Itinerary

Day 1 - Shihan, sightseeing tour at Krasnousolsky resort, master class on cooking baursak
10:00 Group meeting in Ufa at the central entrance of the UFA Department Store (31 Oktyabrya Avenue).
Transfer to Shikhany (150 km).
Walk at the foot of Shihan (without climbing).
The Shihans are unique natural monuments — remnants of ancient coral reefs formed in the warm sea of the Devonian period. Until now, corals, sponges, echinoderms and algae, which are about 300 million years old, can be found in the fossil accumulations there.
Transfer to Gafuri district (50 km).
Lunch.
Sightseeing tour of the Krasnousolsky resort, including the Tabyn Chapel, the place of the appearance of the holy icon of the Tabyn Mother of God; Holy springs (mineral and healing water).
The uniqueness of the Krasnousolsky resort is that here, on an area of only 15 hectares, about 250 springs of mineral waters are knocked out of the bowels of the earth. Each of them differs in a set of specific trace elements and has a unique effect on the human body.
Those who wish can swim in the fonts.
Transfer to the village of Imendyashevo (60 km).
Accommodation at the campsite (2-bed room with amenities).
A master class on cooking baursak, a traditional Bashkir dish.
Since ancient times, baursak was not just a pastry, it symbolized the sun and happiness. Therefore, it was prepared on special days, and only the most dear and kind guests were treated.
Supper.

Day 2 - Ukly-Kaya rock, acquaintance with Bashkir culture, excursion to the horse yard
Breakfast.
Radial walking tour in the vicinity of Imendyashevo with a visit to the Ukly-Kaya cliff (180 m above the Zilim level).
Translated from Bashkir, Ukly-Kaya means "Strelnaya Gora". According to legend, young Bashkirs shot at the rock before getting married. If the arrow reached the mountain, it was believed that the young man had become a man. To confirm the legend, arrowheads were often found on the slopes of the cliff.
Lunch at the campsite.
Introduction to Bashkir culture.
A story about national Bashkir costumes, a photo shoot in national costumes.
Archery: feel like a real batyr and try your hand at marksmanship.
Excursion to the horse yard.
You will learn interesting facts about horses and what is the peculiarity of the Bashkir breed, you will see the leader of the herd and the foals, and you will also be told the secrets of cooking koumiss and tasting (if it is the season).
You can complement your vacation with horseback riding, as well as spend time on the banks of the Zilim River.
Supper.

Day 3 - Guided tour "History of Kaga village and Ural ironworks", dumpling making
Breakfast.
Bus trip to the mountainous and forested areas of the Southern Urals to the ancient Russian village of Kaga (250 km).
Along the way, landscapes change from the Ural steppes to the majestic Ural Mountains. Part of the route passes through the territory of the South Ural State Nature Reserve.
In good weather, you can enjoy a view of the highest peak of the Southern Urals, Bolshoy Yaman–Tau.
Lunch.
Accommodation at the campsite.
Acquaintance with the history of the area and an inspection of the architectural monument – St. Nicholas Church.
The tour "The history of the village of Kaga and the Ural ironworks".
"Making dumplings": the evening will be held in a friendly family atmosphere for leisurely conversations and making dumplings from high-quality village products.
"Over a cup of tea..." – tasting Bashkir honey, herbal tea and balms of local production.

Day 4 - Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve
Breakfast.
Transfer to the Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve (100 km).
Visit to the museum and demonstration complex of the Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve.
The basis for the creation of the reserve was the habitation in this region of the core of a purebred aboriginal honeybee population — the Burzyansk honey bee ("burzyanki") in the conditions of bee farming – Bashkir folk art.
This reserve turned out to be the world's first zone protecting native wild bees.
You will have the opportunity to taste on-board honey (for an additional fee per season).
An introduction to the natural and cultural heritage site included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List: a unique monument of the Paleolithic era – the Shulgan-Tash cave (Kapova Cave).
Thousands of years ago, primitive people lived in it and left their drawings of animals on the walls. Such ancient drawings, before their discovery in this cave, were known only in caves in Spain and France.
Regardless of the time of year, the cave maintains a constant temperature of +7 Celsius. Therefore, it is necessary to have warm clothes with you.
Lunch with elements of Bashkir cuisine.
Acquaintance with Bashkir customs. A master class on playing the kurai.
Return to the campsite (100 km).
Supper.
Car travel per day is 200 km.

Day 5 - Walking tour to Mount Blagodat
Breakfast.
Walking distance to Mount Blagodat (~ 10 km, of which ~ 3 km on foot).
A sharp, almost hundred–meter cliff towards the bend of the Belaya River (Agidel), which offers a wonderful view, beautiful at any time of the year - an overview of the Bashtau ridge. This is where the best photos are taken against the backdrop of the Ural Mountains.
For an additional fee:
Excursion to the Bashkir State Nature Reserve (30 km from the village of Kaga, ~ 3 hours) – 1,500 rubles/person. for a group of 3 people or more. The tour of the museum and excursion complex of the reserve will begin with the history and nature features of the reserve and the Southern Urals, and will end with a walk along the eco-trail to the observation tower. You will be able to watch them at the maral aviary, learn interesting facts about them and take memorable photos.
Catamaran rafting (~4 hours, ~ 7 km) – 2,800 rubles/person. for a group of 4 people or more. Preparation for the route: transfer / walk to the place of the beginning of the rafting, safety briefing, equipping, gathering catamarans and "getting on the water"! Calm river flow, green shores and picturesque cliffs. During the rafting, it is planned to stop for rest and swimming. We finish the rafting at the Belsky Bridge. Departure from the route, transfer to the base.

Tengri Tourist Center (modular houses)

The tourist center is located in the mountainous part of Bashkiria in the village of Kaga, Beloretsky district. The restored buildings of the 19th century (the former estate of the mining hospital) and modern residential buildings are organically combined on its territory.

The modular houses (level 3*, "standard") have stylish 2-bed rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms have a simple design, 1 double or 2 single beds, orthopedic mattresses and comfortable pillows, air conditioning, 2 towels, cups, a kettle, shelves for things and mirrors.

Heating, water and sewerage are centralized and work smoothly.

There is a separate building with a kitchen and a dining room with panoramic views of the Ural Mountains, equipped with baths, recreation areas and Parking space. A Wi-fi network is available. For information: Megafon and Beeline have a good cellular signal, MTS does not work stably, and Tele2 does not pick up.

Tengri campsite (domed houses)

It is located in the mountainous part of Bashkiria in the village of Kaga, Beloretsky district. The restored buildings of the 19th century (the former estate of the mining hospital) and modern residential buildings are organically combined on the territory.

Domed houses ("average comfort level") have an unusual circular architecture that gives a sense of privacy and unity with nature.

The total area of the house is 60 m2, inside there are 3 separate rooms (2-3 people each). The rooms have 1 double or 2 single beds, orthopedic mattresses and comfortable pillows, 2 towels, cups, a kettle, shelves for things and mirrors.

2 shared bathrooms at the house, a common corridor. Heating, water and sewerage are centralized and work smoothly.

There is a separate building with a kitchen and a dining room with panoramic views of the Ural Mountains, equipped with baths, recreation areas and Parking space. A Wi-fi network is available. The tour was excellently organized. We traveled in a comfortable bus with a professional and friendly driver. The accommodation and meals were also very good. I would especially like to highlight our guide, Elena. Her deep knowledge, outstanding understanding of the region, engaging and expressive storytelling, subtle sense of humor, and excellent communication skills make her a top-class professional. She managed to bring together a group of very different people and became our leader and the heart of the group throughout all 10 days. There was, however, one thing that slightly detracted from the overall impression: the indifferent attitude and reluctance to address guests’ concerns on the part of the administration of the Chaika campsite at the Nugush Reservoir.
