New Year and Christmas season is a time of miracles!

You will spend 4 days in Karelia in the atmosphere of a fairy tale, warm up by a wood-burning fireplace with a live fire and mulled wine to beautiful live music.

You will also write a real letter to the North Pole, which will be delivered and sent to you by a famous polar explorer on a real Arctic expedition. This is an opportunity that can be realized by no more than 150 people worldwide per year. And now you have such an opportunity! Isn't it a miracle?!

Itinerary

Day 1 - Petrozavodsk
Arrival in Petrozavodsk.
Breakfast in a cafe in the city.
Acquaintance with the capital of Karelia — Petrozavodsk and its pearl — the embankment of Lake Onega.
Excursion program to the Fine Art Museum of Karelia for the interactive exhibition "Kalevala" on the main Karelian epic — the philosophy of the Karelian land.
Transfer to the eco-complex.
Acquaintance with the Polar Explorer's House, accommodation.
Lunch at the Polar Explorer's House.
Visit the threshold of the Big Tolly — the most picturesque in South Shuya, the tree of desires.
Dinner and a musical evening by the fireplace in the Polar Explorer's House.
Day 2 - Ruskeala Mountain Park
Breakfast at the Polar Explorer's House.
A visit to the Ruskeala Mountain Park — the basis of the complex is a cultural heritage site, a historical monument — a former marble quarry filled with groundwater on the banks of the Tohmajoki River.
The quarry began to be developed in 1765, at the beginning of the reign of Catherine II.
Ruskeala marble was used in the construction of significant buildings in St. Petersburg and the palace suburbs.
It is lined with St. Isaac's Cathedral, the floors of the Kazan Cathedral are laid, the window sills of the Hermitage are made, the windows of the Marble Palace and the facade of the Mikhailovsky Castle are framed.
Lunch on the route.
Return to the Polar Explorer's House.
Dinner by the fireplace.
Entertainment program with a presenter, fireworks (for arrival on New Year's Eve).
Day 3 - Visiting the huskies
Breakfast at the Polar Explorer's House.
The program "New Year visiting huskies" with the participation of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden — an excursion to the kennel of northern sled dogs, dog sledding.
Hot lunch with lohikato, a rustic plate (pickles and smoked meats), a gate — a traditional Karelian pie, a morse of northern berries, herbal teas and Karelian tinctures of different strength (for persons over 18 years old).
Dinner is a tradition of northern cuisine.
Watching a feature film about the Arctic.
A wood-burning sauna for those who wish.
Mulled wine under the crackle of the fireplace and pleasant music.
Day 4 - Marcial waters and Kivach waterfall. Departure
Breakfast at the Polar Explorer's House.
Excursion to Kivach waterfall, visit to the first health resort in the history of Russia "Marcial waters".
You will see the Mountain of 1000 hares and the mountain "Sampo" — one of the most legendary places of Karelia, described in the epics about Karelia.
The program is for the whole day.
Lunch is on the way.
We will take a look at the Karelian fish shop and souvenir shops.
Final dinner at the Petrozavodsk restaurant.

On these dates and on the dates of January 2-5, alternative accommodation is possible nearby in cozy family houses. The entire tour program takes place on the territory of the eco-complex, a transfer to the accommodation is included in the tour price.

Guest house "House of the Polar Explorer"

The guest house "Dom Polyarnik" is designed to accommodate 18 people at the same time.

The house has 6 rooms — four triple, one double, one quadruple, no single rooms, two bathrooms and a shower cabin.

Usually, guests who do not cook themselves, but prefer to eat from the kitchen, move in here.

The administration of the tourist complex and the cabin company are located here - a cozy fireplace room with a large TV and Wi-Fi.
