This castle, unique in its kind, rises on the water surface and is surrounded by an artificial lake. Majestic forests surround it, and the windows overlook the vineyards. The castle is harmoniously integrated into the natural landscape, perfectly combining the simplicity of Romanesque architecture and conciseness in decoration. This architectural gem has become an integral part of the surrounding landscape. Nalchik is the capital of the Kabardino—Balkarian Republic, comfortably located on the banks of the Nalchik River at the foot of the Main Caucasian Ridge. This city is one of the most important administrative, cultural and economic centers of the North Caucasus region of Russia. During the sightseeing tour you will visit: Kabardinskaya Street, Arbat, the arch "Forever with Russia", St. Simeon's Church and a pastry shop. The Cherek Gorge is one of the most fascinating natural gems of Kabardino-Balkaria. A serpentine road runs along the very edge of this gorge, where the height of the rocks reaches half a kilometer from the narrow bottom. The gorge impresses with its impressive size and incredible beauty, providing an opportunity to experience real adrenaline. The only sound that breaks the surrounding silence is the noise of the Cherek Balkarian mountain river, slowly flowing in the heart of the gorge. Blue Lake (Cerik-Kel) is a unique natural phenomenon, one of the deepest karst lakes in the world, located in the picturesque Cherek gorge. It is the second deepest karst spring in the world, distinguished by its sheer walls. The water temperature is +9 degrees all year round. There is a possibility that at a depth of 2558 meters there is not a bottom, but a bend, making the Blue Lake the deepest source in the world.

The Elbrus region is a national park and a famous resort area in the mountains of Kabardino-Balkaria, which includes the highest peak in Russia – Elbrus. On the territory of the Elbrus region there are the sources of three large glacial rivers - Baksan, Malka and Kuban. Elbrus is an active, albeit dormant volcano. This is the only volcano in the world that has two peaks of almost equal height: the Western One (5642 meters high) and the Eastern One (5621 meters). Our route will run along the Baksan Gorge (the largest, most picturesque and famous gorge of the Central Caucasus), crossing the Baksan River several times, and will lead us to the foot of Elbrus. The bus route ends at the village Terskol is the highest mountain village in the Elbrus region (2,100 m). And our ascent to Elbrus will begin from the Azau Glade — the main place for sports parties and recreation (2300 m). Three cable cars, the first two are a trailer. The third one, the chairlift, goes from Mir station (3500m.) to a height of 3900 m. above sea level to the climbers' acclimatization camp. The upper station of the cable car offers a charming view of the mountains of the Main Caucasian Ridge. Even some of the mountain peaks of Georgia can be seen beyond the passes, including Mount Ushba, which is well known to climbers.
The tour program also includes a visit to Mount Cheget. Mount Cheget (4,200 m.) offers a beautiful view of Elbrus. This mountain is the best panoramic platform with a view of Elbrus. Two chairlift cable cars go up to a height of 3100 m. A great place for a photo shoot! We will certainly visit the Narzan Glade, where you will see powerful narzan springs with carbon dioxide abundantly released from the ground. Here you can admire the real narzan river, the bottom of which has an unusual red-orange color.
