You will spend 4 days in Karelia in the atmosphere of a fairy tale, enjoy the winter beauties of the most picturesque places of Karelia, explore interesting facts about the development of Karelian culture as part of sightseeing programs, taste the north, get acquainted with Arctic sled dogs.

Also, take a mini dog sledding trip and feel like a cabin, warm up by the wood-burning fireplace with a live fire and mulled wine to beautiful live music, and write a letter to the North Pole, which will be delivered and sent by a famous polar explorer on a real Arctic expedition.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Getting to know Petrozavodsk. Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia. The threshold of the Big Crowd
Arrival in Petrozavodsk.
Breakfast in a cafe in the city.
Acquaintance with the capital of Karelia — Petrozavodsk and its pearl — the embankment of Lake Onega.
Excursion program to the Museum of Fine Arts of Karelia for the interactive exhibition "Kalevala" on the main Karelian epic — the philosophy of the Karelian land.
Transfer to the eco-complex.
Familiarization with the location, accommodation.
Lunch at the accommodation location.
Visit the threshold of Bolshaya Tolly, the most picturesque wish tree in South Shuya.
Dinner and a musical evening by the fireplace at the accommodation.

Day 2 - Ruskeala Mountain Park
Breakfast at the accommodation location.
A visit to the Ruskeala Mountain Park — the basis of the complex is a cultural heritage site, a historical monument — a former marble quarry filled with groundwater on the banks of the Tohmajoki River.
The quarry began to be developed in 1765, at the beginning of the reign of Catherine II.
Ruskeala marble was used in the construction of significant buildings in St. Petersburg and the palace suburbs.
They lined St. Isaac's Cathedral, laid out the floors of the Kazan Cathedral, made the window sills of the Hermitage, framed the windows of the Marble Palace and the facade of the Mikhailovsky Castle.
Lunch along the route.
Return to the accommodation location.
Dinner by the fireplace.
Entertainment program with a presenter, fireworks (for arrival on New Year's Eve).

Day 3 - Excursion to the kennel of northern sled dogs, dog sledding
Breakfast at the accommodation location.
The program "New Year's visit to the husky" with the participation of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden — an excursion to the kennel of northern sled dogs, dog sledding.
Hot lunch with lochikeitto, rustic plate, gate — traditional Karelian pie, mors made from northern berries, herbal teas and Karelian tinctures of various strengths (for persons over 18 years old).
Dinner is a tradition of northern cuisine.
Watching a feature film about the Arctic.
Mulled wine with a crackling fireplace and pleasant music.

Day 4 - Kivach Waterfall. The resort "Marcial waters". Sampo Mountain
Breakfast at the accommodation location.
Excursion to Kivach waterfall, visit to the first health resort in the history of Russia "Marcial waters".
You will see 1000 Hares Mountain and Sampo Mountain, one of the most legendary places in Karelia, described in the epics about Karelia.
A full-day program.
Lunch is on the way.
We'll take a look at the Karelian fish shop and souvenir shops.
Final dinner at a restaurant in Petrozavodsk.
The program ends at approximately 18:50. After dinner, the restaurant provides a transfer to the railway station, but there may be deviations from the schedule due to weather conditions or the condition of the highway.
We recommend that you consider tickets from Petrozavodsk at a later date.
