Itinerary

  • Day 1 - The Museum-estate of L.N. Tolstoy – Tula

    07:45 Gathering of the group at the metro station Yugo-Zapadnaya (the guide meets with a sign with the name of the tour at the entrance to the cafe "Tasty and dot" (two—storey building), in the subway: the last car from the center, after the glass exit doors - to the left, and to the left (exit to Pokryshkina Street).

    08:00 Departure, travel tour. 

    Yasnaya Polyana Estate Museum. The center of the natural memorial complex is undoubtedly the house of L.N. Tolstoy, in which the writer lived for about half a century. 

    The uniqueness of this house lies in the preservation of authentic furnishings, personal belongings of its inhabitants. You can walk along the magnificent birch and lime alleys at any time of the year, along the paths where Leo Tolstoy walked and pondered his works. 

    Independent walk to the writer's grave (optional).

    Departure to Tula. 

    The sightseeing tour introduces the historical and architectural monuments on the streets of the city (including the handsome Kremlin and temples of the XVII-XIX centuries). 

    There are about a dozen museums in the historical part of the city, including the Museum of Weapons, the Museum of Samovars (those who wish can visit on their own) and others. 

    The tour will end with a visit to the shopping malls in the Kremlin, where you can buy Tula sweets. 

    Transfer to Kaluga.
