a photo tour, there is quite enough time for photographing. All unscheduled stops must be coordinated with the guide and the group. Sunset or dawn filming is also not provided in the tour, but you can arrange transfers individually. an option.

A meeting with a shaman is possible. There are 2 types of shamans – showmen and true ones. Meeting with a representative of the first group – from 12,000 rubles per group. The meeting with the representative of the second group is formally free, each participant leaves the shaman as much money as he sees fit.

It is necessary to pre–purchase attributes for a meeting with a shaman - vodka, milk and firewood. The format of both group communication and individual conversation with the ceremony is possible. The meeting with the Shaman is negotiated before the tour or during the tour, the meeting place may change depending on the current location of the shaman.

The gathering of the group takes place at the airport, the recommended arrival time is before 09:30 local time.

The standard start time from the airport is 09:00 ± 15 minutes, if the guests arrive earlier, we leave earlier. If the guest arrived a day or two before the start of the tour, then we will pick him up from the hotel.
