Let's learn how to drive horses in a sleigh and ride through the endless snowy expanses.

An ancient village

We will learn about the history of the village, hear about holidays and customs, and how the villagers preserve their flavor.

Culinary evening

We will prepare homemade dumplings from rustic products and try herbal tea with Bashkir honey and balms.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Check-in at the campsite. Training and horseback riding
There are two possible ways to assemble a group on the tour.
Option 1: independent check-in at the campsite (Kaga village): from 12 to 14:00 local time (the difference from Moscow time is +2 hours) on the day of arrival. Breakfast is not included.
If parking for private cars is required for the duration of the tour, it is paid additionally, according to the price list.
Option 2: group transfer for an additional fee:
meeting in Ufa: at 10:00 local time (the difference from Moscow time is + 2 hours) in Ufa, the central entrance of the Ufa Department Store (31 Oktyabrya Avenue). Group transfer to Kaga village (300 km);
meeting in Beloretsk (auto and railway station): on the day of arrival from 04:00 to 06:00. Group transfer to Kaga village (80 km). Breakfast is included. Earlier check-in is possible subject to availability. It is also possible to arrive on the eve of the arrival day from 20:00 to 22:00 (subject to payment for a group transfer and an additional fee).nights at the campsite).

"Village chores": a visit to the stable yard.
On this tour, you will be fully involved in the process of preparing horses for a walk. Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will harness the horse yourself and prepare the sled for the trip, and you will see the difference between sledges and sleds and boxes.
Horse-drawn sleigh ride in the vicinity of the village, visiting sightseeing and viewpoints (duration approximately 3 hours). It is possible (for an additional fee) to ride a horse.
Lunch.
The tour "The history of the village of Kaga and the Ural ironworks".
Kaga is one of the most distinctive villages in Bashkiria, located between two rivers — the wise White and playful Kaga.
The village was founded in the first half of the 18th century, in the southern part of the Ural Mountains, and over several centuries it has experienced a rich and interesting history: the construction of an ironworks of the Demidov dynasty and at the same time the rapid development of the village, the ordeal of fire and starvation after a fire, miraculous healing from typhus, etc.
We will tell you how the villagers managed to preserve their flavor, hear their dialect, learn about holidays and customs that are celebrated only here.
"Dumpling making" — the evening will be held in a friendly family atmosphere for leisurely conversations and dumpling making from high-quality village products.
"Over a cup of tea..." — tasting Bashkir honey, herbal tea and balms of local production.

Day 3 - Horse-drawn sledge crossing along the Bashkir State Nature Reserve
Breakfast.

Feel like the hero of the fairy tale "Morozko", as in childhood, enjoy the opportunity to touch the coniferous paws of the Christmas tree and throw off the snow from them, admire the vast expanses, look at the snow-covered ridges of the middle and southern Krak with pine, pine-birch and larch forests, and enjoy the silence and sounds of the winter forest.
Check-out is scheduled for approximately 5-6 hours (depends on the weather conditions and the group's preparedness).
It is expected to move a lot and stay outdoors for a long time. Therefore, pay attention to the selection of clothes.
During the departure, lunch is planned in a winter forest among snow-covered trees: hot food in thermoses, and, of course, warm tea, which will give you strength to continue admiring nature.
Return to the campsite.

Day 4 - Horse-drawn sledge crossing the pass, overnight in a forest hut
Breakfast.
Horse-drawn sleigh ride (30 km) through the pass with a view of the Bolshoy Shatak ridge and the Middle Krak ranges.
This day will remain in your memory for a long time as a day of complete unity with nature and immersion in an era when a horse was the only means of transportation and only a sleigh could get to the right point, and staying in a forest hut with stove heating, cooking on the stove and spending an evening by candlelight, will take you into a world of complete disconnection from civilization.
There is no Internet or cellular connection. It's just you and nature here.
It is in such places that the body is completely rebooted from thoughts and an endless stream of information.

Day 5 - Return to the campsite

Day 6 - Horse-drawn sleigh ride to Mount Blagodat, departure
Breakfast. Room release.
Horse-drawn sleigh ride to Mount Blagodat (duration approximately 3 hours).
The final trip through the environs you love, the opportunity to hone your sledding skills, look into the thoughtful eyes of a horse and feed it hay, walk along the top of a mountain more than 500 meters above sea level, take memorable photos against the backdrop of the Kraka, Maly and Bolshoy Shatak ridges.

There are several possible departure options on the tour:.
Option 1: independent departure from the village of Kaga): from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. local time.
Option 2: group transfer for an additional fee:
To Ufa: group transfer from Kaga village to Ufa (Ufa Department Store). Approximate arrival in Ufa by 21:00;
to Beloretsk: group transfer from Kaga village to Beloretsk railway station (from 15:00 to 16:00 local time).

It is located in the mountainous part of Bashkiria in the village of Kaga, Beloretsky district. The restored buildings of the 19th century (the former estate of the mining hospital) and modern residential buildings are organically combined on the territory.

Domed houses ("average comfort level") have an unusual circular architecture that gives a sense of privacy and unity with nature.

The total area of the house is 60 m2, inside there are 3 separate rooms (2-3 people each). The rooms have 1 double or 2 single beds, orthopedic mattresses and comfortable pillows, 2 towels, cups, a kettle, shelves for things and mirrors.

2 shared bathrooms at the house, a common corridor. Heating, water and sewerage are centralized and work smoothly.

There is a separate building with a kitchen and a dining room with panoramic views of the Ural Mountains, equipped with baths, recreation areas and Parking space. A Wi-fi network is available. For information: Megafon and Beeline have a good cellular signal, MTS does not work stably, and Tele2 does not pick up.

The tour was excellently organized. We traveled in a comfortable bus with a professional and friendly driver. The accommodation and meals were also very good. I would especially like to highlight our guide, Elena. Her deep knowledge, outstanding understanding of the region, engaging and expressive storytelling, subtle sense of humor, and excellent communication skills make her a top-class professional. She managed to bring together a group of very different people and became our leader and the heart of the group throughout all 10 days. There was, however, one thing that slightly detracted from the overall impression: the indifferent attitude and reluctance to address guests’ concerns on the part of the administration of the Chaika campsite at the Nugush Reservoir.
