Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Getting to know sled dogs and traveling by dog sled

    The tour starts at approximately 08:00.

    Meeting in Petrozavodsk or at the airport.

    If you arrive later than the start of the main group, then join on your own at the moment where the group is located in Petrozavodsk. If the group is already in the eco-complex at the time of arrival, it is possible to arrange a transfer for an additional fee (reservation in advance).

    Transfer to the Polar Explorer's House (30 km).

    Breakfast in Karelian style.

    Briefing, acquaintance with the instructor, information on the program completion.

    Safety briefing, selection of equipment.

    Getting to know sled dogs.

    Team gathering.

    Team management training.

    A dog sledding trip through the Karelian forest to the forest lake.

    A snack by the campfire at a rest stop while driving along the route.

    Return to the Polar Explorer's House.

    Summing up the results of the day.

    Dinner by the fireplace — Karelian cuisine and tasting of Karelian tinctures based on northern herbs and berries.

  • adult — 39,900 rubles;
  • children 8-12 years old — 26,300 rubles;

The additional payment to the program for one person traveling by sled / snowmobile is 5,000 rubles/day.

Guest house "House of the Polar Explorer" 1 night

The guest house "House of the Polar Explorer" can accommodate 18 people at the same time. 

The house has 6 rooms — four triple rooms, one double room, one quadruple room, no single rooms, two bathrooms and a shower cabin. 

Usually, guests who do not cook themselves, but prefer to eat from the kitchen, move in here. 

It houses the administration of the tourist complex and a lounge - a cozy fireplace room with a large TV and Wi-Fi.
