The tour to Bezengi takes place in the Caucasus, on the territory of Kabardino-Balkaria. These places are called the "ice heart of the Caucasus", because it is here that the legendary Bezengi gorge is located.

Nature has given the Caucasus 8 peaks, the mark of which exceeds 5000 m. Six five thousand meters of the Caucasus are located in Bezengi. Bright flowers and emerald glaciers are placed here in one frame. As an ornament, nature presented the Bezengi Gorge with delightful orange poppies.

During the trip, we will visit several waterfalls, walk along an equipped ecotrope, take photos of glaciers and trek to the Northern and Bezengian walls.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Bezengi Gorge
11:00-11:30 – gathering of the group at the airport and at the railway station in Mineralnye Vody (near the main entrance to the station from the city side).
Transfer by bus to the Bezengi alpine camp (about 5-6 hours).
Bezengi Gorge.
In the evening we will arrive at one of the most amazing and organized alpine camps in the Caucasus – the Bezengi alpine camp.
On its territory there are residential buildings, parking lots with tents, a dining room, a shower room, a gift shop and even a kindergarten.
After settling in the alplager, we will take a sightseeing tour of its territory.
From afar we will see the gorges with the glaciers of Mizhirgi and Bezengi, and we will also be happy to consider the relief layout of the area.
Relief, snowy mountains rise on the layout, valleys with glaciers, lakes and our entire future route are perfectly visible.

Day 2 - Zhigindzhi Waterfall, an ecotrope to the Bezengi glacier
Today, according to the tour program, there is an easy, walking route.
Right from the camp we can see a huge Kargashil ridge.
At the very top of the ridge is the Zhigindzhi glacier, which melts and gives rise to the river of the same name.
The river jumps rapidly along the ledges of the ridge and turns into a beautiful waterfall.
Today's waterfall has a secret, it conceals an unusual natural phenomenon.
In the morning, part of the water flow is "golden" from the illumination of the sun's rays. After lunch, the second part of the cascade comes out of the shadows and glows "silver".
This unusual fact has greatly interested scientists.
They came here with a small laboratory, took water samples. But the mystery of the waterfall has not been solved.
We go further and get to the ecotrope to The Bezengi glacier.
The comfortable eco-trail was equipped by Rushydro.
Colorful stands with photos and descriptions of local flora and fauna are installed along the trail.
Walking along the ecotrope, in July we pick strawberries, in August-September we feast on blueberries and lingonberries.
At the end of the journey we will come close to The Bezengi glacier.
It is the largest glacier on the The Caucasus.
Its length ranges from 13 to 20 kilometers, and the thickness of the ice reaches 180 meters!

Day 3 - Gidan Waterfall, trekking to the Mizhirgi glacier, North Wall
The active tour to Bezengi continues.
This day will surely be remembered by you for its incredible landscapes.
Today we will see the amazing North Wall.
The Northern massif is a huge mountain system: 15 kilometers of perfect snow and ice, 4 five thousand meters!
Mizhirgi, Dykhtau, Pushkin Peak, Koshtantau – all these peaks have a mark above 5000 m.
White snow caps and glaciers look very impressive against the background of the blue sky. Light clouds float by and lightly touch the mountain peaks.
The spectacular nature of this gorge consists in a stunning contrast: we walk on green grass, through flower meadows and immediately snow five thousand meters rise in front of us.
At such a moment, you feel how grandiose the mountains have been created here by nature!
We will also have lunch against the backdrop of five thousand people.
Then we will walk a little more and take beautiful photos of the Mizhirga glacier.
On the way back, we will pass by the sign of the gorge "Telpy corner", where climbers like to go and train.
And then we will admire the cascading Gidan waterfall.
He is born on Mount Gidan-tau and, jumping on the ledges, quickly runs into the valley.

Day 4 - Trekking to the Mizhirgi glacier and to the "Football field 1"
It is interesting to look at the views that open from the parallel moraine leading to the Northern Massif of the Mizhirgi glacier.
From here, the North Wall opens from a different angle, the views fascinate and make you fall in love with yourself more and more!
From the very beginning of the journey, we are continuously accompanied by the Northern Massif. We are walking along the path, along the moraine and it feels like there are endless 5D wallpapers in front of our eyes, which increase and approach, an amazing effect!
The massive and rocky Brno Mountain (4,110 meters) looks out on the right, and on the left there are views of the "Warm Corner" and the Ukyu Kosh hut, which looks like a tiny red dot.
Going forward, we will come to the long–awaited level place - "Football field 1".
This is a huge grassy area in the mountains, completely covered with emerald grass. Curious mountain tours often come to this place.
There is an interesting object on the football field. Let's get closer and try to figure out what it is intended for!

Day 5 - Trekking to the Troll Language and outlandish swings in the mountains
Today we are going to the most panoramic point of our route — the Troll's Tongue!
This is a route that takes your breath away and immediately gives you goosebumps.
The bus will take us to the mountains, then we will walk.
The trail goes along the green hills, on which a floral carpet is spread. Connoisseurs of Alpine meadows — white sheep - graze peacefully here.
The path leads us to a rocky ledge that overhangs a precipice more than 100 m high. Girls, take dresses for this location, we highly recommend it. And our guide will make sure that the photo shoot is safe.
In each group there are fans of making wishes. There is a magic arch in the rock especially for this purpose.
And another highlight of the route is the high mountain swing overlooking the Bezengi Wall.
On the descent we will visit the ruins of the village of Nizhny Khulam. People left this city a long time ago and only our guide knows why this happened.

Day 6 - Trekking to the Bezengi glacier
Good morning! Those who like to get up early on vacation in Bezengi will always be pleased with the magnificent, dawn landscapes.
We strongly advise you to admire the Bezengian Wall at sunrise!
There are dark, sleeping mountains around, and at the end of the gorge the Bezengian wall lights up with pink light. The first rays of the sun touch its five thousand meters and the pointed top of the Dome.
So a new day comes to our camp.
It is impossible to imagine a tour to the Caucasus without a walk to the main treasure of these places.
Today we have a very busy hike — we go to the Bezengi glacier and the Bezengi wall.
The wall is 13 kilometers of snow and ice, there are also two snow-white five-thousandth peaks: Dzhangitau and Shkhara.
On this day we will walk on a real glacier: most of the way will be over rocks, but in some places there will be snow and real, emerald ice under our feet.
Sometimes in one shot we will be able to catch green meadows, flowers and snowy peaks of Bezenga.

Day 7 - Departure from Bezenga
In the morning we leave Bezengi and return to Mineralnye Vody.
12:30-13:30 – arrival in Mineralnye Vody Water, departure home.
Active tour in Bezengi is completed.
Depending on the weather conditions, the physical condition of the participants and other factors, the tour program may be changed.

The route is trekking and provides for walking through mountainous (rugged) terrain. This type of active recreation involves daily climbing and dropping heights (ascents and descents).

The route passes through forest trails, dirt roads, alpine meadows, large and small stones. The routes will have an altitude difference of 160 to 480 m per day. On one day of the route, the altitude difference will be 800 m.

Climbing up to 800 m is about the same as climbing 260 floors.

The route is simple, we recommend it for beginners and parents with children.

The route runs at an altitude of: 1560-2820 m .

The Bezengi Alpine Camp is a kind and hospitable place in the heart of the Caucasus mountains.

Double and triple rooms with amenities, Wi-Fi, towels are provided.

You can ask the administrator for a hairdryer and a kettle, there is no refrigerator.

On the territory of the Bezengi alpine camp there is a drying room for clothes, a cafe, a souvenir shop, a tourist equipment store, a grocery store.

Laundry and kindergarten services are available at the Bezengi for an additional fee (a child can be left in the kindergarten for the whole day under the supervision of a tutor).

We draw your attention to the rules of choosing clothes for the trip: in the Caucasus, you can wear trousers and T-shirts. Shorts and T-shirts should not be taken for a trip to the Caucasus.
