The discovery of volcanoes in Kamchatka

After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

You will visit Nikolskaya and Mishennaya hills, get acquainted with the history of the city.

Let's start from the place where the monument – stele "City of Military Glory" is located, on the shore of Avacha Bay.

You will be introduced to the history of the founding of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, founded in 1740, during the Second Kamchatka Expedition, when the Petropavlovsk prison was built.

Next, you will have a walking tour to the landscaped historical site of Nikolskaya Hill, where you will be told about the defense of the city from the superior forces of the Anglo-French squadron.

After that, you will be transferred to Mishennaya Hill, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the city against the backdrop of volcanoes. In good visibility from this place, you can count 8 of them!

After the sightseeing tour, you will visit Khalaktyrsky beach, where you can enjoy the ocean and stroll along the shore.

You will also have a snack, which will be accompanied by the sound of the surf.

On this day, you will climb Gorely volcano with a visit to lava caves. This tour is a real adventure for lovers of outdoor activities and unforgettable impressions.

The ascent of the volcano begins in the early morning, and you will travel by off-road vehicles to the foot of the volcano.

Along the way, you will have a short stop at the Vilyuchinsky pass, where you can enjoy the beauties of the Kamchatka nature with a view of the Vilyuchinsky volcano and, possibly, see the local residents – bears.

The journey to the top of the volcano will take about 2-2.5 hours, it will be quite difficult, but most people can do it. On the way to the top, you will see unique lava caves, the Kamchatka highlands, feel the special air of the mountains, and from the top of the volcano you will have wonderful views of several craters of the volcano with lakes in them.

After stopping at the top, where you will have a snack and relax, the descent begins.

The return trip will take about 1.5-2 hours, and you will return to the parking lot, a little tired, but full of unforgettable impressions.

After dinner, return to the city.

Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Gorely volcano is an all–terrain vehicle, the journey time by car is 2.5 hours one way, with several stops, the distance is about 100 km, followed by an ascent to the top of the volcano, about 2 hours one way (10-12 km with an altitude of 800m.)

The duration of the tour is 10-11 hours.

On this day, you will have a boat trip to Vilyuchinskaya Bay.

Kamchatka is an amazing place for boat trips and wildlife watching. During the trip, you will be able to see a variety of marine life: killer whales, sea lions, seals and seabirds.

During the tour, you will be able to see the Three Brothers kekura, fur seals and killer whales, try your hand at sea fishing and taste freshly caught fish and crabs.

Upon arrival at Vilyuchinskaya Bay, we will be able to disembark with a unique black sand, which is found only in Kamchatka.

Transfer from the hotel to the seaport is a comfortable minibus, the journey time is 15 minutes. After that, on the boat, you will see the Three Brothers kekura, the sea lion rookery on Starichkov Island, killer whales – all this on the way to Vilyuchinskaya Bay, where you will disembark on the beach and have lunch with freshly caught crabs and fish. It is recommended to take motion sickness pills with you.

Day 5 of our tour offers you a simple ascent of the Vachkazhets mountain range.

The Vachkazhets mountain range is also an extinct volcano many thousands of years ago. Climbing will give you a lot of emotions and impressions, and the nature of Kamchatka will leave you with unforgettable memories and peace.

After breakfast, we set off on a trip to the foot of the volcano, to Lake Takhtoloch, from where the ascent will begin. Your way goes to the ruined crater of this circus Volcano, it will require some effort from you, but you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views throughout the route, it will take about 2 hours, followed by a short walk to the waterfall of the Takhtoloch river.

The return trip will take you just over 1 hour.

Lunch is waiting for you at the end of the ascent.

On the way back you will visit the thermal springs "Zelenovskiye Ozerki", where you can swim, relax and unwind.

Transfer from the hotel to the tour venue is an all–terrain vehicle, the journey time is about 1.5 hours in one direction, the distance is about 100 km, followed by a simple ascent to Takhtoloch waterfall and the "circus" of the massif, about 1.5 hours (3-5 km with an altitude of 300 m.) The duration of the tour is 10-12 hours.

A free day or an excursion for an additional fee.

On this day, you will visit the Camel Mountain extrusion. It is possible to exchange for an additional fee for an ethnographic excursion "Aborigines of Kamchatka".

After breakfast, we set off. Along the way, we will drive along a Dry River, see Kamchatka ground squirrels and even be able to feed them with our hands. Our walking tour starts at the foot of the Avacha volcano and offers breathtaking landscapes. You will be able to see graceful meadows covered with flowers and grasses. This place is perfect for walks and photo shoots. At the foot of the Avacha volcano you will find a combination of beautiful landscapes and unique geology.

Camel Mountain is one of the most easily accessible mountain peaks of the Kamchatka Territory, a simple ascent takes about 50 minutes. Amazing and stunning panoramas of the surrounding landscapes open from the top of Camel Mountain. You will be able to see the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes, rocks and bright green meadows.

Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Camel Mountain is an all–terrain vehicle, the journey time is 1.5 hours in one direction, the distance is about 50 km, followed by a simple ascent to the top of Camel Mountain, about 1 hour in one direction (4 km with an altitude of 300 m.)

The duration of the tour is 7-8 hours.
