And although when we think of the Caucasus, its indigenous peoples come to mind first, historically there have been many more of them in this geographical area!

On this trip to Yessentuki, Zheleznovodsk and Pyatigorsk, we will get acquainted with the interesting sights of the resort towns, taste national cuisine, take part in wine and cheese tasting, and optionally relax in the Italian Baths complex.

The tour is conducted in an individual format from 2-3 people or in organized groups. Leave a request to receive the tour program for your group.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Guided tour of the Yessentuki Resort Park. Optional trip to the thermal complex
Arrival at the airport (railway station) of Mineralnye Vody before 12:00. Group transfer at 12:30 to Yessentuki.
Arrival at the Kurortny 4* hotel. We leave our belongings in the hotel's luggage room.
Lunch with dishes of national cuisine.
Accommodation in rooms of the selected category after 14:00.
After lunch, you will have an easy and exciting walking tour of the resort park. You will walk through the resort park, see narzan galleries and a Greek-style mud clinic, and, of course, taste the legendary mineral water (Essentuki-4, Essentuki-17).
On request (for an additional fee), it is possible to arrange a trip to the thermal complex "Italian Baths".
Italian thermal baths are a vacation for aesthetes and connoisseurs of European comfort in the best traditions of the world's thermal resorts. Thermal baths take care of your health, keep you warm, correct your figure and relax.
On the territory of 2.5 hectares you will find a variety of relaxation opportunities.:
outdoor and indoor pools with water of 100% and 50% mineralization (3 pools);
saunas (salt, aroma and Finnish);

Day 2 - Getting to know Zheleznovodsk. Winery Tasting tour
Breakfast at the hotel.
Getting to know the resort of Zheleznovodsk. You will have a walk through the resort park, where you will see architectural monuments of the XIX century: the former summer residence of the Emir of Bukhara, Pushkin Gallery.
Make a wish by trying to scroll through the so-called Wishing Stone, walk along the Cascading Staircase, which underwent extensive restoration in 2019, to the also renovated Resort Lake with a picturesque territory.
And, of course, try the mineral water directly from the springs – Lermontovsky and Smirnovsko-Slavyanovsky.
Departure to the local winery "Batrak". Guided tour of the winery.
You will learn how the German colonists built the winery, what contribution the Italians made to the development of production, how these drinks came to the table of the imperial family, as well as the history of the winery's restoration after the collapse of the USSR.
You will also enjoy a tasting of several varieties of wines with a light snack of local cheeses.*
Return to Essentuki. Free time.
Dinner on your own.
* if there are those who wish, it is possible to organize a gastronomic lunch with a cheese maker and a winemaker (surcharge from 7,500 rubles/person).

Day 3 - Pyatigorsk with an Italian accent. City tour. Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
Departure for a guided tour of Pyatigorsk.
During the tour, you will learn about the life and work of the first architects of Pyatigorsk, the Italians Giuseppe Marco and Giovanni Baptiste Bernardazzi.
They lived and worked in Pyatigorsk for about two decades and are buried in the ancient cemetery "Necropolis", not far from the place of the original burial of Mikhail Lermontov.
Leisurely strolling in the company of a guide, you will see many sights and preserved buildings created by talented Italians.:
Mykolaiv (now Lermontov) baths;
the famous "Diana's Grotto";
a stone rotunda with eight columns – the "Aeolian Harp", from which gentle sounds of music can be heard in the evenings.;
a wide boulevard, now called the "Flower Garden", which at one time became a favorite place of festivities for the "resort public" – on its territory there is also the famous sculpture of an Eagle, the hallmark of Pyatigorsk itself and all the cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
Lunch.
If the weather is clear, we suggest that you take a cable car to the very top of Mount Mashuk (surcharge from 500 rubles/person) to enjoy the beautiful scenery from a height of almost 1000 meters above sea level.
Group transfer to the airport (railway station) in Mineralnye Vody for evening flights after 19:00.

Overall, everything was fine. The only downside was that there was a bit too much repeated information in the chat, so it was sometimes hard to remember which file contained the information I needed. Otherwise, everything was great
