Itinerary

Day 1 - Meeting. Welcome dinner at the gastronomic restaurant
We will meet you at the airport and go to check into a 4* hotel located in the prestigious historical part of Kaliningrad, formerly the elite area of old Konigsberg — Amalienau.
Traditionally, a compliment will be waiting for you in the room: a bottle of sparkling wine with fruit to relax after the flight and tune in to a beautiful and vibrant vacation!
We have a little rest and meet for a welcome dinner in a beautiful restaurant of local author's cuisine.
The restaurant has an impressive interior with a large stained glass window, which creates an atmosphere of sophistication and elegance!
For an aperitif, we will be served a set of farm cheeses and assorted Baltic delicacies with fried potato mousse. Of course, the dishes are served with wine accompaniment, perfectly emphasizing the shades of flavors!
As the main course, we will try fillet of Baltic eel — a real culinary pride of the Kaliningrad region! The eel is served with cherry vincotto and pickled cucumber sponge.
And at the end of the meal, for dessert, we will taste handmade branded candies from the chef, which literally melt in your mouth!
All meals according to the program are already included in the price of the tour, you just need to relax and enjoy!
A delicious, wine-filled and soulful trip to Kaliningrad is now open!
After dinner, we will have an organ mini-concert in the stunningly beautiful Cathedral, located in the historic Kneiphof district of the former Konigsberg.
The largest organ in Russia is located here, and together with the choral organ it forms the only organ complex in the country.
After the concert, we will visit the New Year's fair near the Cathedral and warm up with fragrant mulled wine!
After the walk, we return to our hotel and look forward to getting to know Kaliningrad and the local gastronomy more closely tomorrow!

Day 2 - Gastronomic master class, historical castles, cheese factory and brewery
We have breakfast at the hotel in the morning and set ourselves up for a very eventful, beautiful day!
We are waiting for a sightseeing tour of Kaliningrad, the former Konigsberg, the center of East Prussia.
We will walk around the city and see all the main sights of Kaliningrad: University Square, the ruins of the Royal Castle, Kant's grave, synagogue, sculpture Alley, Wooden and Honey Bridges. Let's take a walk around Kneiphof Island, located right in the center of Kaliningrad, and find out how it developed and who its most famous inhabitants are.
We will be able to understand the character of the city and immerse ourselves in its interesting Russian-German history.
After the walk, we are expected to attend a gastronomic master class, where we will prepare Baltic cuisine dishes under the guidance of a chef.
For an aperitif, meat and fish appetizers are waiting for us, accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine!
Then we will prepare a spicy pelamis stroganina with a signature sauce, pickled onions and crispy croutons. Let's taste this dish with a glass of fresh white wine.
We will also prepare a fragrant lamb loin with pomegranate sauce and young asparagus, which we will serve on the table with a glass of full-bodied red wine. Enjoy it!
After lunch, we go to see the preserved Lutheran church of the 14th century and the restored Order castle of the 13th century, which was proudly called the "Great Russian Embassy", and Peter I and Catherine the Great visited its walls.
After the tour, we are already expected to have a cheese tasting at the family-owned craft cheese factory, which is located here in the historical ensemble.
The cheese factory produces 12 varieties of cheese and is aged for up to a year on average. The factory also produces handmade chocolates.
We will be told and shown how cheese is made and matures, what conditions are needed for this, and due to which each type of cheese has its own flavor.
And then we will head to the tasting room, where we will taste different types of cheese with a glass of dry wine. We'll taste handmade chocolate too!
After the cheese factory, we will go to the ancient German brewery, once the largest in East Prussia! During the tour, we will find ourselves in one of the rooms of the old factory, where modern production is now located, and descend into the dungeons of Konigsberg.
And, of course, we'll learn all about how beer is brewed, how malt grows, what it tastes like, what hops look like, and what types of hops there are. We will end the tour with a tasting of five varieties of freshly brewed beer!
In the evening we return to our cozy hotel and relax.

Day 3 - Zelenogradsk, local cuisine restaurant, Curonian spit and Baltic eel for dinner
Today, after breakfast at our hotel, we will leave for the Curonian Spit National Park, the highlight of the Kaliningrad region!
Sand dunes, snow—white sand, forests inhabited by moose and wild boars, the sea on one side and the bay on the other.
We alternate small walks with traveling by minibus.
We will learn the history of the dunes, admire them from the heights of Muller and Eph and walk through the mysterious Dancing Forest.
Then we go to the resort town of Zelenogradsk, formerly German Krantz. Beautiful old villas, sea air and beautiful views!
We are going straight to lunch at the Baltic cuisine restaurant, which is located in the building of the former German Post Office of the 19th century!
The chef will offer us to try his author's recipes from local products. First, we will taste the Baltic creamy fish soup with salmon and walleye.
For the hot meal, the chef will serve us a famous dish from the cuisine of Eastern Prussia - Koenigsberg klops made from beef, fragrant venison and tender fillet of Baltic herring. Contrast and originality in every piece!
And it's time to taste branded tinctures of our own production, which will be served with perfect gastronomic pairs! Cherry with cinnamon, Marzipan, Black currant and Borodino — let's try it!
After lunch, we will walk along the main street with Prussian houses and along the promenade along the sea. The walk takes us back to the heyday of Kranz, where the Königsbergers were improving their health.
We will see the water tower, taste the water from the Queen Louise pump room and understand why Zelenogradsk bears the title of "capital of cats".
We will definitely taste the warming marzipan coffee with the most delicious pretzels! With cinnamon, almonds, white or milk chocolate. It's very tasty!
Later in the evening we are going to Svetlogorsk, the most central resort of the "Russian Baltic"! It looks more like European resorts with their high-quality service, first-class hotels and leisurely strolling tourists.
Let's go to dinner! We will be waiting in the chamber restaurant, which serves fish delicacies and traditional German cuisine.
For an aperitif, we will be served sprat paste with tapioca chips.
In the second course, we will try halibut steak with berblanc sauce. The dishes are accompanied by aromatic German Riesling wine.
We will finish the dinner with a traditional apple strudel served with ice cream with Borodino bread.
After dinner, we check into a 4* spa hotel in the center of Svetlogorsk. The hotel opened in 2021 and is located 5 minutes from the waterfront. We will spend two nights here.

Day 4 - Amber Museum restaurant, Baltic tapas and Christmas dinner
Today, after breakfast at our hotel, we will go to explore Svetlogorsk.
We will take a walk and see the city together with a local guide, who will conduct an eventful tour for us. A leisurely walk will take about two hours.
Winding through the narrow streets, let's talk about the historical value of this place, about the traditions and distinguished guests of the elite German resort. There will also be places of worship: a water tower, sculptures and the world's largest sundial.
Then we leave for Yantarny, the only place in the world where commercial amber mining is carried out.
We will visit the interactive museum of the amber plant and learn more about the extraction of amber, its properties and how to distinguish the original from a fake.
Today's lunch will take place in an elegant restaurant located in a historic building, the former hunting castle of King Frederick I of Prussia, surrounded by an ancient park, on the shores of the Baltic Sea.
For the first course, we will try Vitello tonnato in the Baltic style - the most delicate slices of farm beef with tuna cream sauce.
As the main course, we will be served the "gastronomic star" of the establishment — foie gras on brioche toast with caramelized pear and Porto sauce.
The dishes are accompanied by a glass of full-bodied red wine.
After lunch, we will visit the only Blue Flag beach in Russia, which is wide, clean, and equipped. Enjoy the fresh sea air of the Baltic Sea! Even in winter it is very sunny and pleasant to be here!
In the evening we return to Svetlogorsk, where they will be waiting for us for a beautiful Christmas dinner!
Renowned chef Rustam Tangirov, executive president of the St. Petersburg Chefs Club and a regular presenter of culinary programs on TV, will offer us to try dishes from local products.
The first course will be served Baltic tapas, which are mini snacks with smoked eel, lightly salted walleye, sprat and horse mackerel on Estonian toasted bread.
The second course is the chef's signature dish — wontons with Baltic fish and shrimp, accompanied by a delicate dry Verdejo wine (Spain).
And for dessert, a cheesecake made of fried chocolate in velour with meringue and meringue. Chin chin!
Merry Christmas! After dinner, we go to our hotel and relax after a busy day!

Day 5 - Svetlogorsk. Departure
You will have free time after breakfast today.
You can relax in the spa complex at our hotel or take a walk around beautiful Svetlogorsk: walk along the boardwalk and breathe in the sea air.
Then we leave for the airport, happy and full of new experiences!

The tour was organized by the host party to the highest standard, both during the booking process and throughout the trip itself. Everything went exactly as planned, with no changes, and the program was packed with activities. I was pleasantly surprised by the gift on the final evening—a personalized certificate for crossing the Arctic Circle and a customized thermos cup. Such a thoughtful touch!
