Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know Lake Baikal. Excursion to the Baikal Museum
We will meet at 10:00 a.m. near the Irkutsk airport information desk, transfer along the most famous Baikal highway to Listvyanka (guests get to the meeting place on their own, they do not pick up from the hotels).
The trip goes along the Angara River to its source. The village of Listvyanka (formerly Listvyanichny) appeared in 1828.
Visit to the Baikal Museum.
We will discover the world of the cleanest freshwater lake in the world, find out why Angara does not freeze, why one coast is rocky and the other is gentle, how many endemics there are, and of course everything about omul.
Then we will go to the fish market.
Lunch at a cafe in the village or restaurant (payment on the spot).
After lunch, we will climb the Chersky stone, which overlooks the Angara River and Lake Baikal.
At the request of the group, it is possible to organize an excursion to the museum of architecture "Taltsy" (additional payment).
Return to Irkutsk.
We check into the hotel, relax and have dinner on our own.
Note: In case of delay for any reason, tourists catch up with the group on their own. We recommend that you arrive the day before the start of the tour!

Day 2 - Free day. Additional excursions on request
Today is a free day, when buying a tour you can buy additional excursions, Sandy Bay, Tunka Valley.
We recommend that you take a trip on the transparent ice of Lake Baikal on a Khivus hovercraft.
We recommend taking dresses with you or dressing up in the brightest clothes to make unique shots of your winter stay on Lake Baikal.
Unforgettable feelings arise from skating on the ice of Lake Baikal, taking photos on the huge ice field of Lake Baikal and, of course, lunch on the ice.
You will learn what a Baikal kiss is!
The day will fly by unnoticed!
Return to the hotel in the evening.

Dinner at the hotel on your own.
Overnight at the hotel.
Also on this day, we can organize snowmobiling, dog sledding, and a visit to the Taltsy Museum.

Day 3 - Olkhon Island
Breakfast.
Transfer to Olkhon Island (departure time is reported the day before), the transfer is carried out as part of a team group for about 5-6 hours with the crossing of the Olkhon Gate.
On the way, we will see a completely different landscape, more steppe, different from the Baikal tract.
During the transfer, we have lunch at a roadside cafe (payment is at our own expense).
2 km from Lake Baikal, the Small Sea opens in front of us (according to the narrow sea).
Next is Olkhon Island (this is the largest island on Lake Baikal), which will open up in different colors of Baikal ice and many quaint bays.
Arrival in the village of Khuzhir.
Accommodation, dinner (additional charge) and a visit to the sacred place of the island – Shamanka Rock.
Shamanka Rock is one of the seven shrines of Asia.
Evening rest.

Day 4 - Cape Khoboy
Breakfast and we are preparing for a trip to the amazing Cape Khoboy with an inspection of the ice grotto and ice floes hanging from the rocks.
The stunning, very transparent ice of Lake Baikal is right under your feet, creating the feeling that you are walking on thin glass.
The ice on the rocks of the cape, the bizarre patterns of Baikal ice hiding grottos and caves are impressive.
This is a must-see!
On the tour you can see all the main landscapes of Olkhon, with a magnificent view of the small sea and Lake Baikal from the cape.
Cape Khoboy is a pillar—shaped rock that bears a pronounced resemblance to the profile of a woman's head with a bust.
The tour start time is specified by the administrator.
During the tour, lunch is served as a snack.
We have dinner at the cafe on our own.

Day 5 - Farewell to Lake Baikal and Olkhon Island
Today we say goodbye to Lake Baikal, to the sacred island and return to Irkutsk.
We're having breakfast and getting ready to leave.
Departure from Olkhon Island is carried out overland.
Lunch on the road (paid at your own expense).
Arrival in Irkutsk.
Arriving in Irkutsk, we check into a hotel, have dinner at any cafe in the city on our own, and walk around the city sightseeing.
We recommend visiting the 130 block.
The historical place of Irkutsk.
Cafes and restaurants are comfortably located there. Choose any one!
Additionally: It is possible to travel by Khivus boat on the ice from Olkhon to Listvyanka (booking and payment upon purchase of the tour).

Note: if special equipment is not included in the price of the tour, it can be rented from the company by informing your manager in advance. Equipment rental is only and strictly for all days of the tour. It is taken at the beginning of the tour and surrendered at the end. The cost per day of multiplication for all days, regardless of whether it was used or not, is non-refundable.

Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route: a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, and a birth certificate for the child.

The requirement for a set of "personal belongings" is nothing superfluous and heavy!

If you have extra things or a suitcase, then you decide on your own where to leave it (luggage storage). The organizers do not store things.

Rules of conduct

We do not recommend drinking alcoholic beverages before and during the tour. Tourists must follow the rules of personal safety, strictly follow the recommendations of the accompanying persons and not endanger their lives and the lives of others.

During the trip, it is necessary to take care of the equipment of hotels and catering facilities, vehicles, as well as natural, historical and cultural monuments.

Meeting of tourists

Upon arrival at the railway station/airport at the meeting point of the group, it is necessary to check in with a representative of the host party, who will indicate the location of the bus. At the place of accommodation, you will be presented with a program of stay for the entire period of service (the order of accommodation, meals, a list of excursions, the schedule of transport), as well as a program for the day of arrival. You should check with your tour guide the address of the accommodation and the number (type) of transport by which you can get to the accommodation.

Accommodation in hotels

Economy class sightseeing tours, therefore, are designed for tourists to stay in tourist-class hotels, however, all hotels offered for accommodation have the appropriate certificates and licenses confirming the right to provide hotel services.

Food

Meals on the routes are organized in cafes or restaurants that also have the appropriate certificates and licenses. Sometimes, based on the conditions of the route, lunch can be a dry ration.

Security during programs

Safety instructions are provided by the guides immediately before entering the active part of the excursions. It is necessary to comply with the requirements of the instructions and to exercise personal caution. From each point of the routes, you can get to settlements in the shortest possible time, almost everywhere there is a mobile connection. In case of minor injuries, bus drivers have a first aid kit.

Each participant of the tour can independently insure themselves before the trip.

Crossovers by off-road vehicles, buses and hovercraft

All crossings along Lake Baikal or across Lake Baikal are carried out on special transport, it is provided by the company on request. Regular buses also operate in the region, mainly departing from two places: from the bus station and from the city center. Minibuses are delivered from the forecourt to anywhere in the city, as well as to coastal settlements on Lake Baikal.
