Itinerary

Day 1 - Halaktyrsky beach
At 12:00 local time, we meet at the hostel, leave our things and go to the famous beach with black volcanic sand. It is called Halaktyrsky.
Here we will cook fish soup, get acquainted, and the bravest participants will be able to swim in the invigorating waves of the Pacific Ocean. Even in summer, the water temperature reaches barely 10 degrees. Then we go back to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
If the weather permits and we have strength left, we will climb Mishennaya Hill, which is located near the hostel and look at Avacha Bay from above.
In the evening we return to the hostel, have dinner in a cafe (not included in the price) and go to bed. We need to rest properly and get used to the time zone change, because tomorrow we will have an early departure.
Day 2 - Gorely Volcano
The first days will be especially busy: we get up early, have breakfast and drive an all-terrain vehicle to the southern group of volcanoes. In about 4-5 hours we will drive 110 km (the exact time depends on the condition of the roads).
The first in our program is the active Gorely volcano with a height of 1829 m.
We get to the place, arrange a snack and go climbing. The climb is not difficult, we have to gain ~ 700-750 m in height, and walk 4.5 km there and back.
In good weather, we will not only look into two of the eleven Gorely craters, but also see the Vilyuchinsky volcano. After climbing, we will have a return trip to the camp and lunch.
After lunch, if we have time and energy, we will visit the lava caves. In the evening, we will share our impressions over dinner, find out the plan for the next day and go to bed.

Day 3 - The waterfall in the canyon is dangerous
Today we are also waiting for an early ascent and a waterfall in the canyon is Dangerous. This is an amazing waterfall!
Its height is about 80 meters. The view opens 50-60 meters.
The rest of the power of the water dives into a glacier that has been dormant for years.
Look around and believe that you are almost in the Grand Canyon. Unbelievable!
After that, we have a snack and go to the parking lot. We have dinner and go to bed. Overnight in tents.
Day 4 - Small valley of geysers
Today we will visitA small valley of geysers. This place has nothing to do with the famous Valley of Geysers, but the views here are also very impressive.
Hot springs are an active fumarole field, the gases of which heat the cold water of a mountain stream, and as a result, fountains of hot water and steam can be observed. In addition, there are hot springs with blue clay where you can swim.
We have lunch and move to the village of Paratunka. On the way, we will stop at the waterfall on the Calm stream.
Let's stop at the recreation center. Hurray! Civilization: shower, cellular connection, electricity and real beds.
Day 5 - Ethnic village and transfer to the Avacha volcano
We have breakfast at the recreation center in Paratunka (breakfast is included in the price) and go to the ethnic village. Here we can get acquainted with the life of the indigenous peoples of the peninsula.
We will see yarangs with traditional decorations, a concert of local aborigines will give vivid impressions – a fascinating harp playing, national songs and scenes from the life of hunters, the smell of herbal tea — and all this against the background of lakes and volcanoes. We will even master several movements of the national dance.
We will have lunch in a warm yurt-like yaranga, and from the dishes we will try local Kamchatka fish soup and tortillas cooked over a campfire. As a souvenir, you can take pictures in national costumes and buy handmade souvenirs made of bone and wood.
After lunch, we will go by car to the foot of the Avacha volcano. The journey will take about 2 hours (70 km).
Upon arrival, we settle down in houses (for 10 people, shower for a fee, toilet on the street), have dinner and enjoy the views of the slumbering giant under the first stars in the anthracite Kamchatka sky.
Day 6 - Climbing the Avacha volcano
Today will be a special day, because we have to climb the Avacha volcano. We will walk 15 km radially, and the height difference from the starting point to the top will be greater than when climbing Elbrus: 1900 m. The heights, of course, are not the same, but in Kamchatka, due to the difficult climate, the "gornyashka" comes earlier than in the Caucasus.
We walk light, admire the stunning views of the Koryak volcano and the Pacific Ocean, take short pauses to relax and take selfies. With good weather, we have every chance to get to the top. Everything here is smoking, boiling and bursting with heat, there is a riot of colors around.
Ochre, brick and gray-black colors of volcanic rocks are mixed with yellow-green shades of sulfur deposits, and snow-white snows and glaciers are visible in the distance.
Right at the top we have a snack and start the descent down. After reaching the camp, we share our impressions, pack our things and return to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky or Yelizovo in 1.5 hours (50 km) (you can check the exact name of the hostel with a consultant).
We spend the night in the hostel (dinner at the cafe is not included in the price).
Day 7 - Boat trip and Vulcanarium
After climbing the volcano, we will return to the ocean again and take a boat trip along Avacha Bay. It does not freeze in winter, is considered one of the largest bays on the planet and is able to accommodate a vessel of any size.
During the trip by boat, we will admire the beauties of the ocean coast, get acquainted with the amazing island of Old Men, see colonies of seabirds, catch fish and taste delicious fish soup.
We return to the city and go to the Vulcanarium. On the tour, we will summarize all the knowledge about volcanoes, learn a lot of facts about the volcanoes of Kamchatka and the World. In this museum, the exhibits can be touched and viewed.
In addition, we will launch clouds, enter a lava cave, and see how the lava flow forms. We will also take a selfie against the background of the erupting Kamchatka volcanoes.
We have dinner in a cafe (not included in the price), spend the night in a hostel. On the last evening, we arrange gatherings, share our impressions of the hike, exchange contacts and thank each other for the company.
Day 8 - Saying goodbye to Kamchatka and buying gifts
We get up early, get ready quickly and go to the market. There is a very large selection on the market, and we recommend that you estimate in advance how many fish, caviar, magnets and other local souvenirs you are going to buy. You can pay at the market in cash or by card, caviar and fish will be packed for the plane.
All the gifts have been purchased, and it's time to say goodbye to Kamchatka and new friends and hug one last time. It's a little sad, but we know for sure that volcanoes and the ocean will wait for us until the next meeting.

A real volcano hike awaits you. This is not an easy walk! The route is assigned difficulty 2/4 only because all crossings are light (without backpacks). Otherwise, this is a real hike, do not be misled by the imaginary lightness.

We will walk a lot (up to 20 km per day), up and down volcanoes and trails, sometimes with very steep slopes, and sometimes without a trail at all (elevation differences of 1000 meters!). In total, we will walk about 60 km in eight days of the tour and gain almost 2500 m altitude! To cope with this, you need good physical shape.

The tour provides accommodation in tents (2 nights), hostels (3 nights), a recreation center (1 night), in houses for 10 people (1 night).

The cost of the tour for 1 person (adult) is 106 000 rubles.

The cost of the tour for 1 child from 10 to 12 years old is 85,000 rubles.

The tour starts at the age of 12, but we are ready to take children from the age of 10 on the route after agreeing with our consultants, since not all children of this age are ready for such a program.

for each tent place for those who take their own tent suitable for the conditions of the hike (you can check with a consultant if your tent is suitable) — 500 rubles.
