09:00 Excursion "Sea, dunes, city. To see and fall in love" (route: NP Curonian Spit — Zelenogradsk).
Beauty can be different, natural and man-made, moving and frozen. The main thing is that it pleases the eye and gives rise to emotions. This is exactly what we promise you on the "Sea, dunes, city" tour.
It will begin with a visit to the Curonian Spit National Park, where even inveterate skeptics are imbued with the beauty of nature.
After all, here, on the narrow strip of land separating the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon, you can simultaneously see beautiful dense forests, majestic sand dunes, and the expanses of the gray Baltic.
Imbued with the natural beauty, we will go to the wonderful Zelenogradsk, a resort town, a holiday town created by human hands, but as if it had come out of a fairy tale.
Cozy streets, elegant houses, lots of art objects, cute coffee shops, museums and shops, and, of course, Zelenograd cats, the real owners of this wonderful city.
Here you will feel what a city should be like, created for human comfort and pleasure, and our guides will tell you how this effect was achieved.
And believe me, you will fall in love with these places without a trace, and the emotions and impressions of this trip will stay with you for many years to come.
17:00 The end of the tour.
Or
09:00 Excursion "To the very west" (route: Baltiysk — Baltic spit).
Feel the breath of the fresh Baltic wind as you walk along Russia's westernmost embankment with the warships moored here.
Baltiysk, formerly Pillau, is a city with a rich pre—war history. The political and military interests of Poland, Russia, France and Sweden have clashed here over the centuries.
Russian Russians will walk where Peter the Great set foot, and you will see the embankment, named Russkaya in the middle of the 18th century, and the harbor where the Russian icebreaker Ermak was stationed.
The beautiful pre-war architecture and monuments to the brave heroes of Pillau's assault, the walls of ancient fortresses and the new temple, the bicentennial lighthouse and the majestic sculptures of Elizabeth and Peter will remain in your memory for a long time.
You will take a ferry to the Baltic Spit, where you will see the defensive structures of the 18th and 19th centuries. The hospitable hosts of the Lunette will tell the story of its construction, show interesting films and treat you to pies.
From the walls of the ruined Zapadny fort, located on the seashore, you will have a wonderful view of the junction of three water areas — the sea, the bay and the canal.
16:00 The end of the tour.
The tour on the day of arrival is NOT included in the tour.
