Day 1 - Arrival in Makhachkala, excursion to the museum of Kaytag embroidery
Arrival by morning flights to the airport / railway station of Makhachkala.
At 11:30 am group transfer to Derbent.
Along the way, near the town of Izberbash, you will have a view of Mount Pushkin-Tau: you will notice the amazing similarity of the mountain with the profile of the great poet.
Stop for lunch (not included in the tour price).
Arrival in the village of Majalis, which arose in 1581.
Visit to the Museum of Kaitag embroidery.
This kind of art is a real national treasure of the republic — ancient, almost lost.
Kaitag embroidery uses 16 different seams.
The work of local craftsmen is so laborious that it takes from three months to six months to create one canvas.
Arrival in Derbent in the evening.
A walk along the Caspian Sea embankment.

Day 2 - Getting to know Derbent: excursion to the Naryn-Kala citadel and museums

Day 3 - Wonders of Dagestan: excursion to Sulak canyon and Sarykum dune

Early departure for a tour of the Sulak Canyon, whose height is 1920 meters.
It is often compared to the Grand Canyon in America; the Dagestan counterpart looks no less impressive, and also has greater depth.

On the way to Makhachkala, you will see the Sarykum dune, one of the highest in the world.

Day 5 - Excursion to Lake Kezenoy-Am

Day 6 - Excursion to the Erzi, Egikal, Vnushki tower complexes, Thaba-Yerdy temple

In the company of a local guide, you will go to Mountainous Ingushetia, namely to the Dzheyrakh Gorge, which is rightfully called the "pearl" of Ingushetia.
The monument Inside consists of three main towers, two of which stand on top of one cliff, and one on the opposite cliff.
The towers of the complex attract attention from afar, they are located in the picturesque Guloi-khi River gorge against the backdrop of impressive cliffs and ridges of the Caucasus.

Next, you will go to one of the oldest Christian temples — Thaba-Yerdy, which stands between the villages of Khairah and Pui of the Assinsky gorge, on the right tributary of the Assy River, near the border with Georgia.
The date of the construction of this temple in various studies "floats" within 700 years, from the VIII to the XIV century inclusive.
You will also see the Egikal castle complex, which is located in the Targim basin of the Dzheyrakh district at the foot of the Tsey Loam mountain.

Day 7 - Excursion to Kurtatinsky gorge and Dargavs

Departure for an excursion to the Karmadon gorge (the second name is Genaldon).
The Genaldon River flows along the bottom of this gorge, and there is also a fairly large Kolka glacier.
Moving to the Dargavs necropolis is the largest architectural complex in the North Caucasus, consisting of about a hundred funerary buildings.
The necropolis continues to perform its main function: the crypts contain skeletons and many mummified dead.

The tour will continue with a visit to the village of Verkhny Fiagdon and the Holy Dormition Monastery, the highest mountain temple in Russia.
You will visit the Dzivgis rock fortress, built in the XIII-XVI centuries.

Day 9 - Car-walking tour to the north of the Elbrus region (Jily-Su)

Early in the morning you will go to get acquainted with the legendary Elbrus in the Gila-Su tract.
You can expect an active holiday in the north of the Elbrus region, where, unlike the southern side of the mountain, there is practically no civilization.
There are no hotels, cable cars and cafes here, which makes it possible to fully enjoy nature.
You will climb to an altitude of about 2,400 meters above sea level to the territory of the Elbrus National Park.
Here, at the foot of the gray-haired two—headed giant, the stern and solemnly beautiful Elbrus, the most beautiful and picturesque river of the Elbrus region, the Malka, the left tributary of the Terek River, originates.
To the left of the Malki River is the northern part of Elbrus, on which the top of Mount Kyzylkai is located, and to the right is the Kirtyk ridge and the northern part of Elbrus, where you can see the most beautiful of the Balyk peaks.

Day 10 - Transfer to Dombai. Shoan Temple and a walk to the "Devil's Mill"

At 09:00 group transfer to Dombai (on the way about 5.5 hours, with stops).
At one of the stops there is a walking ascent to the Shoan Temple (late X century), towering 13 meters above the rocky spur.
There is a gazebo with a bell on the rock next to the temple: according to tradition, travelers can walk over the suspension bridge, make a wish and fill the space of the mountains with bell ringing.

Arrival in the village of Dombai.

A walk to the Devil's Mill Canyon.
The path starts from Amanauz, the main river flowing through the territory of Dombayskaya Polyana.
Above the village, the riverbed narrows and begins to look like a deep canyon: once upon a time, water forced its way through high granite cliffs.

Day 11 - Ascent by cable car to Moussa Achitara and a trip to Lake Tumanli-Kel

Day 13 - Adygea. Krasnodar

Today you will go to Lago Naki - this is the name of a unique mountain plateau with a height of 2200 meters above sea level.
The Lago Naki Plateau is part of the Caucasian State Natural Biosphere Reserve, the largest in terms of territory and the oldest in the North Caucasus.

There are more than 1000 unique caves on the territory of the Lago Naka Highlands, one of which you will visit during the tour.
The Azish cave is one of the five largest caves in Europe, descending into it, you will find yourself in an underground fairy tale — many sinter formations, calcite slabs, columns, underground rivers, stalactites and stalagmites of bizarre shapes.
There are several halls in the cave, equipped with stairs, railings and spectacular lighting.
