The Curonian Spit National Park is an amazing, unique natural area, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. 

It is a narrow, long strip of land between two bodies of water: The Baltic Sea and the freshwater bay. 

The Curonian Spit is one of the smallest national parks in Russia. Its uniqueness lies in a rare combination of natural and cultural heritage. 

Here you can enjoy the sea breeze, strolling along the white sandy beach, admire the pine trees twisting in an intricate dance and filling your lungs with phytoncides. And bird trills will accompany you on every ecotrope. 

On this atmospheric excursion, you will visit ornithologists and learn many interesting facts about the life of birds, try to solve the mystery of the "Dancing Forest" and climb the highest dune of the Russian spit territory.

09:00 Excursion "Chernyakhovsk: traces of history on the streets of the city".

It is no secret that many people go to the Kaliningrad region, as to "Russian Europe". That's where we'll take you, to the city of Chernyakhovsk.

Everything is beautiful in this city — houses and streets, fountains and sculptures, churches and castles. Almost 90% of the pre-war buildings of the city are being actively put in order. 

Restorers are being trained on the remains of the ruined Insterburg Castle, which we will visit. The preserved Georgenburg Castle is preparing to become a museum, and in the school, during the First World War, there was an infirmary, the sisters of mercy in which persons of royal blood served. 

Napoleon Bonaparte once stayed in this city. And in the well-preserved building of the Lutheran church, Orthodox services are held. 

Filled with impressions, we will go for lunch to a cafe located in the cinema building, built in the early XX century. Black-and-white movie stars Marlene Dietrich and Lyubov Orlova have performed in this cinema over the years, presenting their films. 

Now the atmosphere of those years has been recreated there, into which you and I will plunge, looking at ourselves in the mirror, which reflected the stars of the last century, and then with bated breath waiting for the start of the film screening, reviving a bygone era. 

Chernyakhovsk is a wonderful city that takes away the heart without a trace, as you will see for yourself.

Route: Baltiysk — Baltiyskaya Spit. 

Feel the breath of the fresh Baltic wind while walking along the westernmost embankment of Russia with warships moored here. 

Baltiysk — formerly Pillau — is a city with a rich pre-war history. The political and military interests of Poland, Russia, France and Sweden have clashed here in different centuries. 

Russian Russian icebreaker You will walk where Peter the Great set foot, see the embankment, named Russkaya in the middle of the 18th century, and the harbor where the Russian icebreaker Ermak stood. 

Beautiful pre-war architecture and monuments to the brave heroes of the Pillau assault, the walls of ancient fortresses and a new temple, a bicentennial lighthouse and majestic sculptures of Elizabeth and Peter will remain in your memory for a long time. 

You will take a ferry to the Baltic Spit, where you will see the defensive structures of the 18th and 19th centuries. 

The hospitable hosts of the Lunette will tell the story of its construction, show interesting films and treat you to pies. 

From the walls of the ruined fort "Zapadny", located on the seashore, you will have a wonderful view of the junction of three water areas — the sea, the bay and the canal.
