OPTION I
Pyatigorsk city tour of Lermontov places at 14:00.
According to the program of the excursion:
Visit: lake "Proval", Aeolian Harp, grotto of M.Y. Lermontov, Academic Gallery. A walk along Goryachaya Mountain to the emblem of the Caucasian Mineral Waters — the sculpture "Eagle tormenting a snake", a visit to Diana's grotto, the Tsvetnik Park with the Lermontov Gallery and a visit to the place of M.Y. Lermontov's duel on the northwestern slope of Mount Mashuk.
The tour ends at 5:30 p.m.
Optional for an additional fee, independent visit at any free time:
Museum-Reserve "M.Y. Lermontov's House";
Cable car to the top of Mount Mashuk.

OPTION II
Honey Waterfalls tour at 13:00.
According to the program of the excursion:
Mount Koltso is one of the Lermontov sites in Kislovodsk.
Tea House — free tasting of herbal tea and many types of jam. There is an opportunity to buy: jams, herbs, sweets.
Honey Waterfalls is a gorge of the Alikonovka River, decorated with several waterfalls. There is an ethnographic museum on the territory of the campsite, national costumes for photos.
Return to Pyatigorsk ~ at 18:30.

OPTION III
The Suvorov Baths trip starts at 14:00.
Transfer to the village of Suvorovskaya. Suvorov thermal springs are a great place for treatment and relaxation. On the fenced territory of the complex there are pools with hot mineral water (2 outdoor and 1 indoor). Mineral water is good for relieving pain in joints, back, and calms the nervous system. There are contraindications. It is necessary to consult a doctor.
The tour ends at 5:30 p.m.

OPTION IV
The Two Monasteries tour starts at 13:00.
The first part of the tour program is the St. George Convent, built next to the village of Yasnaya Polyana, where on one side there is a view of the Pyatigorsk mountains Mashuk and Beshtau, and on the other - the snow–capped mountains of the Greater Caucasus, led by the majestic Elbrus.
Next, we set off towards Pyatigorsk and climb Mount Beshtau. The Beshtaugorsky Second Athos Holy Dormition Monastery is located here. Shrines of the monastery: the icon of the Mother of God, brought from Mount Athos, the image of St. St. John the Theologian, Prophetess Anna and Paraskeva Friday, consecrated on Mount Athos in the Iliinsky skete, an ark with the relics of the Kiev Caves saints. The Second Athos Monastery became the first revived monastery in the North Caucasus. His rebirth marks the rebirth of Caucasian monasticism.
Return to Pyatigorsk ~ at 18:30.

OPTION I
The Elbrus tour starts at 6:00.
Excursion to the foot of the highest peak of the Caucasus, Russia and Europe, Elbrus, which is the most mysterious and mystical mountain of the Caucasus.
According to the program of the excursion:
Stop for breakfast ~ at 8:00 at a roadside cafe. Breakfast for an additional fee (~200 rubles) — khychin (flatbread with cheese and potatoes or meat) and herbal tea.
Stop (~ 2 hours) at Cheget glade — the foot of Cheget Mountain, from the slopes of which the best view of Elbrus opens in clear weather. Two levels of the chairlift are raised to a height of 3,100 meters above sea level.
Stop (~ 3 hours) at Azau glade, the southern foot of Mount Elbrus. Climbing on closed cable cars.
The 1st level rises to a height of 3,000 meters above sea level – the station "Old Horizon";
The 2nd level rises to a height of 3,500 meters above sea level – Mir station;
The 3rd level rises to a height of 3,900 meters above sea level – Gara-Bashi station.
Lunch on Azau after descent from the cable cars for an additional fee ~ at 14:00 national Balkarian cuisine: shorpa (400 rubles), lagman (400 rubles), kebabs (500 rubles), manti (300 rubles), khychiny (200 rubles).
Stop at Narzanov glade (~ 30 min.) on the way back from Elbrus. Narzan tasting, you can take unlimited bottles with you for free.

Dombay tour ~ 06:00.
Dombayskaya Polyana is the heart of the mountains of the northwest Caucasus, a famous tourist and ski center. In the Caucasus, they say: "Whoever has not been to Dombay has not seen the Caucasus!".
According to the program of the excursion:
Stop for breakfast ~ at 8:45 for an additional fee: Karachay khychiny (~200-300 rubles), tea on mountain herbs (50 rubles).
The Ullu Muruju Mountain River is one of the cleanest rivers on the planet that you can drink from! Stop, photo, set of bottled water.
Dombayskaya Polyana (~ at 11:00) — stop for ~ 4 hours. Arriving at Dombai Glade, everyone climbs the slopes of Mount Mussa Achitara to an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level to see a breathtaking panorama of the Main Caucasian Ridge with its famous peaks: Dombai Ulgen, Sulakhat, Sufruja, Belalakaya, Ine Peak, etc. From there you can enjoy a view of the gorges of the Gonachkhir, Alibek, Teberda rivers and numerous glaciers, as well as Dombayskaya glade surrounded by huge mountains.

The most picturesque Chegem gorge, where the film "Sannikov Land" was shot, a walk along the gorge along the Chegem mountain river to the Chegem waterfalls, the largest karst waterfalls in the Caucasus.
Lunch of national Balkarian cuisine for an additional fee: kebabs (~400-650 rubles), zhalbaur (liver), lagman (~250-300 rubles), trout (~350-800 rubles), khychiny (~200-250 rubles), shurpa (~400 rubles), homemade wine, tea with mountain herbs.

It's important to know

Documents

The first and most important thing is the documents! PASSPORT and birth certificate of the child (if you are traveling with children). What for? Firstly, in your travels you will cross the borders of the subjects of the Russian Federation and therefore passport control is possible. Secondly, there is a discount for children on all cable cars, but only upon presentation of a birth certificate!

Clothes

Clothes should be light, comfortable and warm. Traveling through the mountains, you will most likely have to cross several climatic zones at once, which means that the temperature difference is guaranteed. Therefore, do not be lazy to put on several things at once. Let you wear a T-shirt, a warm jacket, a down vest, and a warm jacket. You can always take off the top "layer", or vice versa, quickly insulate yourself as needed. And be sure to wear warm, waterproof shoes. Don't forget your swimsuit and slippers. And also take spare dry socks with you (take them with you on excursions if your feet get wet). For women, a headscarf for visiting mosques and temples

Cosmetics

Sunscreen in order to avoid sunburn is simply necessary! After all, it is much easier to get them in the mountains than in the flat part. Do not forget the hygienic lipstick, because it is often windy in the mountains and you can chafe your lips. As well as sunglasses.
