Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival. Sulak Canyon, a cave complex
Gathering of the group at the airport of Makhachkala.
The recommended arrival time is before 12:00. Group transfers:
Uytash airport;
railway station, Makhachkala.
Our journey will begin with exploring the Sulak Canyon, the hallmark of Dagestan.
A speedboat ride through the largest reservoir in the North Caucasus will provide you with vivid emotions for an additional fee starting from 700 rubles/person.
You will see a stunning gorge, at the bottom of which, under the water column, rests the village of Stary Chirkey. A bright and recognizable landmark of Dagestan awaits you, the deepest canyon in Europe.
From the observation deck of the village of Dubki you will have a view of its most spectacular curves.
Freshly caught trout fried over coals until crisp will be served for lunch (main course can be replaced on request).
We will visit one of the most interesting places in Dagestan — the Nokhyo cave complex for an additional fee starting from 500 rubles. The tunnels are connected by a suspension bridge over the Sulak River, on both sides of which there are observation decks.
Here you will have the opportunity to bungee jump for an additional fee.

Day 2 - Derbent, Naryn-Kala fortress, Lun ekranoplan
Breakfast at the hotel.
The first stop will be at the Lun ekranoplane, an ingenious creation of Soviet engineering.
Next, we will continue the tour in Derbent, the southernmost and most ancient city in Russia.
A visit to the Naryn-Kala citadel will reveal to us the ancient history of the fortress, which has protected the city from the invasion of nomads for hundreds of years. Preserved for posterity, it is a symbol of the courage and invincibility of the peoples of the Caucasus.
Next, we will go to lunch at the ethnodome, where South Dagestani cuisine will be waiting for us: dolma, pilaf, chudu and tea drinking.
After that, we will walk through the streets of the old city and visit the Juma Mosque, built in 733. Let's plunge into the culture of the southern peoples of Dagestan and feel the oriental flavor of Derbent.
The souvenir shop included in the program will allow you to purchase gifts in memory of Dagestan. Traditional crafts of the peoples, tea and sweets are presented here.
Return to the hotel.

Either spend this day in Derbent, visit the beach or choose any other activity.

Day 4 - Khuchni and Khanaga waterfall. A master class. Departure
Breakfast at the hotel. Room release.
Today you will explore Southern Dagestan, where you will get acquainted with the way of life and traditions of the Tabasaran people.
You will be transferred to the Khuchni center of Tabasaran district and explore its sights.
This is the fortress of Seven brothers and one sister, which towers over the village as a symbol of the heroic past of the people. And the small but picturesque Khanaga waterfall, at the foot of which locals like to relax.
After that, you will stop for lunch at the ethnocomplex.
Here you can participate in a master class on traditional miracle cooking and carpet weaving (included in the price).
Group transfer to the airport and railway station of Makhachkala upon departure.
Departure time from Dagestan is after 18:00.
