Stop in the village of Parskoye at a healing spring.
During the reign of Ivan the Terrible, the village was one of the most important villages in the territory of the region. Vasily Shuisky, who owned the village in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, repeatedly came to Parskoye.
Parskoye became known throughout Russia in the first half of the 19th century. It was the heyday of the fair, which was called "Ivanovskaya". Every year at the end of August, merchants from all over Russia came to the village for two weeks.
According to legend, an icon of John the Baptist was found on the banks of the Scab, which is why a spring near the temple was dedicated to John the Baptist.
The source, as well as the village of Parskoye, have been known for more than 600 years. The spring has a good swimming pool, and the Church of the Beheading of John the Baptist is located nearby.
