Today Shchekino railway station is open as a historical and cultural complex.

The attraction of the complex is the stylized stopping point of Yasenki station (the station was named after it until 1903) with a ticket office and a passenger car of the late 19th — early 20th century. In the carriage, you will be able to see the conditions in which passengers of the first, second and third classes traveled, and watch a newsreel about Leo Tolstoy's stay at Shchekino station.

    • "The classroom of the Diocesan College and the dormitory", the exhibition is a recreated classroom of the St. Sergius Women's four-grade diocesan College and the dormitory of the pupils. This institution was opened in 1880. The interiors are recreated from old photographs from the 19th-20th centuries.
