Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The Talca Museum. The source of the Angara and the observation deck at the Shaman stone. Listvyanka

    Gathering a group:

    • airport – 8:00-8:30 inside the building at the exit to the city (opposite the baggage claim).
    • Railway station – 9:00-9:30 (entrance “Suburban ticket offices", inside the building at the exit to the city).

    After breakfast, we will go to Lake Baikal in Listvyanka. 

    The objects for visiting and acquaintance on this day will be the following: the architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy" – a unique collection of historical, architectural and ethnographic monuments of the XVII–XIX centuries. 

    The museum is located on the picturesque bank of the Angara River in the Taltsinsky tract, on the 47th kilometer of the Baikal tract. 

    The source of the Angara and the observation deck at the Shaman stone.

    The source of the Angara River is the widest and largest in the world (863 m). 

    The Shaman Stone is a surface projection of the Angara threshold. 

    In good weather, only its tip is visible above the water, but under the water at the mouth of the river lies a rocky massif, thanks to which the source of the Angara never freezes in winter.
