Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know Irkutsk
Meeting at 09:30 with a guide at the airport or train station, acquaintance.
Departure for a sightseeing tour of the city.
Irkutsk is a merchant city with an interesting history, in 2021 it turned 360 years old.
We will visit the city's founding site, the Angara River embankment, the Moscow Gate, and the historical quarter.
After the tour, accommodation in hotels.
Free time. You can visit the Decembrist Museum and the nerpinary on your own.
Food: independently at your own expense.

Day 2 - Circum-Baikal Railway
Early in the morning we go on an excursion "Circum-Baikal Railway".
First, we take the bus to the village of Listvyanka (there is no time to explore the village itself).
From Listvyanka, we ferry to the Port of Baikal, where we board the Circum-Baikal Express tourist train.
At 11 o'clock we set off on a journey along the old railway.
KBZHD is called the "golden buckle" of the Russian steel belt, it was built back in tsarist times and is rightfully the most beautiful and most expensive railway in Russia.
You will see unique architectural structures, tunnels and stone galleries and, of course, incomparable views of Lake Baikal. During the tour, there are supposed to be stops where you can walk through the KBZHD tunnel with a flashlight (personal).
Arrival in Irkutsk late in the evening.
Transfer to the hotels.
Meals: breakfast and lunch are included in the price of the tour. Dinner is self-paid.

Day 3 - Olkhon Island
In the morning we take minibuses to Olkhon, the largest and most beautiful island of Lake Baikal.
The journey time will take 5-6 hours.
After sailing by ferry through the Olkhonsky Gate Strait, we get to the island.
Another 35 km away, and we are on the spot – in the village of Khuzhir – this is the tourist capital of the island.
Accommodation at the hotel.
In the evening, a walking tour to the Shamanka rock, which is the hallmark of Olkhon.
Meals: breakfast and dinner. Lunch is paid for independently.

Day 4 - Excursion to Cape Khoboy
We have breakfast and are going on an excursion.
Today you will have a trip to the northernmost part of the island – Cape Hoboy.
The tour will allow you to see unique natural landscapes: sand dunes and stilt trees, white marble cliffs and steep shores.
Once on Khoboy, you will understand how big and beautiful Lake Baikal is, because there will be endless expanses of water around you that merge with the horizon.
Khoboy has been revered by locals since ancient times and is considered a holy place, so you should not take any objects, move stones and shout loudly here.
After a delicious and satisfying lunch, we go to Cape Shunte or, as it is popularly called, "Cape of Love".
The guide will tell you where this name came from.
Return to the base.
Supper.

Day 5 - A water trip to O. Ogoy and holy springs
Breakfast.
Today you will have a boat trip along the route "Healing springs – Ogoy Island".
After sailing through the Small Sea, the ship arrives at the picturesque where there is a Silver spring with healing water.
After drinking the healing water and having a delicious lunch, we go further to the island of Ogoy.
At Ogoe you will touch the Buddhist shrine – the Stupa of Enlightenment.
The stupa is dedicated to Dakini Tromo Nagmo, the Buddhist goddess, which suppresses all negative manifestations around the world.
Here you can make a wish and walk around the Stupa clockwise three times – according to legend, everything you have planned should come true.
Return to the base.
Supper.

Day 6 - Rest on the shore of Lake Baikal
You have a free day today – plan it yourself.
Here are some options for your vacation on Lake Baikal:
tour to the southern part of the island. We promise you will be amazed at how many surprises the seemingly monotonous steppe hides in itself;
fishing on Lake Baikal. Experienced fishermen will tell you the local ways and tricks of fishing;
cycling around Olkhon, catamaran riding, ATV rental and much more;
visit to the museum of local lore, a trip to the ethno-complex “Buryat village".
These excursions are paid for independently.
Meals: breakfast, dinner are included in the price of the tour. Lunch is paid for independently.

Day 7 - Return to Irkutsk
Breakfast.
Transfer to Irkutsk by buses and minibuses, the journey time is about 6 hours.
Stop at a roadside cafe (self-catering).
The end of the program in Irkutsk (approximate arrival from 16 to 19 o'clock, Kirov Square).
Meals: breakfast is included in the price of the tour. Lunch and dinner are paid for independently.
