Climbing two five thousand meters in one tour, two extinct stratovolcanoes. By following this path, you will learn the basics of mountaineering, feel a love for the mountains, and reboot your mind. You will feel proud standing at the top.

Overnight stays in tents near thermal springs and rocks are waiting for you. Snow and ice classes and trainings, as well as several acclimatization exits, will prepare you for the assault.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Transition to thermal springs
Group meeting from 08:00 to 11:00 in Mineralnye Vody at the organizer's office.
We go to the Ministry of Emergency Situations to register. And to the border checkpoint for issued passes (documents must be submitted 2 weeks in advance).
Transfer to the thermal springs — Verkhnekarmadon baths. There are several natural baths that are very warm and hot.
The sites for the installation of tents are located near the springs. In the evening we make a plan for the day, the guide tells us about the route.
The height of the camp is 2300 m. The distance is 7 km, the travel time is 3-4 hours.

Day 2 - Crossing the Miley Glacier
We cross the Kolka stream over the suspension bridge and go out onto the Miley Glacier.
We cross the glacier and set up camp at the beginning of the ascent along the rocky section.
Acclimatization exit higher up the glacier with training on a snow-ice slope — self-restraint with an ice axe, walking in bundles.
The distance is 3 km, the journey time is 2-3 hours.

Day 3 - Climbing the cliff buttress trail of the railway peak
Climb to overnight stops at 3500 along the north-western buttress of the railway peak.
At the beginning of the ascent, cables are hung for insurance.
Acclimatization exit to the "Big Stone" at 3700. Great views of the valley and glacier.
Intermittently, but you can get a mobile connection.
The distance is 1 km, the climb is 500 m, the time is 3 hours.

Day 4 - Ascent to the assault camp
Climb to overnight accommodation at 4200 on the Kazbek plateau.
The acclimatization exit to the top of the OZD peak is 4271 m. It offers a view of the top of Kazbek. We will spend a few days in this camp, and from here we will go to the top.
The distance is about 2 km, the climb is 700 m, the travel time is 3-4 hours.

Day 5 - Rest day before climbing Kazbek
A day of rest before the assault.
Walk for 1-2 hours towards the top. We practice moving in a bundle.
We collect backpacks for climbing and check the equipment. We prepare breakfast in advance so that the preparations for the assault take as little time as possible. Early lights out.

Day 6 - Kazbek peak climbing 5034 m
Wake up at 2 a.m., exit at 3 a.m. This is the optimal exit time, according to weather conditions, you can postpone the exit for 2-3 hours. It is necessary to climb to the top before 14:00 in order to descend on time.
Ascent to Kazbek Vostochny, height 5034 m.
Descent to the camp on the shoulder of the peak of the railway 4200 or to the camp at the Cross at 3500.
The ascent takes 5-7 hours, the distance is 4-5 km, the climb is 850 m.

Day 7 - Descent to the thermal baths
The descent along the way up to the thermal springs takes most of the day. In the evening, you can enjoy the hot water in the natural thermal baths, the glacier and the mountains around.

Day 8 - Transfer to the Elbrus region. Dargavs
The descent to the village of Tmenikau will take about 3 hours.
Transfer to Vladikavkaz. On the way we will visit Dargavs, the "city of the dead", where the remains of Ossetian ancestors still lie in the crypts.
Participants receive certificates of perfect ascent.
The next part of the adventure awaits us, climbing Mount Elbrus. Upon arrival in Terskol, we check into the hotel.

Day 9 - Outdoor activities, a walk to the Narzanov Glade
This time we will do an easy trekking to the "Narzan Glade", where you can get natural mineral water and have a delicious meal in a cafe with national cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will prepare for departure to the mountainous zone of Elbrus.

Day 10 - Cable car to Elbrus 3800 m. Check-in at the shelter
From the Azau glade, we will take the cable car up to the Gara-Bashi station at an altitude of 3800 m.

Day 11 - Climbing the Western peak of Mount Elbrus 5642 m
Exit at midnight. Hot tea and energy nutrition for the ascent, which will take about 10 hours. You must be at the top before 14:00.
After the ascent, we descend to the shelter and, if we make it before the cable car closes, then to the hotel in the village. Terskol.
It is possible to drop a group or part of a group on a snowmobile or snowmobile (not included in the price).

For the first 8 days, accommodation in tents on Kazbek and traveling with backpacks of about 20 kg.

After Kazbek, taking into account the move, there is time for recovery and rest, followed by a quick and fairly easy ascent of Elbrus due to the acclimatization on Kazbek.
