Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Irkutsk – Tunka valley – village The Nile Desert

    We will meet at Irkutsk airport terminal No. 3 at 10.00 a.m. (You can have coffee and a snack in the neighboring terminal No. 2).

    Departure to the Tunka Valley.

    Along the way, you will see the beautiful peaks of the Eastern Sayan Mountains, many still have snow on them.

    The Eastern Sayan is a mountain system that stretches from Lake Baikal to the Yenisei, about 1000 km.

    Previously, it was assumed that it was the bottom of the ocean.

    Lunch at a cafe (self-paid).

    Arrival in the village of Nilova Pustyn (about 15:00).

    The main part of the village is occupied by the resort of the same name, which uses the Nile hot springs.

    We will stop near a mountain river.

    Distribution of products by participants.

    The participants are actively involved.

    We cook dinner together.

    In the evening – acquaintance, rest.

    We recommend that you arrive the day before the start of the tour. The products are distributed among the participants. Distribution of duty. In case of delay for any reason, tourists catch up with the group on their own.

It's important to know

Personal equipment you need for the tour
  1. Passport (birth certificate for the child), compulsory medical insurance policy, certificate from a therapist if there are chronic diseases (the tourist assumes responsibility for his health on the tour).
  2. A backpack for women with a volume of at least 70-80 liters, for men 80-90 liters.
  3. The mat is polyurethane.
  4. A plastic bag or a hermetic bag (inserted inside the backpack to protect it from moisture).
  5. The headlamp.
  6. Sunglasses.
  7. Sleeping bag – the temperature regime depends on the time of the year and the place of travel.
  8. A spoon, a mug, a knife.
  9. Rain cover is only for routes where the temperature is above freezing.
  10. Matches sealed in polyethylene or plastic packaging or a lighter.
  11. Individual first-aid kit (with the necessary set of personal medicines, no more than 200 gr. A roll of Band-Aid is required).
  12. Photo camera.
  13. A thermos or a plastic bottle.
  14. Protective equipment against bites of blood-sucking insects (mainly on routes where the temperature does not drop below zero).
  15. Sunburn products (required in the mountains and traveling on the water).
  16. Underwear - at least 2-3 sets.
  17. Thermal underwear (set, depending on the time of the year. Jacket + tights) - 1-2 pcs.
  18. Trousers are light, athletic, for daily wear, depending on the season.
  19. Jacket, fleece, etc. 1-2 pcs. (preferably made of modern materials).
  20. Storm suit – jacket + trousers. Availability is mandatory (In summer, protection from wind and rain. A jacket is better insulated with a hood (according to the time of the year). As a rule, it must be available in the mountains and on Lake Baikal. Trousers – protection from wind and moisture.
  21. Simple (or tracking) socks – 2-4 pairs.
  22. Wool socks (trekking, insulated) – at least 2 pairs.
  23. Shoes, 2 pairs, worn out – trekking boots and sneakers with thick soles or sneakers + rubber boots with a liner and a warm insole. During the day in the mountains, the sun is active and snowmelt is possible, so shoes should have good water-repellent properties.
  24. Light sneakers are optional (for traveling, recreation centers, on trains, etc.).
  25. Tracking sticks.
  26. Warm sports cap – 2 pieces (in summer, a cap with a visor + a beanie);
  27. Personal hygiene products (toothbrush and paste, toilet paper, etc.);
  28. Gloves in summer are a simple 2 pairs. In winter and for climbing – insulated gloves – 1 pair and very warm mittens – 1 pair.
