Day 1 - Arrival in Kamchatka, acquaintance with the guide and the group
Arrival in Kamchatka.

A transfer is arranged for each incoming flight. You can choose any convenient arrival time, we will meet you, even if the flight is delayed.
Accommodation in a spa hotel located in the rural resort area of Paratunka.
Check-in at 14:00, if you arrived in the morning and your room is not ready yet, you will need to wait in the lobby or restaurant of the hotel.
Today we will have the opportunity to relax in the spa complex, swim in the outdoor thermal pool, and have dinner in one of the hotel's restaurants.
In the evening, there is a meeting with the tour leader and the group's acquaintance: the details of the tour and organizational issues are discussed.

Day 2 - Mutnovsky volcano area: a trip to the "Small Valley of Geysers" and the Calm waterfall
We will start our route with the home volcanoes of the southern group. The giants surrounding the city, which can be viewed from almost anywhere in Kamchatka, are called home volcanoes.
Breakfast at the hotel.
07:30 Departure through the Vilyuchinsky pass, the plateau of the Gorely volcano, to the Mutnovsky volcano area by a KAMAZ off-road vehicle.
Stop at the Vilyuchinsky pass, which offers a magnificent panorama of the neighboring volcanoes — Vilyuchinsky and Gorely.
The purpose of our trip today will be the Summer springs, an active geo—thermal plateau.
Arrival at the starting point of the walking route. The briefing.
Easy trekking with small ascents and descents to the valley of Summer springs (about 2 km in one direction). A walk among various thermal phenomena that will be practically under our feet in maximum proximity — boiling boilers, hot springs, large and small steam-gas jets, small waterfalls.
Red-hot steam roars right out of the ground, enveloping the yellow-red stones and green slopes of the valley. Everything is hissing, whistling, bubbling. There are also bubbling gray puddles with viscous boiling water, fountains of hot springs, tunnels.
The country springs are called the Small Valley of Geysers, but there are no real geysers here — not boiling water, but hot gas, which heats the water on the surface, imitating a geyser.
Let's go to the new active zone that appeared in 2024, creating a new landscape.
Return to the car, in a quiet place in the valley of the stream, we will have a picnic lunch: lunch box, hot tea.
On the way back, we will stop and walk (about 500-700 m) to another picturesque location — a 16-meter waterfall on the Calm Stream, which is called the "Snow Leopard".
In the afternoon, return to the spa hotel. Dinner, rest.
At the guests' disposal: thermal pools, spa complex with care programs, 2 restaurants, bar, gym.

Day 3 - Climbing the Gorely volcano. Caves of Gorely volcano

Arrival at the starting point of the walking route. The briefing.
Ascent to Gorely volcano (1829 m, 4 km, ascent takes 1.5-2 hours).
When climbing the volcano, a tour leader follows the group, as a group leader, a guide and an assistant guide (with a full group of 16 people).
Guides ensure the safety of the route, a comfortable pace of ascent, and, if necessary, accompany down those participants who have not mastered the ascent completely.
Gorely volcano is located 75 km southwest of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and is unlikely to attract anyone's attention, but it is not for nothing that this "humble gentleman" is a natural monument.
After all, it has a whole "collection" of craters, each of which has its own characteristics, and they all create a unique ensemble.
In ancient times, it was a volcano of enormous size — 20-25 km, after the strongest eruption, it completely collapsed, forming a caldera about 12 km, from which modern Gorely grew.
Return to the car.
Lunch — lunch box, hot tea.

Day 4 - Boat trip to Russian Bay on a premium yacht
Early departure (06:00-06:40 — early risers are the easiest to experience in the early days, due to the difference in time zones).
Transfer to the marina accompanied by a tour guide.
07:00-08:00 Sailing on a Premium class yacht "Madame De Bua" (Princess is a British luxury yacht brand).
The yacht is 20 meters long, equipped with everything necessary for a safe and comfortable trip.
You can take spectacular photos at the bow and stern and enjoy the sea breeze and views, and there is plenty of room for lunch and relaxation in the warm and cozy cabin with upholstered furniture. Sea fishing gear is provided.
It is known that Avacha Bay is the largest in the world. It's impossible not to fall in love with her at first sight!
After leaving, guests will be offered breakfast on board the yacht.
Along the way, we will visit the Three Brothers rocks, the "calling card" of the city, Tikhaya Bay, Grotovaya Bay, Starichkov Island, and watch seabirds.
During the trip, we will see numerous bird markets: cormorants, hatchets, puffins, stags, ducks, various seagulls, and other birds circling in the air from dawn to dusk, alternately diving for prey into the fish-rich waters.
Fishing is provided in Vilyuchinskaya Bay — lenok, perch, flounder (sometimes there are cod, white-throated halibut and tarpug).
At this time, the chef will prepare an ear of their fresh fish for lunch, prepare seafood for tasting - crab, sashimi from flounder.
It should be borne in mind that only crab freshly caught in the morning is served for tasting, and not all caught flounder is suitable for sashimi, so in rare cases, the tasting may not take place.
Then we will go along the coast to Russian Bay. Let's get as close as possible to Cape Perilous and Cape Kekurny to watch sea otters and sea lions in the rookery near the Laperouse stones.
It is possible to encounter killer whales and humpback whales. Every year they enter our waters and often accompany pleasure boats. The probability of seeing whales is almost 100%, except in the days after storms, when the animals go further into the ocean.
The cook will fry the caught fish on the way back and offer it for dinner.
Return to the port by 18:00.

Day 5 - Moving to the north of Kamchatka to the area of the Klyuchevskaya group of volcanoes

08:00 Loading into the car (passenger "shift" KAMAZ) and departure to the area of the Klyuchevskaya volcano group (about 500 km).
The Klyuchevskaya group consists of 14 active and extinct volcanoes, including the famous Klyuchevskaya Sopka, Shiveluch, Bezymyanny, Tolbachik, etc. This is the largest group of volcanoes in Russia.
To get to these unique places, we will have to drive through almost half of Kamchatka, we will spend today on the road, but believe me, it's worth it!
On the way, lunch at a cafe in the village of Milkovo (at your own expense).
Crossing the bridge over the largest river of the peninsula — Kamchatka.
In the evening around 18:00 arrival in Kozyrevsk.
Accommodation in guest houses for 2 people, single occupancy is not provided — the last civilization is 500 km away from us, wildlife is ahead and this is the first transit point of the route, from here tomorrow morning our journey through the Klyuchevsky Nature Park will begin.
The hospitable hosts will prepare a sauna for us to relax after the trip.
Dinner is a hot meal prepared by field chefs.

Day 6 - The northern breakthrough of the 1975 eruption, the Zvezda crater, lava caves.
07:00 Breakfast at the guest house.
08:00 We leave for the "lunar" landscapes on Tolbachinsky Valley (about 4 hours along the forest road). The road passes through a coniferous forest, we will make several stops in picturesque places for photos.

Tolbachik is an amazing and powerful place in its energy!
In 1975-1976, a catastrophic eruption occurred here — the largest in the 20th century, the Great Fractured Tolbachinsky Eruption (BTTI).
For a year and a half, an incomparable and grandiose element raged. Millions of tons of ash and slag erupted from the cracks and covered all living things around for many tens of kilometers.
Climb to one of the cones of the Northern breakthrough — Gorshkov cone (about 300 m, 30-40 minutes), which offers a fascinating view of the aftermath of the strong eruption of 1975. The cone is still hot — we will feel its warmth under our feet!
Lunch — snack, hot tea.
Guided tour of the lava caves in Zvezda crater (1-1.5 hours). We will have the opportunity to descend into the frozen lava duct, through which a red-hot river of volcanic lava once flowed.
Installation of a tent camp in the "dead forest" area.
Dinner — hot meals, camping kitchen.
Camping romance — relaxing by the campfire, the first night surrounded by volcanoes!
We hope for a clear sky to watch the stars under the crackle of burning wood and the smell of wild rose tea boiling on the fire.

Day 7 - The volcano is Flat Tolbachik. New fractured eruption of 2012 "Dead Forest"

The briefing. Ascent to the slope of Plosky Tolbachik volcano up to 1800-2000 m (about 3 hours). Climbing to this height is enough not to waste extra energy and enjoy the panorama of the entire Tolbachinsky
A valley plowed by huge streams of already frozen lava and covered with a huge layer of slag for tens of kilometers around.
Fractured eruptions are characterized by the outpouring of large amounts of lava. They are also called "tourist" eruptions, due to the relative safety and photogenicity of flowing lava rivers.
This was the case in 2012: huge lava flows swept through the valley, filling up two scientific and tourist bases, streams with drinking water, roads and a nearby forest.
A walk through the frozen lava flow from the last eruption. Let's take a look into the lava caves with arches up to 12 m.
Lunch — snack, hot tea.
Moving to the "Dead Forest", destroyed by the eruption of the 70s.
The once rich pastures and all vegetation within a radius of several kilometers have been destroyed. These places have received the gloomy name "Dead Forest", where the dried-up treetops are visible from under a 7-meter layer of slag.
The stop is near the place where the fragment of the crashed helicopter lies, making this place even more dramatic.
Return to the camp in the evening. Dinner, rest.

Day 8 - Return to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

After crossing the forest road (about 4 hours), we will stop for a snack and tea and continue on our way.

Arrival in the city in the evening.

If you have enough energy or an extra day left, we recommend visiting one of the restaurants in the city.

The Paratunka resort area is located 50 km from Petropavlovsk and Yelizovo. Regular buses run between these points throughout the day. All hotels in Paratunka have hot thermal pools in the open air, which have healing properties.

The last night of the tour is provided in the city, so that guests can visit local restaurants and shops in the evening.

There is a 3* Geyser Hotel in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. If there are no places, another 3* hotel can be provided.

Everything went smoothly, like clockwork—we were well-fed, comfortably accommodated, and everything was organized perfectly. The only downside was the weather. A cyclone hit us, but we managed to visit everywhere, even in the rain, though it made taking photos a challenge. The fog was as thick as milk and rolled in almost instantly. Everyone did an amazing job. Thank you all!

The trip was exceptionally well-organized, with every detail executed to perfection. The program was followed in full, and the transfers were arranged precisely on schedule. The guides were outstanding. During the hikes, the routes were tailored to suit the preferences of the group. With multiple guides, we had the flexibility to move at different paces and split into smaller subgroups. At the airport, we were greeted in a comfortable SUV. On the return journey, we made a stop at the market and the monument featuring the bear. There was plenty of time for shopping and taking photos.
