Itinerary

Day 1 - The mysterious Olkhon
Guided tours in the tour (priority) can be rearranged by day without changing the volume and quality of services provided.
Gathering of the group at Irkutsk airport from 9:00 to 10:00 (local time).
Transfer Irkutsk –
MPS.
On the way, we will make a stop in Ust-Orda.
We will get acquainted with the traditions and customs of the local population, visit the ethnographic museum, the datsan.
Lunch at a cafe.
Getting to know the national Buryat cuisine.
Ferry crossing the Olkhon Gate Strait.
A short transfer to the central village of Khuzhir.
Accommodation at the hotel.
Walk to Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan).
Photos will not be able to convey all the magic of Olkhon, which can be felt only by visiting here.
Shamans all over the World consider this place sacred.
Dinner at a cafe at your own expense.

Day 2 - Cape Khoboy
The tour “Journey to the ends of the Earth!” (designed for the whole day, lunch included).
Cape Khoboy is the northernmost cape of the island of Olkhon.
To get to the north of the island, you need to overcome: a steppe landscape with incredible ascents and descents, very similar to a roller coaster, a sandy tract and an impassable taiga.
During the trip, you will be able to see the face of Father Baikal on the slopes of the Primorsky Ridge, admire the three brothers, whose silhouettes were immortalized in stone by a mighty and just father, visit the edge of the Earth, make a wish on the rock of Love, and also taste fish soup prepared according to an ancient Buryat recipe.
You will learn a lot about Lake Baikal, hear fascinating legends, get acquainted with the traditions and customs of the locals.
The route is within the power of everyone, but the impressions will remain the most vivid and, of course, unforgettable!

Day 3 - Olkhon – Buguldeika
Transfer Olkhon – Buguldeika (a small Buryat village at the mouth of the Buguldeika river of the same name).
The transfer takes about 3-4 hours.
Today we have to pack kayaks and prepare for the upcoming trip.
Accommodation: camping on the shore of Lake Baikal;
Meals included: breakfast, dinner.
Day 4 - Kayaking
Safety instructions.
We learn to drive a kayak, work in a crew, and do not forget to admire the beauty of Lake Baikal.
To our right, the Primorsky Ridge appeared in all its splendor.
During the trip, he will surprise us with his rocky cliffs, taiga slopes, and unforgettable landscapes.
We will stay overnight in a picturesque place (depends on the group's capabilities, weather conditions).

Day 5 - Cape Holey
We continue the journey.
We will see Cape Holey, famous for its bizarre arch, under which you can go by kayak.
Today we arrive at an amazing place – Sandy Bay!
Like two watchtowers, the bay is framed by pyramidal rocks – the Small and Large bell towers.
Accommodation: camping on the shore of Lake Baikal;
Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Day 6 - Climbing the Review Cliff
Ascent to the Obzor Rock (2-2.5 hours), from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the perfectly correct semi-oval of the bay!
A picturesque sandy beach is at our disposal.
There are still famous "stilted" trees in Peschanaya Bay, but, unfortunately, they are no longer the largest specimens.

Day 7 - Arrival in Bolshoe Goloustnoe
We continue our journey through Lake Baikal.
4 km away. from the Small Bell Tower there is a rock Cormorant stone, shaped like a watchtower, on which proud birds, cormorants, who returned to Baikal not so long ago, keep their post.
Our path passes by her.
Today we arrive in Bolshoe Goloustnoe.
Camping on the shore of Lake Baikal.
In the evening, you can order a sauna (paid separately).

Day 8 - A walk around the neighborhood
Climb to the observation peak.
Sightseeing of local attractions.
Visit St. Nicholas Church with an amazing renaissance history.
The dramatic story of the rescue of the icon of St. Nicholas of Myra, carefully preserved under the arches of the sacred domes, is especially striking.
A walk (on foot, horseback at the request of tourists) along a picturesque forest path to a lake hidden in the depths of the taiga forest, which is filled with spring water with healing properties only once every 4 years.
The rest of the time, the lake remains waterless, and looks more like a clearing dotted with meadow flowers.
Goloustnoye – Irkutsk transfer.
Accommodation: hotel "Victoria"/ "Rus"/ "Air Harbor", standard room, double occupancy;

Day 9 - Departure
Breakfast.
Self-service transfer to the airport.

Everything was impeccably organized, with no hiccups at all. The coordination was seamless. Our group consisted entirely of travelers aged 50 and above, but that didn’t stop us from exploring the most remote and stunning spots around Lake Baikal. We were fortunate to have the wonderful guide Irina Perlova, who made it all possible. Many thanks to the tour operator for an unforgettable experience.
