We'll walk up to get a workout and acclimatize, and take the cable car down to save our legs and keep our strength before the next day.

After returning to the camp, you can relax and prepare for the next day, and in your free time we recommend taking walks in the picturesque surroundings.

After breakfast, we pack a tent camp and leave civilization for the mountains, with backpacks.

Although the final point of this day is the observatory, on the way we will have time to visit the Maiden Spit waterfall. It is considered to be one of the top 20 most beautiful waterfalls in Russia.

The water here is chilling and incredibly delicious. On a hot day, the water dust from the roaring streams of water is perfectly refreshing.

In the morning, we pack a tent camp and move on, getting closer and closer to the goal of our journey — the top of a dormant volcano.

Today we will have another day away from the tourist routes, and we will move on to the Ice Base. This former glaciological base is located at an altitude of 3,720 m at the junction of the Terskol and Garabashi glaciers.

The base has gone through different periods of its development and has been used for medical, meteorological and physical expeditions. And now it is a place for true romantics and connoisseurs of the bottomless night sky and the silence of the mountain peaks.

Another important stage of this day is classes on the technique of self—restraint on a snowy slope using an ice axe. Treat him with attention, as these skills are vital for climbing.

Today is a day of real adventures waiting for you. From the Ice Base in a bundle, you will cross the Garabashi Glacier to Shelter 11.

Thanks to the ice classes, you will already have all the necessary skills. You will also need cats on the ice cliffs.

Shelter 11 is a landmark place on Elbrus. We set up a tent camp and rest before an important day.

Today you will have a dress rehearsal of the ascent — an acclimatization exit. We will climb light to a height of 4,800 m, which will give us a height difference of about 800 m and will serve as an excellent workout for the body.

Proper acclimatization is the key to a successful ascent, because the body needs to adapt to a decrease in oxygen concentration and low blood pressure.

After coming down from the exit, you can relax in the tent camp.

Before an important day, you need to rest properly.

Today you will have a short walk to keep your muscles and respiratory system in good shape, but otherwise it will be a pleasant and relaxed day at the campground.

In the evening, you need to go to bed early to get enough sleep before climbing.

Wake up at midnight. 1.5 hours for packing.

From the assault camp itself, we walk in cats, with ice axes and headlamps. By the time you climb, you will already be well acclimatized and will be able to walk and breathe properly, walk in crampons, and cut yourself with an ice axe in case of a breakdown.

On difficult sections of the route, you will walk in a bundle.

The ascent to the top lasts 8-10 hours, depending on the physical abilities of the participants, the weather and the condition of the slope. The descent takes about 3-4 more hours.

After many hours of effort with yourself and a difficult climb, you will be rewarded with a majestic view from the Western Peak at 5,642 meters above sea level.

Attention! Regardless of the result, from 13:00, the movement of all group members is carried out only downwards.

During the ascent of power, you will be supported by a snack (dry ration), thermos flasks with tea or hot drink, which you will arrange yourself.

If you manage to descend from the top before the cable cars close before 16:00, then you can leave for Mineralnye Vody on the day of the descent.
