Helicopter ski tour: heli-skiing in Kamchatka

It all depends on how bad the weather is. 

Sometimes you can take an additional program with activities that do not include skiing or replace heli-skiing with snowmobile throws. 

If skiing is not possible, then there are options for sightseeing routes by snowmobile or by car. 

For those who are ready to experience an absolutely unforgettable experience, we offer surfing. 

When it remains possible to move around the city, we can offer a city tour and a visit to the Vulcanarium interactive site. 

If you can't go outside, then we have master classes on cooking Kamchatka delicacies, holding interesting meetings on the topic of Kamchatka travel, history, etc.

We provide each participant of the program with a complete set of avalanche equipment: a SnowPulse avalanche backpack, a walkie-talkie, a sensor, a shovel and a dipstick.

Before the ride, the group undergoes a full briefing so that our guides make sure that you will not only have this kit with you, but also know exactly what to do with it.

If you have avalanche equipment, then take it with you on the trip. What you are already used to will be more comfortable to use.

Air and railway tickets are not included in the price of the tour. You can purchase them yourself or contact us for help.

It's +9 hours from Moscow. That is, if it's 12:00 in Moscow, then it's 21:00 in Kamchatka.

When buying tickets, it is important to take into account the flight time and the time difference between the departure point and Kamchatka.

For example, if your program starts on April 1, it means that you need to be in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on April 1. In this case, you need to fly from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk on March 31.

You can fly from Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Sakhalin and Blagoveshchensk on the same date if there is a suitable flight.

You can arrive at any time on the day or night of the date indicated as the start of the program or earlier.

You cannot arrive the next day, regardless of what is indicated in your program — due to the weather, changes may be made to the program procedure, and then you may skip departure, for which a refund is not provided in such conditions.

The last day of the program is the day of departure. You can leave at any time on that day or later.

You arrive in Moscow on the same day and hour that you took off.

With most cities in Russia, everything happens about the same way, maybe an hour late.

We have included all the basic costs in the program price — hotel accommodation, meals, transfers and our support. 

But tickets for entrances to thermal pools or hot springs, activities on free days must be paid on the spot. 

You will also probably want to buy seafood as a gift from Kamchatka.

Medical insurance is not included in the price of the tour and is mandatory for all participants.

The insurance must be valid for the entire duration of the program and contain the following conditions: "freeride / off—piste / unmarked skiing", just "downhill skiing" is not enough! 

You can get insurance on the website of a Large Country without commission directly from insurance companies.

We create a program for non-skating guests in accordance with their interests so that they still spend a lot of time with the skaters: in the evenings or on certain trips. A lot of our guests successfully use this option!

In the national team, we can never guarantee a certain level of skating. 

We focus on the answers of our future guests to the questions: How many years have you been riding? How often? Where do you ride? How can you define your level of skating? 

But the answers are always very subjective and everyone can interpret all the questions very differently.

Groups of up to 4 people — 1 guide; 5-9 people — 2 guides; 10-15 — 3 guides; 16-19 people — 4 guides.

The main cost of the heli-ski program is the price for helicopter time. The high cost of MI-8 helicopter flights in mountainous terrain conditions, the specific qualifications of mountain pilots. The more flight time, the more expensive the program.

Yes, changes are possible, please note that:

• the order of the program days may vary;
• the plan for the ski areas is approximate;
• In case of favorable flight weather on the first day and unfavorable weather forecast for the following days, a heli-ski flight is possible on the first day of the program — arrival day.;
• The organizers have the right to cancel the program in case of a shortage of the group.
