Christmas in the heart of Konigsberg

After breakfast we leave for Svetlogorsk.

In the past, Rauschen was an elite seaside resort in East Prussia. How did the city become the most fashionable resort, even without access to the sea? 

How is it so different from other coastal towns? And why is there so much talk about Hoffmann here? 

There are many questions in the fabulous Svetlogorsk, and the more you explore it, the more interesting it becomes. There are no wide sandy beaches here, but the steep terrain, the furious Baltic element and the elegant architecture of German villas will not leave anyone indifferent.

After dinner, you can relax in the pool and sauna.

We will have breakfast and go to the Curonian Spit.

The Curonian Spit is a national park and a UNESCO monument, a narrow strip of land with a length of 100 kilometers, washed by the Baltic Sea from the west and the Curonian Lagoon from the east. People come here for the unique natural landscapes.

We will climb the ecotrope surrounded by pine trees to the Efa dune and admire the panorama of high sands, which are constantly moving by the force of the Baltic wind.

Let's take time for a snack on the route and go to Muller Height: climb a dune covered with dense forest, along the trails between the roots of century-old pines. A panorama of the entire Curonian Spit opens here.

We will see the famous Dancing Forest and solve its mysteries.

In the evening we will return to the complex for a festive Christmas dinner.

We will celebrate Christmas in pleasant company, taste local Kaliningrad products and hear many interesting stories about the holidays in Konigsberg.

After breakfast we leave for Zelenogradsk.

There we will have a walk through the resort pearl of the Baltic Sea.

At the end of the XIX century, travelers from Europe and Russia aspired here – in the XXI century, modern Zelenogradsk attracts tourists. 

Cozy old streets with coffee shops and souvenir shops, a beautiful promenade along the sea and wide sandy beaches have been preserved here. 

Zelenogradsk surprises even locals with its magical decorations! This is a real Christmas tale – with cute European houses and mulled wine on the promenade by the sea.
