Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Meeting with a shaman, visiting an exhibition of sculptures. Baikal kiss and lunch on ice

Gathering of the group at Irkutsk airport at 08:30-09:00.

If you arrive in advance, please let us know. We'll pick you up from your hotel.

Festive breakfast in the restaurant. We rest a little after the flight and get to know each other.

We are going to travel to the middle part of Lake Baikal — 250 km in jeeps, which will comfortably take us to the most impressive places on the coast.

And before a long trip, we will have a delicious breakfast not just in a beautiful restaurant, but in a real enoteca, where we will treat ourselves to sparkling wine and touch art.

There is an exhibition of sculptures by the famous sculptor Dasha Namdakov.

A unique collection of a unique author — his creations have been seen by the lands of London, Moscow, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Hong Kong. The indigenous inhabitants of the Baikal region are Buryats. A nomadic people engaged in breeding sheep, horses, and cattle.

The religion is shamanism. It is a connection with nature, with one's ancestors. Shamans can enter a trance-like state and read information from space, travel to parallel worlds to find the answer to a question.

Today we will meet with an active shaman. Let's hold a ceremony for good luck and well-being, touch the secrets of the universe.

We continue our journey to Lake Baikal, ahead are the Tazheran steppes! Baikal winds are blowing here, marble rock formations resemble bizarre animals or sleeping dragons. Plush mountains are covered with a light snow-white haze.

These places are hundreds of millions of years old, and they have still preserved the pristine beauty and uniqueness of the landscapes. The Baikal ice is very close — we descend into the bay and take the first steps along the crystal blanket.

While we are enjoying the beauties and trying the "Baikal kiss", a hot lunch on ice will be prepared for us.

We bask in Baikal fish soup, delicious snacks, local tinctures and tea from the samovar.

Arrival at the best hotel on the Small Sea, accommodation in rooms with a view of Lake Baikal.

Dinner at the hotel from the chef: we enjoy the delights of Siberian cuisine in a cozy room with a fireplace.
