Itinerary

Day 1 - To the Baikal coast
Excursions in the tour (order) can be rearranged by day without changing the volume and quality of services provided.
Gathering of the group at the airport or at the Irkutsk train station in the morning (the time and place are indicated in the itinerary).
Transfer Irkutsk-Sakhyurt.
Lunch at the yurt cafe.
Getting to know the national Buryat cuisine.
Crossing the Olkhon Gate Strait by ferry.
A small transfer to the picturesque and surprisingly cozy bay.
Overnight on the shore of Lake Baikal in tents (accommodation in yurts is possible, it is discussed additionally).

Day 2 - The first day of rafting
Assembling kayaks.
Safety instructions.
Basics of kayak management.
Today is the first day of rafting.
If possible (depending on the weather conditions and the capabilities of the group), we will go to the largest island in the Small Sea – Ogoy.
Ogoy Island is famous for the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment.
Lunch (maybe a snack).
Overnight in the Shchebetsky Bay in tents.
Inspection of the area.

Day 3 - Across Hanhoi Lake
After breakfast, we continue the rafting.
The path runs along the cliffs with picturesque grottoes, which, under favorable weather conditions, can be reached by kayaking.
We will pass the Hankhoi Lake, separated from the Small Sea by a sand spit.
We will stay overnight in an amazingly beautiful bay.

Day 4 - To Sarai Bay
Today is the final day of the rafting.
We will walk along the Khuzhir Bay and circumnavigate the famous Shamanka rock (Cape Burkhan), covered with secrets and legends, and stop for the night in the Sarai Bay.

Day 5 - Olkhon Island Bike Tour
A bike ride through the expanses of Olkhon Island.
The route depends on the capabilities of the group.
Lunch at the cafe at your own expense.
In the evening, it is possible to order a sauna (paid separately).

Day 6 - Excursion "Journey to the ends of the Earth!"
Cape Khoboy is the northernmost cape of Olkhon Island.
That's where our path lies.
To get to the north of the island, you need to overcome: a steppe landscape with incredible ascents and descents, very similar to a roller coaster, a sandy tract and an impassable taiga.
During the trip, you will be able to see the face of Father Baikal on the slopes of the Primorsky Ridge, admire the three brothers, whose silhouettes were immortalized in stone by a mighty and just father, visit the edge of the Earth, make a wish on the rock of Love, and also taste fish soup prepared according to an ancient Buryat recipe.
You will learn a lot about Lake Baikal, hear fascinating legends, get acquainted with the traditions and customs of local residents.
Everyone can do the route, but the impressions will remain the most vivid and, of course, unforgettable!

Day 7 - Excursion "Caves of the Tazheran steppes"
The program includes a visit to Bolshaya Baidinskaya Cave, Aya cave, lunch on a rock with stunning views of Lake Baikal, a visit to the Vologda Trap cave.

The cave is an unusual place.
Caves are often called gates to other worlds.
These dungeons, hidden from human eyes, hold the secrets of the past, the history of the planet Earth.
Mysterious labyrinths, absolute darkness and silence.

Tourists are provided with equipment for visiting caves: protective suits, helmets, flashlights, gloves.

We are not going back to Olkhon anymore.
After the tour ends, transfer to Irkutsk.
Accommodation at the hotel, dinner.

A hermetic bag is used instead of a backpack.
