The discovery of volcanoes in Kamchatka

After breakfast, you will have a sightseeing tour of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. 

You will visit Nikolskaya and Mishennaya hills, get acquainted with the history of the city. 

Let's start from the place where the monument – stele "City of military Glory" is installed, on the shore of Avacha Bay. 

You will be introduced to the history of the founding of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, founded in 1740, during the Second Kamchatka Expedition, when the Petropavlovsk ostrog was built.

Next, you will have a walk to the landscaped historical site of Nikolskaya Hill, where you will be told about the defense of the city from the superior forces of the Anglo-French squadron. 

After that, you will be transferred to Mishennaya Hill, from where you can enjoy a stunning view of the city against the background of volcanoes. In good visibility from this place, you can count 8 of them!

After the sightseeing tour, you will visit Halaktyrsky beach, where you can enjoy the ocean and walk along the shore. 

You will also have a snack, which will be accompanied by the sound of the surf.

On this day, you will climb the Gorely volcano with a visit to the lava caves. This tour is a real adventure for lovers of outdoor activities and unforgettable experiences. 

The ascent of the volcano begins in the early morning, you will go by all-terrain vehicles to the foot of the volcano. 

Along the way, you will have a short stop at the Vilyuchinsky pass, where you can enjoy the beauties of Kamchatka nature with a view of the Vilyuchinsky volcano and, possibly, see local residents – bears. 

The way to the top of the volcano will take about 2-2.5 hours, it will be quite difficult, but most people can do it. On the way to the top you will see unique lava caves, the Kamchatka highlands, feel the special air of the mountains, and from the top of the volcano you will have wonderful views of several craters of the volcano with lakes in them.

After a rest stop at the top, where you will have a snack and relax, the descent begins. 

The return will take about 1.5-2 hours, you will return to the parking lot, a little tired, but full of unforgettable impressions. 

After dinner, return to the city.

Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Gorely volcano is an all–terrain vehicle, the duration of the journey by car is 2.5 hours one way, with several stops, the distance is about 100 km, followed by climbing to the top of the volcano, about 2 hours one way (10-12 km with a climb of 800m.) 

The duration of the tour is 10-11 hours.

On this day, you will have a boat trip to Vilyuchinskaya Bay.

Kamchatka is an amazing place for boat trips and observing the fauna. During the trip, you will be able to see a variety of marine life: killer whales, sea lions, seals and seabirds.

During the tour you will be able to see the Three Brothers kekura, fur seals and killer whales, try yourself at sea fishing and taste freshly caught fish and crabs. 

Upon arrival at Vilyuchinskaya Bay, we will be able to disembark with a unique black sand, which is found only in Kamchatka.

Transfer from the hotel to the seaport is a comfortable minibus, the journey time is 15 minutes. After that, on the boat, you will see the Three Brothers kekura, the sea lion rookery on the island of Old Men, killer whales – all this on the way to Vilyuchinskaya Bay, where you will land on the beach and have lunch with freshly caught crabs and fish. It is recommended to take motion sickness pills with you.

The 5th day of our tour offers you a simple ascent of the Vachkajec mountain range.

The Vachkazets mountain range is also an extinct volcano many thousands of years ago. Climbing will give you a lot of emotions and impressions, and the nature of Kamchatka will leave you with unforgettable memories and peace. 

After breakfast, we set off on a trip to the foot of the volcano, to Lake Takhtoloch, from where the ascent will begin. Your path goes to the destroyed crater of this circus Volcano, it will require some effort from you, but you will be able to enjoy beautiful views throughout the route, it will take about 2 hours, followed by a short walk to the waterfall of the Takhtoloch River.

It will take you a little over 1 hour to get back. 

Lunch is waiting for you at the end of the ascent. 

On the way back, you will visit the thermal springs "Zelenovskiye Ozerki", where you can swim, relax and unwind.

Transfer from the hotel to the place of the excursion is an all–terrain vehicle, the journey time by car is about 1.5 hours in one direction, the distance is about 100 km, followed by a simple ascent to the Takhtoloch waterfall and the "circus" of the massif, about 1.5 hours (3-5 km with a climb of 300 m.) The duration of the excursion is 10-12 hours.

Additionally. Helicopter tour of the Valley of Geysers (additionalpayment).

On this day, a helicopter and walking tour with a visit to unique and fascinating natural places can be planned for you: the Valley of Geysers, the caldera of the Uzon volcano located on the territory of the Kronotsky State Natural Biosphere Reserve and thermal springs in the Nalychevo Natural Park, as well as a flyby of two volcanoes: Karymsky and Maly Semyachik.

The Valley of Geysers is one of the five largest geyser fields in the world, where you can see amazing geothermal activity that is not found on the entire continent of Eurasia. 

Next, during the tour, you will visit the caldera of Uzon volcano. The caldera is a huge bowl—shaped crater formed as a result of the destruction of an ancient volcano. Inside the caldera, you will see a stunning view — a geothermal desert, with lumps of sulfur on the surface, a mercury deposit lying under your feet and the youngest geothermal oil. 

The last stop before returning to the city is planned in the Nalychevo Nature Park, where you can swim in equipped fonts with water with medicinal properties, as well as have lunch.

Transfer from the hotel to the heliport is a comfortable minibus. The movement during the tour is carried out by helicopter, the travel time in one direction will be about 1 hour, the distance is 150 km. The duration of the tour with three stops is 6-7 hours. The routes are equipped with boardwalks, which not only protect the soil from erosion, but also serve us for more comfortable movement.

After breakfast, a minibus will pick you up and you will be poisoned to the already familiar heliport. Kuril Lake is one of the most picturesque places on the peninsula. 

The journey will begin with an hour-long helicopter flight to the Kuril Lake. During the flight, you will enjoy stunning views of volcanoes. During the tour of the lake, you will see many bears in their natural habitat, observe the spawning of the Lake sockeye salmon and learn about the life cycle of Pacific salmon. The next stop is the caldera of the Ksudach volcano, where you can contemplate the lake located in the ruptured crater of the volcano, as well as look at pumice stone — a volcanic rock that does not sink in water. This is followed by a short flight to the Khodutka hot springs, where you can swim in equipped fonts with water with medicinal properties, as well as have lunch. 

Transfer from the hotel to the heliport is a comfortable minibus. The movement during the tour is carried out by helicopter, the travel time in one direction will be about 1 hour, the distance is 160 km. The duration of the tour with three stops is 6-7 hours. The routes are equipped with boardwalks, which not only protect the soil from erosion, but also serve us for more comfortable movement.

On this day you will visit the extrusion of Mount Camel. There is a possibility of replacement for an additional fee for an ethnographic excursion "Aborigines of Kamchatka".

After breakfast, we set out on our way. Along the way, we will drive along a Dry river, see Kamchatka gophers and even be able to feed them with our hands. Our walking part of the tour begins at the foot of the Avacha volcano and offers breathtaking landscapes. You will be able to see graceful meadows covered with flowers and grasses. This place is perfect for walks and photo shoots. At the foot of the Avacha volcano you will find a combination of beautiful landscapes and unique geology.

Camel Mountain is one of the most easily accessible mountain peaks of the Kamchatka Territory, a simple ascent takes about 50 minutes.  Amazing and stunning panoramas of the surrounding landscapes open from the top of Mount Camel. You can see the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes, rocks and bright green meadows. 

Transfer from the hotel to the foot of Mount Camel is an all–terrain vehicle, the journey time by car is 1.5 hours one way, the distance is about 50 km, followed by a simple ascent to the top of Mount Camel, about 1 hour one way (4 km with a climb of 300m.) 

The duration of the tour is 7-8 hours.
