Departure with things to mountainous Ingushetia.
09:00 Guided tour of mountainous Ingushetia.
The Assinsky Gorge is not just a canyon, but one of the most scenic routes in the North Caucasus. Here, the Assa River, born in the mountains of Georgia, powerfully breaks through stone walls, cutting through rocks like a blade.
Every turn of the road here is a discovery: the winding river disappears into the depths, then reappears, then to the right, then to the left, as if it leads behind itself.
The Erzya Nature Reserve, whose name translates as "eagle", is located in two districts of Ingushetia – Sunzhensky and Dzheyrakhsky.
Targim – refers to the castle-type tower settlements, which were built in the XV-XVII centuries. Targim is not only an ancient tower complex, but also an abandoned village located in relative proximity to an architectural landmark.
Khamkhi – the tower buildings of which have a severe monumental appearance, are perched on a steep rocky slope.
The Thaba-Yerdy Temple is one of the oldest early Christian temples in Ingushetia, most likely built in the eighth century AD. It is not known exactly when the temple of Thaba-Yerdy was built.
There are also disputes about its name – some scientists believe that it translates as "our faith", others – "our shrine", and others are sure that the name means "2,000 saints". Linguists have not yet come to a common denominator.
Vnushki is the winner of the "7 Wonders of Russia" contest. It is a recognized masterpiece of medieval tower architecture, and a source of special pride for the Ingush.
It's hard to imagine now how much effort builders had to put into building a four-story complex in such a difficult place to build five centuries ago.
The place was not chosen by chance, it is the junction point of mountain gorges, in ancient times one of the sections of the Great Silk Road passed here.
The Egikal is one of the largest medieval tower complexes. A long time ago, the tower town of Egikal was a fairly crowded place and was considered the center of the administrative and commercial life of the Middle Ages.
People have lived here for many centuries, and the dead were buried here, not only underground, but also in above–ground crypts. Some of the crypts reach 3 floors in height and contain the remains of more than 200 people.
13:00-14:00 Lunch at the guest house in the mountains for an additional fee (order at the beginning of the tour; set menu: manti, salad, chapilgash, tea).
The Ceylomsky pass offers an unforgettable view of the main rocky Caucasian ridge, Mount Kazbek and the Targim basin.
The Erzi Tower Complex is one of the largest tower complexes in Ingushetia. It was here that the famous bronze eagle, dating back to the 8th century, was discovered in the 19th century.
Check–in in the main building of the Armkhi LOCK, in the absence of places - in the Chaika, Turk buildings or apartments in Armkhi.
