Itinerary

Day 1 - Listvyanka. Baikal Museum
Meeting at 10 o'clock at the airport near the information desk, boarding and transfer to Listvyanka.
Drive along the famous Baikal highway and get acquainted with Listvyanka.
Visit and excursion to the Baikal Museum.
You can attend the nerp show if you wish (you can pay for it yourself).
Baikal Limnological Museum – it houses a seal sanctuary, contains the most complete information about the nature of Lake Baikal.
11 large aquariums with a unique water supply and exchange system that draws water from a depth of 400 m.
Seal seals are kept in two separate combined aquariums.
The exposition "Diving to the bottom of Lake Baikal" is open.
After the museum, we will visit the local market, where you can taste local delicacies (smoked and dried fish).
We are located here in Listvyanka.
In the evening, there is an opportunity to take a longer walk along the Baikal embankment.
Snowmobiling or dog sledding can be arranged in advance at the office (to be booked in advance, with prepayment).

Day 2 - The Chersky Stone
After breakfast, we get ready and go to the Chersky observation mountain (optional, you can take a chairlift (extra charge).
The mountain offers views of the Angara River and Lake Baikal.
After the walk, choose an excursion (additional payment):
Excursion to the Museum of architecture "Taltsy".
Guided tour of the Circum-Baikal railway on an air cushion boat (according to the weather conditions on the lake).
The road was built at the beginning of the twentieth century and runs right along Lake Baikal. It is striking because the path is located near steep cliffs that descend directly into the lake. KBZHD is considered a unique historical and cultural complex! 39 tunnels, 16 stone galleries, 248 bridges and viaducts! And all this for 70 km!
Dog sledding or horseback riding can be arranged at the office in advance.

Day 3 - Sandy Bay
Today we have to make a super trip to the Sandy Bay with an inspection of the ice, rocky shores of the Baikal region.
After breakfast we go on a trip on the ice of Lake Baikal.
Our route begins from the village of Listvyanka to the most famous and very picturesque Sandy Bay, we will pass by the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye, where the indigenous Buryats lived.
We inspect the Bolshaya and Malaya Belfry rocks, or they are also called Grandma and Grandpa.
On a sightseeing tour of the bay, we take the most beautiful photos of transparent ice, hummocks, etc..
After exploring the bay, have a picnic on the ice of Lake Baikal.
Boarding at Khivus and moving to Bolshoe Goloustnoye.
Here we will stay at a campsite.
We relax, share our impressions, have dinner (payment is made on the spot).
Attention! Transfer by Hivus (hovercraft) is paid extra!

Day 4 - The village of Bolshoe Goloustnoe
Being in Bolshoy Goloustnoye, you can watch the sunrise and if you want to take beautiful photos of the sunrise, then you need to get up early.
At dawn, the ice plays with unique colors.
The beauty is mesmerizing!
After breakfast, we walk around Lake Baikal or go ice skating at the largest ice rink in the world.
We're going for a ride on Lake Baikal.
Unforgettable feelings of joy and admiration when you feel ice under your feet.
You can easily walk up to 10 or 20 km on skates without feeling tired at all.
If you don't know how to skate, then you can perfectly walk, feel the depth of Lake Baikal!
While skating, we will see the bottom of Lake Baikal through the ice, feeling as if we are standing on a glass floor.
After skiing, take a short walk through the interesting places of the village of Bolshoe Goloustnoye.
In the evening, we relax, share our impressions and have dinner together (payment is made on the spot).

Day 5 - Return to Irkutsk. Departure
After an early breakfast, we say goodbye to Lake Baikal, collect our luggage and return to Irkutsk.
Group transfer along the scenic highway.
Completion of the program.

It's important to know

Clothes: the main rule is to dress in layers, like a pie. This will delay the release of heat and prevent the cold from reaching your body.

a windproof hat, a hat with earflaps, or a combination of a hat + a hood of a jacket;
buff or scarf (to protect the neck);
a warm down jacket that protects the lower back and will not be blown in the wind;
fleece jumper;
thermal underwear designed for low activity in -25;
warm ski / down trousers or overalls;
wool socks + cotton (the principle of layers also works here);
windproof gloves + mittens.

Footwear:

Boots with natural or artificial insulation, designed for -25 and below.
You can use: felt boots, boots, camuses, ugg boots, moonwalkers, dutiki

Additionally:

chemical warmers / insoles for feet and hands;
ice slides / ice shoes for smooth movement on slippery ice and hummocks;
sunglasses;
sunscreen with a high degree of protection;
lipstick is hygienic;
Powerbank (for a phone that is quickly discharged in the cold);

Recommended:

thermos (for hot herbal tea with honey and lemon, to maintain immunity and warmth);
shoe dryers;
lantern;
knee pads (for those who like to photograph reflections, ice floes and cracks).

Important! It is mandatory to have the following documents on the entire route – a passport, a compulsory medical insurance policy, and a birth certificate for the child.
