Mountains, sands, carpets — real Dagestan in 5 days! Everything is included

Today we will go to the natural wonders of Dagestan.

They're waiting for us:

• The Sulak Canyon is one of the deepest in Europe, and its scale is breathtaking.;
• Sarykum dune is a piece of real desert among the mountains, where the sand seems to sing under your feet.;
• Sulak Canyon observation deck in Dubki village;
• Noho Cave with suspension bridges and light shining through stone arches;
• lunch at Glavryba restaurant or Miatli Village with trout or barbecue;
• boating on turquoise waters of the Chirkeysky reservoir;
• moving to the mountains. On the way, we will make stops at the Gimrinskaya Tower and the Irganai reservoir.;
• in the evening, check—in at the hotel and have a warm dinner.

In the morning, a delicious homemade breakfast and departure to the Karadakh gorge, where the rocks form a narrow passage, like a secret path to the legend.

Then Goor. The towers standing on the cliffs seem to guard the peace of the past.

There is also the famous Troll's Tongue photo location: the view of the Avar Spit and the mountains makes you forget about time.

Lunch with local residents, with homemade food and comfort, as if you had come to visit relatives.

We return to our guest house, an evening of board games, delicious food, tea drinking and conversations that will become part of the memories.

Let's start the journey with a mysterious Stone Bowl. This is a unique natural amphitheater created by thousands of years of water.

Next, the majestic Matlas Gorge awaits us, where you will be stunned by the breathtaking view of the epic canyon. The pearl of these places is the Matlas Waterfall, an elegant stream in whose spray rainbows are born.

Immerse yourself in culture at the Rasul Gamzatov Museum, where you can touch the soul of the poet and the whole nation.

After a rich program, enjoy the mountain taste over lunch, during which you will be able to participate in a master class on urbech!

Then the power and roar of the Tobot and Itlyatlyar waterfalls awaits us — a real symphony on the edge of the plateau.

And at the end, you will enjoy farewell panoramas from the observation deck to the endless plateau and the majestic Tsolotlinsky Canyon. This is the most amazing shot of the day.

Transfer to Derbent and have a late dinner.

After breakfast, we go for a walk to Derbent, the oldest city in Russia, where every street breathes history.

• tour of the ancient fortress of Naryn-Kala overlooking the endless Caspian Sea;

We return to Makhachkala full of impressions, with the feeling that we have found a place on the map that we want to return to.
