Day 1 - Arrival in Irkutsk. The road to Lake Baikal – Listvyanka village
You will be greeted by a comfortable transfer, and the path lies along the Baikal Highway– a scenic road connecting Irkutsk with the closest shores of the largest lake on the planet.
Each turn opens up more and more new views: pine forests, snow-capped hills and in the distance the shimmering blue of Lake Baikal, as if beckoning.
After breakfast in Irkutsk, we set off to explore the tourist village on Lake Baikal – Listvyanka.
Listvyanka is the closest place to Irkutsk where you can see the sacred lake.
The road to Listvyanka runs along the picturesque Baikal highway, popularly called "Baikal Rublevka" – this is where the elite suburban real estate of Irkutsk is located.
The track is comfortable and beautiful: There are trees on the sides, as a rule, there are no traffic jams.
The village is located about 70 km away from Irkutsk.
After about an hour of travel, you can already see Lake Baikal!
But first, on the way to Listvyanka, you will stop at the Taltsy Open-air museum.
Taltsy is an architectural and ethnographic museum, which contains examples of wooden architecture of the past centuries.
It is located on the picturesque shore of the Angara River surrounded by the Siberian forest, which gives it an authentic look and an authentic historical atmosphere.
The guide will conduct an exciting tour, after which you will go further to Listvyanka.
On the way, you will see the legendary Shaman Stone, located at the source of the Angara River, the only one flowing out of Lake Baikal. A beautiful legend is associated with it, which the guide will tell you about.
Next, you will climb the cable car, which will take you to the top of the Chersky Stone.
Climbing to the observation deck, which is located at an altitude of 725 meters, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake, the source of the Angara, Shaman Stone, Listvyanka and even the Baikal Observatory.
After that, you will find a road to the village of Listvyanka, where you will walk along the shore of Lake Baikal and take a look at the fish market.
This day will end in Irkutsk!

Day 2 - The road to Olkhon

Day 3 - The Southern Islands of the Small Sea
We will go on a trip along the southern part of the island of Olkhon and the islands of the Small Sea.
You will see stunning landscapes of frozen water splashes in grottos and caves, where icicles and scales have formed bizarre shapes.
And you will see the very Tail of the Dragon.
This sight will leave an indelible impression!
We will definitely visit Ogoy Island, one of the most popular tourist destinations on Lake Baikal.
Here is the sacred Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment, which many consider to be a source of spiritual energy.

Day 4 - We're going east! Cape Khoboy. Transfer by car across the ice to Ust-Barguzin
An exciting ride on the legendary Baikal ice awaits you.
You will see stunning landscapes that open from this unique perspective.
The surrounding nature, covered with snow and ice, creates a magical atmosphere.
You will visit the northern part of Olkhon, where you can enjoy the view of the coastal cliffs and the marble walls of Cape Sagan-Khushun.
But the most memorable impression will remain from Cape Khoboy.
Its rocky shores, resembling fangs, create a truly fantastic view.
From Cape Khoboy by transport, you will begin the transition!
You will cross Lake Baikal on ice from the Irkutsk region to the Republic of Buryatia.
At the end of the crossing, you will have a stop at the ice station of the family camp, you will be warmly welcomed and will be invited to try zuborvka, Siberian calvados and kedrovka.
After that, there's a hot tub and a real ice bath with a font.
After the sauna, a real Baikal lunch will be waiting for you in the warm refectory – sagudai from Baikal fish, real fish soup, Buryat buuzes and fried fish.
After such an eventful day filled with beauty and tastes, you will be taken to Ust-Barguzin to check into a guest house.

Day 6 - The road to Ulan-Ude. Ivolginsky Datsan tour
After breakfast, you will set off on your way back along the picturesque Baikal coast – the road leads to Ulan-Ude, the capital of the Republic of Buryatia.
The path runs along the majestic lake, offering winter views of Lake Baikal before returning to the city.
Ulan-Ude is located at the confluence of two rivers Selenga and Uda.
It is a city where Buddhist spirituality, shamanic traditions and Russian culture are intertwined, creating a unique atmosphere of harmony and historical depth.
The main event of the day is a trip to Ivolginsky Datsan, the main Buddhist center of Russia and the spiritual heart of Buryatia.
Surrounded by hills and forests, the datsan impresses with its peaceful aura.
Here, in the temple of Hambo Lama Itigelov, is the incorruptible body of the great teacher, who went into samadhi in 1927.
Many pilgrims and travelers come here to pay their respects and make a sincere request.
They say that if a prayer comes from the very heart, it will surely be heard.
After the tour, you will have time to visit the souvenir shops at the datsan.
