We will meet you at the airport and go to check into a 4* hotel located in the prestigious historical part of Kaliningrad, formerly the elite area of old Konigsberg — Amalienau.
A compliment will be waiting for you in the room: a bottle of sparkling wine with fruits to relax after the flight and tune in to a beautiful and vibrant vacation!
We have a little rest and meet for a welcome lunch in a beautiful restaurant of local author's cuisine.
The establishment has an impressive interior with a large stained glass window, which creates an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance!
For an aperitif, we will be served a set of farm cheeses and Baltic delicacies with fried potato mousse.
As the main course, we will try fillet of Baltic eel — the real culinary pride of the Kaliningrad region! Of course, the dishes are served with wine accompaniment, perfectly emphasizing the shades of flavors.
And at the end of the meal, for dessert we will taste handmade branded sweets from the chef, which literally melt in your mouth!
All meals according to the program are already included in the price of the tour, you just need to relax and enjoy!
A delicious, wine-filled and soulful trip to Kaliningrad is declared open! Hurray!
After dinner, we will have an evening walk along the Pregolya River! We will walk along the canals under the bridges and see the evening city from the water.
We will learn about the history of the city, see historically significant places, beautiful embankments, where Immanuel Kant once strolled, and Peter the Great conducted business negotiations.
Then we will go to a cozy marzipan house, where we will taste various marzipan products with a cup of coffee or tea.
In 1809, the Italian confectioners, the Pomatti brothers, opened a confectionery factory for the production of marzipan in Konigsberg and supplied their products even to the Royal Court.
Since then, Kaliningrad marzipan has been popular all over the world!
After a busy day, we return to our hotel and look forward to a closer acquaintance with Kaliningrad and local gastronomy tomorrow!
