Itinerary

Day 1 - A tour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a trip to Halaktyrsky beach
Arrival at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky International Airport.
Meeting at the airport and transfer to the guest house/chalet.
After checking into your rooms, you will have lunch and a trip to Khalaktyrsky beach.
Khalaktyrsky Beach is a beach on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, which is located near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is famous for its black sand of volcanic origin and the panorama of the Koryak, Avachinsky and Kozelsky volcanoes.
Dinner, rest at the guest house/chalet.

Day 2 - Catamaran sea trip
After breakfast, a transfer will take you to the seaport where our large sailing catamaran Kosatka is moored.
Today you will have a transfer to Russian Bay, which takes about 6 hours.
The route passes by the Three Brothers rocks, Starichkov Island, Bezymyannaya Bay, Bolshaya and Malaya Sarannaya Bay, and Sabotazhnaya Bay.
Keep your eyes open! After all, there may be killer whales and whales right ahead!
By evening, the catamaran will enter the waters of Russian Bay, which is about 8 km long.
Lunch and dinner will be served in a large, cozy lounge on board the ship.

Day 3 - Kayaking
The morning in Russian Bay will start with breakfast, and then sea kayaking awaits you (in good weather).
Our guides will tell you the basics of this activity and ensure safety during the walk.
If you're lucky, you'll see spotted seals, which have often been resting on the shallows in the bay since June.
After lunch on board the catamaran, you will visit Cape Kekurny, where the year-round rookery of northern sea lions (sea lions) is located, and you will head towards the city.
Dinner and overnight in the city in a guest house/chalet.

Day 4 - A motorboat ride on Tolmacheva Lake. Visiting the thermal pools
Breakfast and transfer to Tolmacheva Lake. The one-way trip takes at least 3 hours. But it passes through berry fields, where bears can often be seen.
Our camp is located right on the shore of Lake Tolmacheva. We will take a motorboat trip across the lake to the opposite shore, which is rarely reached by people.
That is why bears feel safe here and come to feed on delicious berries.
After lunch in a cozy lake house, we will take a walk to the mar. About 4,600 years ago, an eruption occurred here, leaving behind flat-bottomed craters in which lakes formed.
After that, we will move on the way back, visiting the thermal pools.
Return to the city, dinner at the guest house/chalet.

Day 5 - Country hot springs and Dangerous Canyon
After breakfast, transfer by prepared car to the Mutnovskaya geothermal power plant.
The journey takes about 2 hours, along the way we will make several stops at the observation decks.
Exit to the route that starts immediately from the geothermal station.
We will walk along a dense hiking trail to the beginning of the fumarole field. It is here that mud cauldrons, boiling fountains are located, and the slopes are covered with colorful clay.
Return to the car, lunch.
There is a Dangerous canyon near the Mutnovsky volcano, where we will go by jeep.
The Vulkanaya River flows down from the slopes of Mutnovsky volcano and feeds on snowfields and glaciers, which melt intensively in summer. After emerging from the craters, the Volcano rushes in a frenzied stream along a channel sawn through in lava deposits, and 3 km below it falls from a steep ledge — from a height of about 80 m — into a narrow gap.
The edges of its steep walls are split by cracks, some areas are ready to collapse, and therefore this gorge is called the canyon "Dangerous".

Day 6 - Free/spare day in case of bad weather

Additional excursions are possible on this day (all options are listed in the "Important to know" section):
Ethnic excursion and a visit to the kennel of sled dogs — from 9,000 rubles/person. + transfer, 4 hours. You will be able to immerse yourself in the culture and traditions of the local peoples, learn about their customs, crafts and lifestyle. A visit to the reindeer camp, animal feeding, a photo shoot and a guided tour of the sled dog kennel.
Climbing Avachinsky volcano — from 25,000 rubles / person, 8-10 hours. You will climb up to the crater of one of the home volcanoes, inspect the fumaroles and lava tube. Climbing is difficult and accessible to people with a high level of training.
Jeep tour Vachkazhets mountain range (1 day) — from 18,000 rubles/person, 8-10 hours. During the trip you will see the most beautiful mountain lakes with extremely clear water, one of them is Takhkoloch. It is located right at the beginning of the hiking trail along the Vachkazhets mountain range.
Surfing — from 12,400 rubles/person. + transfer, 4 hours. A crazy adventure in the piggy bank of the brightest moments of life. After that, the participants warm up with fragrant tea and sweets in a cozy guest tent.
Helicopter tours to the Valley of Geysers or Kuril Lake.
Please note that helicopter tours in Kamchatka are unsafe. This is evidenced by the aviation chronicles of 2024 and previous years. We recommend that you cancel the flight and consider other options for additional excursions.
Day 7 - Flight home
Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport with a stop at the fish market and souvenir shop.

The tour provides 2-bed accommodation in one of the guest houses in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky "Bay House" or in a country hotel (chalet), as well as one overnight stay aboard a sailing catamaran.

The accommodation option is determined by the tour organizer.

The cost of the tour for 1 person is 198,000 rubles.

Guest house "Bay house"

The Bay House Guest House is located in the Seroglazka residential area of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

The rooms are equipped with: free Wi-Fi, a work desk, a private bathroom, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, and a safe. Some of them have access to a terrace, views of the Volcanoes of Kamchatka or an attic window.

A continental breakfast is served daily for visitors. There is a restaurant on site. In the shared kitchen you will find: cutlery, an electric kettle, a coffee machine and a cooktop. All rooms are equipped with a refrigerator.

The guest house has a coworking space.

For traveling in Kamchatka in summer, we recommend taking light and comfortable clothes with you, which will protect you from strong wind and rain.

My partner and I traveled together and visited Kamchatka for the first time. We’re both beginners when it comes to skiing, we’d only practiced on slopes near Moscow before, so we wanted to try real mountains while also exploring some beautiful places. To sum up: First of all, this was the best vacation of our lives, and we’ve traveled quite a lot. The beauty of the region, the climate, the people, it all left us amazed in the best possible way :D Secondly, the level of comfort and organization was outstanding. The transfers were convenient and flexible, taking us wherever we needed on request 👍 The team welcomed us like family, which made the whole experience even more special. Thirdly, everything was very well planned. The itinerary was discussed in advance, what we wanted to do, when it suited us best, and so on. At one point, the weather turned bad (heavy snow and zero visibility), so we couldn’t go to the volcano, but alternative activities were immediately предложены, which kept the day just as enjoyable. Fourth, food 😂 We love good food , but even we couldn’t finish everything that was served at breakfast and dinner :)the portions were generous, the variety was great ,and everything was delicious 👍 We definitely recommend this trip. One small tip: the direct flight is about 9 hours long, so if you can, it’s worth paying a little extra for a more comfortable seat, it makes a big difference. We’re already planning to come back in the summer. The program looks amazing, fishing, bears, volcano hikes. Kamchatka completely won us over.
