Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival. Pyatigorsk city tour, master class

    Arrival in Pyatigorsk.

Check-in at the hotel (check-in from 14:00), things can be left in the luggage room at the hotel.

We recommend having lunch in advance, as there will be no such opportunity during the tour.

Meeting in the lobby of the hotel with a representative of the company.

Pyatigorsk has recently become much prettier and prettier. Resort squares and parks will boast new paving stones, a bronze Ostap Bender will greet you at the famous Sinkhole, and new balustrades, fountains and observation decks will make a walk around the city cozy and memorable.

And you will see a lot: the Sinkhole, the place of Lermontov's duel, grottos and galleries. Pyatigorsk is the oldest city in the region.

Pyatigorsk is a city that has seen many historical events and great people such as Leo Tolstoy, S. Yesenin, A.S. Pushkin.

But the most important one is undoubtedly Mikhail Lermontov, the famous Russian poet who lived and died here.

During the tour, you will learn about the life of the famous poet and visit places related to Lermontov's stay in Pyatigorsk.

Pyatigorsk city tour with a visit to Lermontov's places: Lake Proval, Aeolian Harp, Tsvetnik Park, Diana's grotto, Restaurant, Lermontov's duel place.

    Transfer to the restaurant.

A master class on tasting Caucasian wines and cognac.

We are waiting for participation in a training master class on tasting wine products from leading Stavropol producers.

The history of the formation of viticulture and winemaking in our region, and at the bottom of the amber glass you will see a reflection of the destinies of those who devoted their lives to this art.

The master class will reveal the secrets of the sommelier profession: You will learn to identify the aroma and taste of wine by dozens of parameters using all the senses.

Festive Caucasian feast (dinner, included in the price of the tour).

Of course, everyone was a participant in the Russian feast, it does not have any special rules, and it often flows by itself.

Many people have heard about the Caucasian feast, but few people know about its unspoken rules.

A feast in the Caucasus is a demonstration of the relationship between each other, resembling a real ceremony with its own customs and rules.

    Return to the Pyatigorsk hotel.

    Free time.

The guides were excellent at organizing the excursions and always gave us enough time to explore the sights and markets at our own pace. Everyone was friendly, and the buses were very comfortable.

Hello, I went on the "Caucasian Mosaic" tour and really enjoyed the experience. I was especially impressed by Mount Elbrus, Dombay, Kislovodsk, and the Honey Waterfalls. We even had time to visit an alpaca farm, which I absolutely loved. The guides shared fascinating insights about the sites and included personal stories, which made the trip engaging and far from boring. We stayed at the Intourist Hotel — it was comfortable and met all our needs. The only downside was the early mornings every day. While I understand it's necessary to beat the crowds at popular attractions, I think the itinerary would benefit from at least one day with a more relaxed start to let everyone catch up on rest. The combination of early wake-ups and late returns makes it hard to get enough sleep. The buses were modern and well-equipped, and pick-ups were always punctual. The guides offered great suggestions for how to spend our free time, and there was plenty of opportunity to shop and try local cuisine. Overall, we were very happy with the trip. The tour was well-planned, covered a wide range of destinations, and gave us a rich and complete impression of the Caucasus. Thank you!
